This is a battle that I knew had been coming for quite some time and couldn’t hold off anymore as I got soo many requests for this fight. Here we have Rand al’Thor from the Wheel of Time series up against Richard Rahl of the Sword of Truth/Legend of the Seeker universe.

For the battle we are using the book version of Rahl.

Rand has a power forged sword (unbreakable) and no power enhancing items. Richard has the Sword of Truth.

The battle takes place in the Aiel Waste.

Every reader of this site knows who I’m gonna take, what say you?

Well, here we have a Hall of Fame winner in Sir Dan Fortesque going up against the Admin’s favorite character from the Sword of Truth/Legend of the Seeker franchise, Richard Rahl.

Needless to say, I think it’s quite apparent who I will be siding with as well as we all know who Baron will predict a victory for.

So, this leaves the rest of the ‘Pile to determine the winner for this match.

I have to admit that I never heard of Kuchiki before this match, although I was somewhat up on the Bleach franchise. Going up against Richard Rahl, this should certainly make for a fun fight for all to see.

I think it’s fairly obvious who I’ll pick, so let’s hear how Kuchiki could win this fight.

For this battle, Rahl will have realized his War Wizard potential and have access to the Boxes of Orden. I am also only using the book version of Rahl. Even with all of that, I give my favorite character about a 5% chance to win this match.

I think the only way he could win is if he perceives Kahlan to be in danger and he conjures up some kind of spell that obliterates Alucard.

Other than that, I think the War Wizard is toast.

So, yeah the video is really lame and drawn out for a message that could’ve easily been accomplished in about 3 seconds, but I am one happy camper right now. I personally have 2 reasons why I think Goodkind is writing another novel about Richard and Kahlan:

1.) His venture into current fiction didn’t go all that well and he knows he has a loyal fan base with this series
2.) Legend of the Seeker has twisted his vision of the Sword of Truth world so much that he’s going to address some unsaid items in the new novel and set things straight.

So, as most of you all know, I am a huge fan of anything Legend of the Seeker. But, even I know when one of my favorite characters doesn’t stand a chance, and given who Rahl is up against, I doubt he’d find a way to win.

Even placing this match in Rahl’s world, I’m not sure there is a scenario where he could pull off an upset victory.

I know some of the video quality isn’t that great, but whoever put this together has some hardcore editing skills. On an unrelated note, right now for some reason in Google, this site is #3 if you search for “Richard Rahl” (no quotes). While it’s certainly fun and all, I’m a bit perplexed as to how the site got there. Not complaining, just sayin!

For this match, we are using the Richard Rahl from the Sword of Truth series, whereas Vin arrives from the Mistborn trilogy. While on the surface this might be a close match, I just don’t think Vin has enough to overcome Rahl’s magic, and experience using the Sword of Truth.

Here we have perhaps one of the most evenly matched battles to ever appear on FactPile. Both fighters are proficient with bows, both are excellent using the blade, and they can each wield magic. This is a tough match for yours truly since Link is one of the best video game characters of all time, and frequent readers here know that I am a total freak about the Sword of Truth/Legend of the Seeker franchise.

So dear reader, who wins this fight?

Here we have an interesting battle that has a pair of father and son teams. This battle takes place in a wooded area, similar to Endor. All combatants are aware of each other, and are only temporarily helping each family member. For the sake of this match, both Darken Rahl or Darth Vader are not pursuing their respective sons.
