While this battle certainly pits two practically indestructible beings against each other, Hancock’s weakness would be easier to exploit. And ultimately, he’d be toast once his other have was in range.
Superman for the EASY win.

Superman wins easily, he’s faster, stronger, more inteligent and has other abilities that Hancock doesn’t have. Plus he could just wait until Hancock gets drunk for an even easier win(I haven’t seen Hancock so I’m just going with what I know about the character so I might be wrong in some ways).

What, you think he could win because hancocks black?

I’t wont be easy to Keep Hancock’s other half in range. If she knew she was going to be used like that her powers would be more then equal to the task of putting as much distance between her and Hancock before it weakend him. Superman on the other hand reacts to Kryptonite far faster then Hancock does to the parring of himself and His other half and Kryptonite dose not fight back especialy not with super strength. Also Parring makes Hancock mortal while exposure to Kriptonite is painfull and in the long run lethal. Advantage Hancock.
Overall Still Undecided

I guess my onlu qualm with your theory is the fact that Superman would have to know about Hancocks weakness… And even Hancock didn’t know, remember? And almost everybody knows about Superman’s weakness. So in reality, it may actually be easier for (a sober, give-a-shit) Hancock to take advantage of superman…

Just to be sure
Is this Movie Superman were talking about, or is this the comic’s New Earth Superman?
I think it should be Movie Version only, to keep it relatively… fair?…

Superman has better feats.
Hancock is a walking fallacy.

Also, I’m not merely saying Superman loses. More of a “Hancock has less of an Achilles heel” sort of deal. Superman does indeed seem to have more advanced powers in general- Icebreath, laser vision, the ability to fart tornados. (Wait…did I just say that?) Hancock has the mazing abilty, however, to be totally likable despite the fact that he is an immense dick. There are days I would t’e that power over laser vision anyday.

Hancock’s weakness is much easier to overcome. Kryptonite is more common, and it can’t run away to keep Superman out of danger. Advantage: Hancock.
BUT this doesn’t necessarily mean he wins either.

Superman.
As far as I know, Hancock isn’t faster than light or able to lift millions of tons. May be wrong though.

Alright, my partial matchup here. I think that Hancock would win based solely on the fact that he can cause one man’s head up another man’s ass without killing either one.

Exactly…..

I know it’s just flamebait but still… jeremy birch and Pvt Elite no one is saying Hancock is losing because of the color of his skin, the simple fact is just that Superman has done feats that overtrumps that of Hancock on all the powers that Hancock seem to posses and Superman has an addition of several more powers like heat vision.

May be a little off-topic, but am I the only one that thinks that Hancock is a Marvel’s Eternals severely flawed ripoff? I just see far too many similarities. Specially with the story written by Neil Gaiman.

Yeah, the over lapping of humanism…..Much better if he draw a picture of himself lying on a bench and drinking a brandy on the other side of the moon…..
“Um, Super man. Im pretty sure he can beat hancock.”

this fight goes to superman also superman has alot more wisdom over hancock even tho hancock would put up a good fight superman would win in the end also hancock i dont think hes in the superman level of strength i think hes close to it but superman lifted a HUMONGUS island made of kryptonite into the sky and sent it off into space also couldnt he just use his freeze breath or heat vision or his super speed i mean its superman for petes sake hes got more power more wisdom and more battle experience example doomsday and i dont think hancock could bring it like doomsday or darksied and hancock could easily beat many of the other charecters on this site example MASTERCHIEF ha
but he couldnt beat superman also hancock aint some detective or anything he dont know about kryptonite also i red some of the rules of the factpile vs arguments if its not mentioned they cant get it so hancock dont have acces to kryptonite so yup superman wins hancock loses dont you all agree ? HA

I was under the impression that Hancock was immortal. Like in the most unfair sense of the word. As long as he’s not with that chick. Superman ages. That’s like a “bigger picture” kind of advantage. Superman is proven fast, but unproven stronger. So I’ll say they’re strength is on equal terms. But hancock is immortal. Superman is just a tough alien.
August 25, 2009

It depends on Hancocks strength.
Unless it has been proven that Hancock has the same planet moving potential that Superman has,I’d say Superman can win this.

Have to disagree with that point admin. One woman is a lot harder to find than the gree rocks that fell to earth with superman. The sheer rate at which they they are discovered suggests that the entire planet blew out directly towards earth

Immortal does not mean you can not be killed. Just means you won’t die of old age.
Now, Invincible means you can’t be stopped or hurt. Superman has been shown to live until the 853rd century (DC One Million. Superman would destroy Hancock with his planet-moving strength, FTL speed, and smarter intelliect. I see no way for Hancock to win.

Hancock. Although he has almost no feelings, and is often drunk, He has to have someone brought near him. Superman needs to have a rock….. Plus, If the Girl found Hancock, wouldn’t she help him? It would be like two Hancocks. Superman may have other things, but proving that when they are together they make tornadoes….
Plus, Hancock does not need oxygen. How else would he be able to stay on the moon to make the heart?

“Immortal does not mean you can not be killed. Just means you won’t die of old age.”
Untrue. Immortal means your are not susceptible to death by any means. That does include old age, but it also includes any other means of being killed. It wasn’t elaborated on (besides some in ancient civilizations considering them angels or gods), so we should assume it is the absolute sense.
That is of course excluding his single weakness, which is virtually a non-factor here. All in all, I’d say Hancock.

Well just to, hopefully, deal the final blow, the rules do state contestants can get a partner if themeans of getting to them is within reason so let’s say supes overpowers him, hanckock flies to angel to get her help and BOOM you have supergirl meets storm plus superman meets a drunk for the man o’ steel to deal with. I love supes but I love will smith more. Hancock for the fp award por favor?

Immortality: Commonly thought of with invunerability. While someone can have both, they are standalone powers, not one and the same. An immortal can live forever, as in old age does not affect him. If John the Guy Who Can Live Forever With Immortality gets hit by a bus, he dies. Unless he’s got invunerabllility too. Some chaacters in comics are like this, some must be killed in specific ways (like they have a HEALING FACTOR), some might be invunerable to old age, which is the standalone power
Invunerability: Nothing can penetrate you, nothing physical at least. Sometimes used with immortality to create characters who simply cannot die. This is also a standalone power used oftenly, so more explaination is not needed.
A good example of this are the evles of middle-earth. They were granted immortality by Ilúvatar, yet were able to be killed in warfare. Superman on the other hand, has invulnerability from most physical attacks. But he is not granted immortality. Hope that helps mate.

WTF you guys have to even think or ponder wonder and guess superman is the hands down winner period OK he turned back time flew almost to the sun to discharge all nuclear weapons and drilled himself to the bottom of the Earths crust and then lifted a CONTINENTAL PLATE much heavier than any Kryptonite island shit yall just to young to remember or have never watched the movies plus he made a diamond out of coal within seconds so superman can conjure heat anywhere he wants to aint no hancock or his girl can hinder superman also remember if hancocks girl tried to help they would both die end of discussion.
