Here we have one of the most popular characters on FactPile in the form of Hall of Fame member Link from the Legend of Zelda franchise up against Eragon.

For this match, Eragon can’t use Death Words but has everything else.

With those powers not available to him, I think it’s Link’s match to lose.

Here we have a long overdue match. First of is Hall of Fame winner Link of the Legend of Zelda franchise up against Sora from Kingdom Hearts.

For this match, both characters have everything from all their games at their disposal.

The fanboy in me really wants Link to win, but I’m not sure it would happen.

Both are armed ONLY with the following equipment -

Jack: Adamantium katana, bow and a quiver of 24 arrows, 3 shurikens.

Link: Adamantium longsword, bow with a quiver of 24 arrows, 3 throwing knives

Location: Salt Flats (Borderlands) there are no raiders or Cromson Lance in the area to interfere with the fight.

Here we have perhaps one of the most evenly matched battles to ever appear on FactPile. Both fighters are proficient with bows, both are excellent using the blade, and they can each wield magic. This is a tough match for yours truly since Link is one of the best video game characters of all time, and frequent readers here know that I am a total freak about the Sword of Truth/Legend of the Seeker franchise.

So dear reader, who wins this fight?

Very cool match here. If you don’t know the origin of Aku, I’d suggest you read up on it now. That being said, *technically* Link shouldn’t be able to defeat Aku, but since Aku is evil, Link should have some equipment that could help him out.

For this match, both characters have access to all of their weapons and abilities. I see this match starting with a barrage of assaults on Link as he approaches Sauron. Sensing his abilities, Sauron would try to eliminate Link before he could move in close. If Link can make it, it’s game over.

Interesting pairing here. I think Link would face off against Gotrek while Dante and Gandalf would trade blows. Not sure which team wins…

Wander is the hero from Shadow of the Colossus game which probably had been a bigger hit if it had also come out on the xbox as well. Regardless, he makes for a great foe against Link. Both possess powerful swords and seem destined to always be helping some maiden.

I still think Link gets the victory, but not easily.
