This request has been asked for a few times, so if I didn’t credit properly, all apologies. Personally, I’ve always hated Yoshi, even when I get to use him to eliminate enemies as Mario rides him like a *******.

So for me it’s Mario FTW.

Perhaps the most famous gaming brothers of all time, here are the Mario Brothers facing off against each other for all the marbles. Or perhaps in this case, who gets Peach?

Which one would win?

Here’s an interesting twist to the Group Combat idea. For this match, it’s these particular players defending their respective representation – Kharn for Tabletop Gaming, Darth Vader for Movies and Juggernaut for Comics. On the other side, it’s Kratos for PS3, Master Chief for Xbox, and Mario for Nintendo.

Well, here are two creatures that are more of an annoyance than an actual threat. They come in numbers to get you off course. But matched against each other, which of these two would win?

From Serious Lunch, The Tonight Show backdrop looks “inspired” by the Mushroom Kingdom found in just about anything Mario.

When this idea was first suggested, the first thing I thought of was how funny it would be to watch characters respawn as they get pummeled by the opposing forces. There are soo many entertaining ways for all these characters to eliminate the others that I might just pay to watch that, no matter the outcome.

For this match, it’s Capture the Flag assault style – both teams are on offense and defense at the same time. First team to capture 3 flags win. Battleground – New York City. Team 1’s Flag is on top of the Empire State Building. Team 2’s flag is on top of the torch on the Statue of Liberty.

Rules: The flag locations cannot be destroyed or damaged in any way – if the opposing team even scratches the location, they automatically lose (gotta make this somewhat strategical). Citizens are not protected.

Which team would win?

Here we have two old foes from the past matched with some newcomers. Mario and Sonic have been battling for years and Crash came along to make some noise. I have to say that I haven’t played anything with Spyro so I don’t have an opinion that would count in that regard.

For this match, all power-ups are available from from each character’s series.

Who would win?

Not sure how this match lasts longer than five minutes. Maybe if the plumbers are just going against Robin, they could probably beat him down. But once that would happen, Batman would come in and flick them like a snotty booger.

Can the Mario Brothers stand a chance?

Two franchise characters face each other for bragging rights. While Mario may have the advantage in terms of more notoriety, I think Crash has more tools and options at his disposal. For the sake of this match, all powers and levels are to be factored into the results.
