Let’s say you hear a knock on your door, and once you reach out and hurriedly open it, a small package remains on your doorstep with no one in sight. You don’t know where it came from, or who even sent it. However, as you open the package, an inscription appears on the side written: “The Matchmaker.”
You read the instruction manual and find out it strangely enough has the ability to grant you a magically created human entity – but not any entity, rather, a lifelong mate.
As you turn it on, it gives you two choices:
Create
Or
Revise
If you choose “create,” the machine prints out a sheet of paper granting you human creation options for your mate.

Within a few days after completion, your mate meets you through (un)natural means (college, work, etc) and subsequently gains romantic attention toward you as a person. A few days later, your self-created mate becomes your girlfriend/boyfriend, then, through the natural process of relationship, becomes your spouse.
However, if you choose “Revise ,” the OP assumes you already possess a significant other and grants you the exact same options to revise your loved one.
