Here we have one of the most popular characters on FactPile in the form of Hall of Fame member Link from the Legend of Zelda franchise up against Eragon.

For this match, Eragon can’t use Death Words but has everything else.

With those powers not available to him, I think it’s Link’s match to lose.

Here we have Eragon going up against one of my personal favorites in Drizzt.

The rules are:
Eragon doesn’t get death words or Saphira, because that would be unfair. He gets wards and anything else he can think of, like fireballs.
Drizzt doesn’t get Guenhwyvar or any allies but has the ability to use his darkness globes.

While the series has appeared on FactPile before, this is the first time Eragon has officially participated in a battle. And for the first match it’s against site favorite Legolas from the Lord of the Rings series.

To make things somewhat balanced, the battle takes place just outside a wooded area: Legolas is emerging from the forest while Eragon is headed towards it. There are some ruins of a small outpost that provides some cover.

Who wins?

Very cool match here. With both of these combatants able to inflict major blows, which one do you think would come away with the victory?
