Hello, Factpile! This is my take on things, as a response to the fail-filled Expert Zone. A little breakdown of the types of people you meet on our wondrous little site. Enjoy.

1. Fact piles (lol)
These people can not only remember every bit of information on every character ever imagined in all of time, but they can whip out that info at the least opportune moment.
Ex:
Masterchiefisgod117
Master Chief could defeat Darth Vader because he’s too strong to be affected by the force choke.
Iknoweverything666
Actually as seen in Obscure Star Wars Adventures #384, Darth Vader is capable of unleashing a “force pwn” which pwns all n00bs on the planet.

Never argue with these people, they will win. COUGH*triumvirate*COUGH

2. Liars
You’ll know it when you see it.
Ex:
Ecksbawkstation3
Spider-Man cannot defeat the Hulk as he does not have the required level of physical strength. Hulk gets this one.
Bob Idiotimp
Um… uh… Actually, as revealed in a top secret comic my brother who works for Marvel showed me, Spider-Man can still Hulk out, it wasn’t just a one time thing.
Ecksbawkstation3
Really? Let’s see a scan?
Bob Idiotimp

3. N00Bs
They know nothing about anything, but will defend Master Chief until the day they die.
Ex:
Illiteratemindreader
Master Chief can’t win in any way. Chaos Space Marines are 10x more advanced.
OMGHannahmontana!1!
No, Halo R a pritty kool gui. Eh kulls spase marines and doesn’t afraid of anything.
Illiteratemindreader
That makes no sense. Chaos Space Marines have weapons that could take down a scorpion with a single shot.
OMGHannahmontana!1!
Ur onley sayin dat cuz u r a fan boy.
Illiteratemindreader
You really remind me of someone.

4. Online Jocks
They are capable of leaving the gym! These are the guys who called you a nerd and flushed your head down the toilet in school. Or maybe you were giving THEM the swirlies and its payback time now that they can hide behind a computer desk.
Ex:
Ilovesportsandbabes
Hulk Hogan would beat the Hulk because he’s real and Hulk’s just imaginary. Like you people having a life! OH!
Intelligentbutcourteous
That isn’t what this site is about. Were they to meet, who would win?
Ilovesportsandbabes
Shut up nerd! I’ll pound your face in!
Intelligentbutcourteous
Really? How do you intend to do that, muscle head?
Ilovesportsandbabes
You only say that because you can hide behind your computer!
Intelligentbutcourteous
You remind me of someone…

5. 4Chan Users
The absolute and complete scum of the earth. These people will cause you to go An Hero. Should you hear the battlecry, BLOOD FOR THE /B/TARDS! Run. Cry. Repeat.
Ex:
Titsorgtfo34
Memes. Pedobear. Anon. /JB/. Over 9000.
Everydaynormalcrew
Do you ever say anything original? Or do you just parrot what you see on /B/?
Titsorgtfo34
Pool’s Closed. Enjoy your AIDS.

These are just a small part of the FP ecosystem, but they’re probably the most easily spotted. Next up, things people say to get out of a debate.

Now this could be a very useful set of articles. Also, filled with “lols” as i believe you crazy kids call them. Try a little less bitterness next time Thepocalypse and you’ll be on to a winner!

Good Article. Much better then that “The Triumvirate’s Royal Inquisition” article posted the other day. This is the best I’ve seen from Thepocalypse.

Just what we need, more bitterness and cross community flaming.

I’ll be in another room until you kids can learn to behave with just an inkling of civility.

This was a pretty amusing read, but as Space Marine said, a couple of ‘:’ would have been nice.

You forgot one group though, the Regulars, the ones that don’t fit in any of those groups…

I’ll be looking forward to your next article.

I also await your next article and I also prefere it to the earlier one. I supose L-W will come back with some sort of “well if you can’t understand it its not my fault” and fair enough but still… nice article. :)

Just so everyone knows, this was from waaaay back before the contest was even announced.
“Just what we need, more bitterness and cross community flaming.”
Taken in good humor, it’s a great thing. The sly references to the times Rob and I have butted heads, the gentle riffing on the Triumvirate, it’s all great when people can take it as it is.

“The sly references to the times Rob and I have butted heads”
    sly eh?

Well-written article, nice to read, but you could have done a little more with it

For example: What group does Cpt Olimar belong in?

Or… What makes Cpt Olimar so smart?

Maybe even…. Why is Cpt Olimar the best user on Factpile?
    Ect.

In all seriousness this was a great one to start with, solid yet with much room to improve. Awaiting the next one.

    Big mistake.

Hey, can i just say that not all 4chan users are like that, being one myself, i can say that 80% of them are, but not all. Please refrain from stereotyping, but yeah this information is great stuff :)

Hey Mata, you and the Triumvirate should get the individual images of your default avatars in robes from “The Inquisition” and make them your gravatars. It’d be neat since we’d still visually recognize you, but you’d have a unique look.

No, but thanks for the new meaning…it actually dates back to when I was in fourth grade because I tried drawing a tree and it came out as a thing of corn…so I drew a face, arms, and legs on it and that is how it became to be
