Dark Light
The Twilight Saga: New Moon (Movie Trailer)

I’m sure this movie will make a cool $100 million in the first 2 weeks. Millions of girls and women will drool and get excited at the continuation of this “saga”. Personally, I think I’ll pass.

    The books are bad.
    The movies are worse.

While I personally think the movies are decidedly mediocre, I’d take them over the books. At least when we’re watching, we don’t have Meyer’s severe lack of writing talent shoved into our faces.

As for this movie, I think I’ll wait until I can watch it for free online.

I would however pay to see a movie in which Blade the vampire hunter (played by Wesley Snipes of course) spends two hours hunting down and brutally killing all twilight vampires. I would laugh thoughout the entire movie and yell “YOUR SPARKLY ASSES GOT RAPED!!!!”

I would just pay to see every true vampire obliterate this so called vampires. Either that or just let Alucard torture them. I’m sure after a few hundred years hes picked up a lot of torture techniques.

what we need on here is a battle against the cullens that is on equal terms, i mean same amount of hunters as cullens

I would actually prefer, Spartan II’s against the Vampires from Twilight. Would be quite a show, watching the vampires being dumbstruck, by the humans who can match them on physical terms, and then getting their face struck off by the numerous ballistic weaponry of the UNCS….

    Here’s a team-

    Blade
Kharn (no Gorechild, too unfair to the Cullens)
    Wolverine
Nosferatu (the creepiest vampire I have ever seen)

I know you guys may bash the twilight series but the film was a well made perfectly good movie that can appeal to more than just girls.

That appeals to most audiences, I feel it use great cinematography, music and a well written script to deliver a great film.

“well written script” – And there lies the problem considering the book. Also the fact that the vampires sparkle…. seriously… who the fuck thought it was reasonably to have vampires with sparkly skin?

The entire premise of twilight, is about a 100 year old dead-man (well, vampires were humans after all), wanting to have sex with an underage girl…….yes, clearly a stroke of genius.

O.k the sparkling thing was a little unexpected for me but it may have some deeper meaning I don’t know.

anyway I’m not infected I just saw it was a good movie that can appeal to almost anyone, and I think its good there is another book that means another good film.

and plus has anyone actually watched the film properly paying attention rather then watching but not listening while you talk about how sh** you think it is with nothing but hatred and wrath in your hearts.

because it might turn out to be an okay film

I once read a bit of New Moon when I was waiting for a class and a borrowed it from a friend of mine (girl of course) and I read 5 pages from where she stopped. I laughed the entire time as that particular section was so full of teen angst and innuendo that I had a hard time believing it was a serious book and not a poor attempt of literature by a teeage girl with serious delusions about life and the world.

Side Note – That friend of mine is seriously annoyed every time I bring up the subject of the two main characters pressing against eachother on the side of a rock and the girl comments she feels something hard and is breathing heavily.

I never read the book I want you to judge it as a film which is the premise I judge it on.

Seen bits of it…. same problems. But, if you’re a girl that likes a bit of dark love, I guess it’s tolerable. The fact that is murders the concept of a true vampire is my main beef.

I know its not a conventional vampire film but don’t watch it with that in the back of your head, watch it all as a film and judge it as one.

I don’t see why that’s necessary. As I explained in great detail in the Blade + Buffy vs. Cullens thread, two hunters are plenty to take down the Cullen Clan.

My fiance decided to read the series, so naturally, I wanted to know what she was reading. I believe Stephen King was correct when comparing the two authors in an interview. According to Stephen, “Both Rowling and Meyer, they’re speaking directly to young people… The real difference is that Jo Rowling is a terrific writer and Stephenie Meyer can’t write worth a damn. She’s not very good.””

My god. Is it true?!?!?!? There are others besides me that believe twilight is a spit in the face of literature and film?!?!?!?

    YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My whole area is filled with hormonally confused teenage girls who rave over this shit-fuck of a series! I was dragged by my dick to watch the first movie and I was bombarded by the breath of 1000 teen females having synonomous orgasms at the worst parts of the movie. The ONLY reason I’m remotely considering seeing the next movie is for the possibility that Edward will get FUCKED OVER by a wolf (If my name didn’t give it away I’ll tell you all I have a thing for wolves bordering an obsession).

    Personally, I’d show no mercy

Kharne, hulk, galactus, vader, wolverine, link, batman, superman, mc, goku, Dr. manhattan, mario, luigi, sonic, and half the legedary pokemon vs the cullens, and I’m onlt considering this half overkill.

Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.
