What If…Agent Smith defeated Neo? (Revolution)

How would Agent Smith manipulate the Matrix to fit his needs?
Would the entire series of events start over again?
Would he try to take over Neo’s body?
What else would’ve happened?

Smith would infest the entire Matrix, and eventually take over the machines by flooding himself in their computer system. Then, the war would continue only he’d be in control of the machines, not the machines themselves.

it depends on when he killls neo if it is at the finale battle in the last movie all the humens would have died and the sentinels would soon sucome to the smith virus and the real world and matrix would be ran by smith

Tell me that creepy laugh scene after he pwnzinates the Oracle didnt send chills down your spine. This dude is a menace.

There are two possible scenarios. One, he kills Neo. The other, he absorbs Neo.

On the first scenario he would simply dominate the Matrix. This could possibly exterminate the machine’s energy source as he kills every person connected, or he could let the Matrix to continue functioning by spreading himself to every human.

That in turn could be two different scenarios. He could continue the war against the rest of the machines from both inside the Matrix, for obvious reasons, or from the outside by having “possessed” all humans connected.

He could also do the opposite, possessing all machines as opposed to the humans. It really would depend on what his new purpose is. Up to Neo, defeating the annomaly was his purpose.

After everything is dominated by the Agent, there exists the possibility that the annomaly would be reborn, but I dont think that would last long as the Matrix would no longer be what it used to be. It would just be Smith’s own “world Wide Web”.

The other scenario is for him to have absorbed Neo. This would equal complete and simple destruction of everything either human or machine had ever known. Instantly.

My best is that this whole scenario was the prequel to “V for Vendetta”

but that may just be the Hugo Weaving link they both share…

Actually, he did defeat Neo right?. Remember he turned Neo into one of his copy. Whatever happens, the story will still be the same. The purpose of their existence is to become one to reboot the matrix.

No offense Admin but did u watch the Matrix. Smith did beat Neo. If Smith would have attempted to kill Neo with out absorbing him Neo just wouldnt die their purpose is to be balanced and reset the matrix

Smith would proceed to eliminate humanity, and thus deprive himself of the matrix’s own power source. so something like suicide would happen.
