For those (like me) who gave up on beating this game, this is prolly the closest thing you’ll see to an ending. Full of SPOILERS if you are still playing the game….

“How can you not like her she is smart, ruthless, and is the Queen Bitch of the Universe”
Spoken like an enthusiast Magnum, Skrunks will be proud.
“This, without of doubt, equals when you killed Fenix and Duke in ONE mission in Brood War. I felt…. betrayed that day Blizzard. I hope you’re happy.”
Why? You like Duke just because he is a “CONFEDERATE” and is voiced by a southern voice actor?

Yea the Omega mission made me love that character because of the Queen Bitch of the Universe line. God that was a great line

- That, and he was based off Patton, he was the old-by-the-books commander, he didn’t get enough actual wins in the story line, and he was “The Duke.” Nobody with a name like that deserves the shitty role he got in Starcraft.

You get command of him in the mission Big Push. So he does get a win

But that one win was the win that destroyed the Confederacy’s Capital and give rise to the Terran Dominion and became the strongest Terran Faction in the Koprulu Sector and he as fought over 30 major battles over Tarsonis and was in command of Alpha Squadron. Which is one of the toughest squadrons in the Koprulu Sector.
Here is his profile.

Believe me Mega, I know about Duke already, still doesn’t negate the fact he got a crappy role in Starcraft and only truely won one battle in the entirety of the Starcraft storyline. That’s bullshit.
And I still hate Kerrigan.

You have to admit though he did have a good list word.
“”Do your worst then, girl. You ain’t takin’ Edmund Duke without a fight!”"

Indeed, still doesn’t make up for a crap way to end a character who only won once and deserved much more.
Kinda like Arthas…… Damn you Blizzard…. Arthas vs Thrall would have been epic and very fitting.

I must say I am extraordinarily thick at times. It took me forever to realize this was canon…Ok, maybe that was because I was in denial, but that’s beside the point.
Seriously what the hell is with Blizzard these days? Kael’thas, Illidan, Malygos, and now Arthas have all died some really weakass deaths. Not to mention some horrid character derailment. Illidan went from complex multi-layered character to some random evil dude set up to be killed in TBC despite his original intentions for fleeing to Outland was to basically be left alone. Kael’thas got derailed so hard he started working for the Burning Legion which was responsible for the destruction of his homeland and the Blood Elf vendetta in the first place! Malygos the Spell-Weaver went from good guy to evil so spontaneously it caught a ton of fans off-guard. It didn’t help this powerful, ancient, and very intelligent character couldn’t see he was causing more harm than the mortal spellcasters ever did.
And lastly there’s Arthas, a character a ton of people remember playing with in WC3 and Frozen Throne. This fight was gonna get personal from the start for many. He was my personal favorite from the game. And who defeats him is none other than some one-dimensional paladin who uses his very lame sword Ashbringer to shatter Frostmourne, allowing the souls inside to render Arthas helpless while people beat on him. Also the whole “There must always be a Lich King!” struck me as cliched and lame. Yes, it answers how they’d keep the Scourge in check, but sweet jesus, each time I hear it I can’t help but think, “The Flying Dutchman must always have a captain!”
While I do look forward to Cataclysm, I still am not looking forward to watching Blizzard mishandle another awesome character into being the big bad End Game boss. Deathwing is a classic WC character. I personally think that if they screw up that encounter as well, they’ll loose more than a few fans. Seriously, they seem to forget the good guys don’t alwasy have to win. I mean they almost got it with the Halls of Reflection in which to get your reward and exp, you have to escape the Lich King rather than fight him. That at least let’s you have a chance to face him without losing an awesome character.
