Here is a “thinking man’s” battle. While I think we’d all agree that in hand-to-hand combat Batman would win, a contest of dueling wits would be a much closer fight. MacGyver is better at improvising whereas Batman is better at creating devices to counter his enemies at a later time.

For this match, the scenario would be a situation in which you had the choice of being captured with either one – and which one would you want to be with, giving you the best chance to escape…

When this was suggested, I knew it made sense. From a battle perspective, I think MacGyver gets creamed in hand-to-hand. However, on the field, his uncanny knack for getting out of sticky situations could give MC fits.
