For the sake of argument, let’s say that Carnage not only ‘copies’ the powers for later hosts, but also amplifies them, like Venom did with Spider-man.
What impact would this have on the Marvel world?
Would the Avengers even be able to stop him?
Would anything even change in Warhammer 40,000?
What monstrosities would be produced when this Symbiote produces offspring?

He would be tougher to stop then usual but the Avengers have faced far more dangerous foes then Kharn(even if he was a bit more powerful then usual) and Sentry would have no trouble taking him down. Wahammer 40K would be the same as usual though.

I really don’t think much would change.
I don’t think the damage Kharn + Carnage would do in the Marvel universe would be that spectacular. Yeah, he’d go out on a savage rampage effortlessly killing civilians and street level heroes. But it’s only a matter of time before a meta-human comes along and puts up a fight, while guys at Sentry’s level probably wouldn’t have to put up that much effort as long as they stay away from Gorechild. The damage he’d cause would be nothing compared to that caused by Onslaught or the World Breaker.
In WarHammer… there’s already so much carnage. I don’t think adding another one would make much of a difference.

Ive never played whatever kharn is from but he seems to be some ultimate badass i think the symbiote would end up making him weaker.

Kharn the Betrayer is NOWHERE near the strongest being in Warhammer 40K, there are so many more powerful then him that it’s funny.

Symbiotes tend to increase the strength, speed and insanity of the host do they not?
They also add a number of unique abilities (Stretchiness, morphing hands, arms etc into weaponry, adapting old skills into something more destructive)
I’m going to agree with those above. It just wouldn’t make that much difference to either universe. Although the Rampage these two went on would be sheer slaughter, eventually one faction would take them down.
Now, if the entire world eater legion were to be caught by hosts, that could be interesting.

Would never happen.
Symbiotes stink too much of Tzeentch for the Blood God to allow his chosen legion to be infected by them. We would likely see a Legion-wide upgrade in the form of Daemonic Gifts being granted to all Berserkers.
I think that the entire legion getting Death Strike, Fury of Khorne, Hellblades, and most importantly, Blessing of the Blood God will deal with the alien spawns quite nicely. They will burn.

wo wo wo only khornes heralds and greater daemon get all that stuff. Berzerkers are problably imune already due to not having the right emtions. The symbiote makes the angry host take a more maniacal approach like targeting loved ones. When a berzeker gets angry it’s like texas chainsaw massacre only the guy with a chaisaw isn’t a cannible……welllllll……except on a certain chaos holiday.

In the latest, crappy codex this is true, but the new codex doesn’t leave space for the various legions. World eaters get all those but the Hellblades.
And I’m pretty sure berzerkers have exactly the right mindset for symbiotes.
As to the tzeentchian stench… I’d going to have to disagree. Symbiotes do nothing but increase the physically attributes of the host, as well as the psychoticness. Basically a living form of the Lobotomies that berzerkers undergo. As far as know anyway, plus as we all know, Warhammer 40k is colour co-ordinated, and Carnage is red with black. All he needs is a little bronze and people’d assume he’s a Khornate daemon anyway.

My thoughts were, basically, take one of the most viscous super villains ever and make him worse. Wouldn’t expect much to change in the 40k universe… but Spidey go splat splat is all I have to say about affect in the Marvel Universe.

Kharnage would be so badass that he’d simply have to stare at most of the other denziens of Marvel to reduce them to puddles of emasculated goo. Extending limbs? Imagine being able to swing gorechild at a range of 100 feet or having his already stupid durability augmented even further with Regenration.

a question: can the carnage one get unlodged by high sound like the venom version? This would mean that Noise Marines can take him out. Even then, Kharn would get angry….

I think that Kharnage would be even more badass then kharn and khorne would be happy on his throne. maybe khorne would even make kharn a daemon prince and that combined with carnage would pretty much kick marvals ass. All that would happen was a lot more blood on what kharnage attacks but the universe as a whole wouldn’t change much.

In 40k universe the amount of slaughter wouldn’t be really notice compare to what something like virus bombs or full daemon incursion can do. a question about carnage; other than amplifying the powers and giving people new ones, what else can he do?

also it would take aspects of kharn in its children so any one that joins with the new symbiote would become homicidal maniacs devoutly worshipping khorne so theoretically if it able to spawn quick enough it could lead to great number of people in the marvel universe becoming worshippers of khorne

The Red Colour of Carnage Is from Blood as in Cassidys Blood which he mutated with those two were bonded so perfectly that they referred to themselves as I not we like Venom so if the Carnage Bonded as well as to Kharn I think that Noise Marines wouldn’t be a problem like they would be for Venom
