What would happen to the Luke and Leia?
Would Anakin continue down the path of the Dark Side?
What other implications would there be?

This would be huge!
Once Yoda kills the emporer, he would re-establish the Republic before Anikin can get back to Corescant. Once Anikin is there he would attempt to re-establish the Empire. It is hard to say if Yoda could beat Anikin, but Yoda would have the back up of the Clone Army, so I think Anikin’s coup would fail.
Now if he goes into hiding for a couple decades and trains up Luke and Leia, cause they would be in his possession, then tries for the coup, he might succeed.
Then you have his dream fulfilled with him ruling the galaxy with his progeny by his side.
Also since Anikin isn’t quite as good as Palpatine in the diplomatic and political parts of ruling an empire, I don’t think he would do a very good job. Eventually Luke and Leia would overthrow him. Assuming that they are still fairly similar to the characters they are in the canon, then they probably would team up and have Leia rule while Luke trains up a New Sith Council.
Either way, Padme still dies, which she totally deserves for being a continuity screw ball in the first place. Freaken “I’ll turn to the dark side because of love”…. god those movies sucked.

With Anakin as a leader, the Sith Empire would be nowhere near as succesful as it was with Sidious. It is debatable whether the Clone Troopers would follow through on order 66 without Sidious. It would take some time, but with Yodas leadership the Empire would eventually be restored.

Anakin kills Obi returns to Corasant fights Yoda, Yoda pwns Ankin restoring balance blahblahblah. Padme dies on Mustufa (spell?) along with Luke and Leia and the clones decide to follow Yoda who grows fat and impotent.
sorry about the spelling but the dictionary doesn’t know star wars related words.

Actually this would be quite cool.
Law and order restored and billions upon billions of lives would have been saved.
But there wouldnt be a nice story to make a movie out of.

Well, my guess is that Anakin, still blinded by rage and now without anyone to control him would either start a raid against the recovering Republic, or lash out against Corusant directly.
Attacking Corusant would get himself killed by Yoda, so that would end this rather quickly.
However, blindly attacking the weakened Republic might be a bit more effective, though as soon as Yoda would get a slight bit of the Jedi order back together, they would deal with Anakin.

George Lucas would be out of a shit load of money.

Hmmm…well this would have happened after Order 66 was issued so pretty much the Empire would be controlled by a whiny pre-pubescent teenager while Yoda runs from countless numbers of clones

The first thing that happened would depend on the loyalty of the Clone Troopers: Would they abandon Order 66 and become loyal to Yoda once Sideous died, or would they still serve the Sith? With Palpatine gone, Anakin would become the Dark Lord of the Sith. The Clone Troopers might decide that they now owe their allegiance to Anakin.
If that’s the case, a battalion of Clone Troopers would quickly fly to Mustafar to swear fealty to their new lord, just as Palpatine flew to him after his battle with Yoda in the movie. Padme would be taken into Imperial custody, and (probably on Vader’s orders) they would try to save her, and from there, pretty much the same thing happens as did when the Jedi tried to save her. They fail, but her twins are born. They are both raised to be Sith, rather than Jedi.
Anakin would take command of Imperial forces, and then there would be a power struggle with Yoda, who’ll be discouraged by Obi-Wan’s death but would still be determined to destroy the last of the Sith. He and Anakin meet again, this time as enemies. Anakin, knowing that the Jedi Master will be a formidable opponent, gathers the most elite squad of Clone Troopers, bounty hunters, and other individuals who can pose a small threat to a Jedi. They ambush Yoda and all attack him at once, he is defeated, but manages to escape to Dagobah. Anakin takes charge of the Empire.
And then, George Lucas gets bombarded by fan complaints that the end of the movie didn’t match up with the first three(IV, V, VI) at all!

Didn’t padme die because anakin died and she lost the will to live? If anakin raised the babies padme would be alive to watch them grow up or anger young Vader again and be killed that way.

No, Padme died because of stupid writers.
Seriously though it was Anikin’s turn to the dark side that did her in. He didn’t figure that out, fell to the dark side, and she died. Since this What If is after his descent, and after he thinks she betrayed him, I doubt that he will suddenly turn good, so she is still going to die. … probably, it is pure speculation after all.

I believe if he swallows the red pill, he will learn the truth (and realize he had sorta a crappy life) or swallow a blue pill and return to the world as he knows it (which is still crappy….).

it would most likely result in long bloody civil war since anakin is a capable battllefield commander with control of the majority of clone troopers and star destroyers but those not have the poltical power or overall miltary grasp sidous had so a rebellions would spring up all over the universe until anakin has been removed from power and the universe decides its about time the stop letting the people with the weird powers be in charge

Wow… so either way ur screwed. I would take red. Its my fav color lol.
There are many variables here. I believe that, being Sidious’s apprentice, Anakin would retain control. The rest comes down to tactics. It would be hard as hell to kill Yoda, however its not impossible. If Anakin came at it right, using the clones, he may be able to beat Yoda. Then there is the issue of Luke and Leia. Leia would probably still go to (insert planet name here, I forgot). Luke however either wouldn’t be put on Tatooine or he would live there, but never truly get involved with the war.
Anakin would retain his speed rather than lose it as he did in the movies. He would be a much greater threat in a lightsaber duel (as if he needed it). The biggest difference is (if Anakin killed Yoda) Anakin would have complete control over the Empire, having no superior. The Empire probably wouldn’t fall.
That’s just what I’m thinking.

Anakin saw sidious as his best hope to save Padme. With Sidious gone, Anakin’s primary motivation for turning to the dark side–saving his wife–would also be gone, his secondary and less motivating reason for turning to the dark side being a desire for power. With Anakin alive with Padme she likely will not die in childbirth.
With Sidious gone and Padme alive, Anakin has no reason to return. He and Padme would try to patch things up and live in isolation. Alternatively, Anakin could be very confident after killing ObiWan and may be thirsty for power. The road towards the dark side is not easily left. But I think the birth of the children and Padme’s survival would snap him back much like the near death of Luke did in ROJ.
Of course, Anakin is not out of the woods yet. Yoda thinking Anakin to be the last of the Sith would likely search for him and try to destroy him. It is unlikely that yoda will allow a erson as powerful as Anakin to live. His potential for evil is too great and his powers would continue to grow. At best Anakin spends his life in isolation with Padme and the children, which is exactly what he should have done when Padme offered it. He may have if Obiwan had not stowed away on padme’s ship.
