Here’s a fight that could be over in three seconds or could last for quite some time. If the battle takes place in the Xena universe, it lasts for quite some time. If fought in Thor’s world, I think it would be be done in the blink of an eye.

Maybe he should stick to something more mundane, like sneezing on Xena and spontaneously atomizing every cell in her body, or just cleaving her in half with a backhand. He Wouldn’t want to destroy the galaxy by accident or something.

Thor would survive, just barely, after calling upon all of his Asgardian fortitude. After the battle’s over, maybe he’ll find a way to remove the horrific memories with the Odinforce or something.

Xena gives her ululating battlecry and hurls her O-shaped blade.
Thor swats it aside with Mjolnir. It whizzes by Xena, but she dodges it and it strikes a tree, felling the tree and crumpling her missile. She draws sword and charges! Thor gets a good look at the shrieking woman and mistakes her for Ulik the Troll. He puts all of his strength into his next hammer swing even as Xena swings her trusty blade. Xena’s sword shatters and the hammer finishes its swing, shattering Xena’s skull completely and spraying gore everywhere. Thor looks around for Loki. This has to be one of his tricks…
