While the series has appeared on FactPile before, this is the first time Eragon has officially participated in a battle. And for the first match it’s against site favorite Legolas from the Lord of the Rings series.

To make things somewhat balanced, the battle takes place just outside a wooded area: Legolas is emerging from the forest while Eragon is headed towards it. There are some ruins of a small outpost that provides some cover.

Making his debut on FactPile is Dumbledore from the Harry Potter franchise. I think I am the only person on the planet that hasn’t read a single book or seen a single moment of any of these films. So, I’m in no position to pick a winner.

For this match, the fight is on a neutral battlefield with grassy hills as far as the eye can see.

This is one of those matches you see and immediately start thinking about how cool it would be to see set up. But I think once you give it a little thought, the match ends pretty quickly, in my opinion. Leonidas and Spartacus would certainly put up a brave fight, but I think they are simply over matched in this fight.

This is a real tough fight for me. I am fans of both, and enjoy each character’s abilities and mannerisms. As much as I would like to see Aragorn come out on top, I think the best he’ll be able to do is to survive a few rounds.

This match should be judged on two levels. The first is based on their ability to use the sword. Unless you played Overlord, it might be hard to know the skills of both fighters. The second part is the leadership element.
