Street Fighter Vs Tekken

Suggested by JerkwithNoName
For this particular fight, it will take place in a seven story office building. The Street Fighter team starts on the roof, and the Tekken team is on the first floor. There are two elevators that are functional, but can easily be disabled. Two sets of stair on opposite sides of the building.

Which side wins?

my good sir I wouldn’t count the street fighters out they have some crazy fighters as well such as shin akuma, evil ryu, and vilent ken. Not to mention a huge ammount of fighters from over the years.

and now more humor: dan hibiki running into a croud of tekken fighters and gets beaten by everyone.

alt. ending to humor: dan runs in head first into the tekken fighters beats all of them(by dumb luck), gloats and then gets hit by a raging demon for no apparent reason what so ever.

Street Fighter hands down. Why? They simply have more fighters, every one of them have the ability to throw some form of projectile, each has the strength to break said building down, most are fast enough to dodge bullets, and they have akuma. That in itself is a automatic victory do to him having the strength to sink an island with a single punch from his fist.

Just as Chewie has said, Pandas FTW.

Akuma at his full potential can destroy an asteroid on his own. He can also survive several atmospheres of pressure easily. Even according to SNK, he can access the afterlife by sheer force.

And let’s not forget Gill’s ability to resurrect himself and Seth’s ability to create a FRIKKIN BLACK HOLE!

Quite frankly, as much as I like Heihachi, Tekken doesn’t stand much of a chance against Street Fighter. Heck, how many Tekken fighters have the ability to throw a fireball?

A better fight would be Tekken Vs Virtua Fighter, at least a select few to ensure numbers wouldn’t be the deciding factor.

@Baron-I assume your talking about Yoshimitsu. His weapon is not a lightsaber its an energy blade. Second and most importantly his weapon would be completely useless against the oppenents he will face. They can simply let Ryu get posessed by the power of the Dark Hadou and let him loose on the forces of Tekken. They’d all be dead in 20 minutes depending on if they stand and fight. When in this state Ryu has the power to disintergrate androids made out of solid steel with ease. Akuma sinks islands with his fists. Bison would obliterate the entirety of Tekken by himslef as well. This match is completely one sided.

Guess its about time I actually comment here, huh? Well, first off I’d just like to thank admin for any and all requests of mine he’s taken.

Secondly though, this fight isn’t as one-sided as it seems at first glance. Have any of you seen the opening videos and trailers for Tekken?! Definitely the Mishimas are not people to take lightly. In the opening for Tekken 5, Heihachi and Kazuya take on a crapload of cyborgs… and KICKS THEIR METAL ASSES! (After having their own asses kicked, no less!) In the opening for Tekken 6, when Jin and Kazuya are about to meet fist-to-fist, the force of their punches shatter ALL the glass of the skyscraper their on.

Then you have bosses like Jinpachi Mishima, True Ogre, and Azazel… well, they can certainly pwn the weaker Street Fighters as badly as Bison, Akuma, and Gill can pwn the weaker Tekken fighters. And face it, Ryu and Jin are practically evenly matched (especially Evil Ryu and Devil Jin).

I mean, I’d still have to go with the Street Fighters (especially since in this scenario, Akuma can just destroy the building the Tekken fighters are on, effectively killing quite a few of them) but some of their opponents are gonna be trouble to put down.

Damn, no need to get so technical about it, if it behaves and looks like a lightsaber then it is one to me

    @JerkwithNoName-No it is really one-sided.

    1. Out of all the Tekken characters only 3 have ranged attacks as far as I know since I haven’t played six yet. Every character in street fighter has multiple ranged attacks of varying power. They could take this at range if they so desired.

    2. Since Tekken is more growned in realism then Street Fighter is there is a severe hamper on their abilities and damage output. Street Fighter however is not therefore the damage dealt by each character can be severe down to the joke characters like Dan.

    3. Ryu and Jin are not matched in any form. Ryu is stronger, faster, and can attack from greater range. Besides that he’s a more skilled fighter who can simply vaporize Jin with one shinku hodouken which he now has the ability to throw with one hand. As for Devil Jin and Ryu posessed by the Dark Hadou Ryu wins no contest. Devil Jin is pretty strong in this state and can fly but Ryu’s strength and speed is too far increased not to mention when in this state he will try to win by any means necessary unlike when he’s in his normal state and holds back.

    4. The cyborg I’m talking about is not your average cyborg. This thing was created by taking all the abilities of characters in a tournament and infusing them into him, and then taking Ryu’s Dark Hadou and infusing that in him as well effectively making an almost unstoppable killing machine. If this thing is included then the Tekken fighters are doomed in ten minutes since it can only be stopped by Ryu using the light side of shatoken fighting style.

If Tekken has Devil Jin & Jiinipachi, well the Street Fighter has this this:

    Evil Ryu
    Evil Ken (SNK VS Capcom)
    Super Akuma
    Gouken
    M. Bison
    Seth
    Mech Zangief

Yeah I like Tekken a lot better. But aside from maybe a select few that would even stand a chance (Devil characters, maybe Brian Fury and Jack) the vast majority of the Tekken crew are just highly trained martial artist practitioners. The Street Fighter club is a group of highly trained martial artists as well, but they can all shoot energy beams and breathe fire.

So as much as it sucks to say it, Street Fighter would probably take this in a fight.

You do realize that Azazel is just another name for The Devil, right? And Jinpachi has a mouth in his stomach that shoots black fireballs? And that Heihachi can catch bullets with his mouth(which is kinda irrelevant because there aren’t any guns in street fighter)? That’s INSANELY powerful!!!!!!!!!! Not to mention the fact that Unknown, Mokujin, and that robot in tekken 4 can all copy the abilities of their foes. Dark Ryu? Done. Evil Ken? Destroyed. Bison? TRASHED!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh yeah, because there are a lot of grizzly bears that know kung-fu in real life!
There are a lot of cyborgs, androids, clones, and robots who can speak and punch you in the face in real life!
There are a lot of angry devilish bird-like-looking-things in real life!
There are plenty of 75 year old men with the ability to catch bullets in their mouths in real life!
And there are SO MANY of those 29-year-old men who sprout black wings and horns and shoot lasers out of their foreheads in real life!

    @fanfan19
Don’t forget that Jin himself is very powerful.
Kazuya has mastered the Devil state, meaning he can go into and out of the Devil state at will. Jin hasn’t, but from what I remember, after the battle in Hon-Maru he destroyed an entire forest, meaning he’s quite powerful but is unstable.
Lets not forget NANCY-MI847J that huge-arse robot chick(?).
And I thought Lars was pretty powerful too…
Still, SF has a pretty good chance, probably a better chance.
Admin, even though it probably wouldn’t make a huge difference, is the Tekken Force allowed to participate, or is it strictly “named” characters?
