While I know there are many fans of Freeman and rightfully so, I just don’t think he would be able to bring enough to the table to get a victory over Samus.

For this match we have some restrictions for the combatants.

Duke has his usual weapons from his big 3-D game (minus the shrink-ray). Samus her weapon set from the original Metroid (Ice & Wave Beam, Missiles, Varia suit, energy tanks, screw attack, etc.)

The battle takes place in the the second episode of L.A. Meltdown: Red Light District.

Boba Fett:
EE-3 Carbine Rifle- he can reload it 100 times
Czerka ZX miniature flame projector- he can use it for a total of 10 minutes
BlasTech Dur-24 wrist laser- he can use it 150 times

Master Chief:
6x Fragmentation Grenades
4x Plasma Grenades
1x Assault Rifle with 1,000 bullets to reload
1x Battle Rifle with 600 bullets to reload
Mark VI Suit

The zombies can jump up to 25 feet in the air.

1,500 zombies, plus the 3 special “Boss” types.

The battle takes place in a Super Wal-Mart.

Tough match to determine the winner in my opinion. For the sake of battle, it takes place on a neutral planet, contained to a 25 mile area. They are aware of the others presence, but must first find their opponent. X has all of his subtanks and upgrades, the same with Samus.

Who can collect the bounty first?

Master Chief has a bounty on his head and he’s being hunted by Durge, Boba Fett and Samus on planet Tallon IV.

MC has been stranded on Tallon IV for 2 weeks so he knows the environment well. Master Chief has all his weapons and he has equipment for booby traps.
The hunters are not allowed to engage each other.
If he’s not captured/killed withing 48 hours he wins…but if 1 of the 3 hunters get him who would it be?

Note: Imagery was used as one possible scenario…

How would Fett handle the Metroids?
Would Samus work for the Rebels?
How would Fett deal with the phazon incident?

Fresh from their duel match against each other, Boba Fett and Samus are two of the most popular characters of this site going against an underground favorite (IG-88) and the always imposing Ridley.

While I don’t think Ridley would cause too much damage, IG-88 would be the one to cause the most trouble. In the end, I think it would go to Boba Fett and Samus, but not after an epic struggle.

Wow – epic match here.
I’m torn personally since I was a huge fan of Fett during my childhood years and thought he was the absolute coolest character in the entire Star Wars universe. But for as cool as he was, he was never playable as a video game character like Samus – and since I’ve beaten all the Metroids on all consoles (yeah, pathetic, I know) – I feel like I have a better handle on what Samus could bring. If I have to pick, I’ll go with Samus, but only by the slimmest of margins.

Here’s a match that could go on for quite some time – or be over in a heartbeat. Both combatants have a ton of experience to draw from and both can dish out a ton of punishment.

Many requests for this one. I have to admit that I’ve played more Metroid than Halo since I am an old fart, so I am inclined to lean towards Samus. As with any Hero, they all have intangibles that help them overcome seemingly daunting tasks. With that being said, MC has accomplished more in his “career” than Samus has, but this is a head-to-head battle of weaponry and skill…So, I think it’s be very close, the one thing that MC always comes away with – Luck – gets him the win…
