Even though Sephiroth can inflict a ton of damage, I don’t think he’s walking out of this match. Alucard just brings soo much to this match for it to go on for a long time.
What say you?

I…………………………………………………………………think………………………………Alucard.
In his standard form Alucard would lose, but if he does the cromwell invocation and lifts his power restrictions, he basically turns into……..well………hell on legs. I’m pretty sure Alucard could beat most space marines in his cromwell invocation.
I would love to see this animated, really. I’m gonna say alucard for now.

Alucard can basicly turn to something that can destroy the devil from existence( in my view) but not much is really known since Hellsing is only 13 episodes long..In regular form though he will be obliterated by Sephi and can only be ressurected by a spell that the family he guards yells… so It will be one hell of a fight

Alucard doesn’t have a close range weapon, so Masamune could do a heap of damage here. And bullets won’t phase Seph, he’ll slice ‘em in half.
Heres a l’il info on FFVII’s Badboy:
He is so powerful that not even a system of planets could stand in his way. His powers are the following: shadows, clones, fire, ice, light, gravity, mirror, moon, teleportation, flight, heal, barriers, energy balls, laser beams, shock waves, meteors, and speed faster than the speed of sound and light. His strongest attack is Supernova. He destorys a couple of planets then fuses them with the sun and wipes out Mercury and Venus. His last form has his right arm replaced with a wing. He uses it as a sword and six colorful wings where his feet used to be. His sword is called the legendary Japanese sword Masamune.
AC Sephiroth infected the lifestream, took over, and had control over it. Lifestream is the power source to everything on the planet; he who possesses it can do anything he wants and make eveything made up of lifestream. Sephiroth created the Three Silver-Haired Men, and used Jenova’s voice to guide them his true speed and power have not yet been seen, but considering Loz is just a weak remnant of Sephiroth and how fast his speed is, one can guess at how fast Sephiroth truly is. Basically AC Sephrioth has the power to do anything he wants; like he said, “He will change the planet into his own vessel and soar the cosmos,” meaning he is capable of transforming the entire planet into his own personal ship and raiding other planets.
AC Sephiroth is 100% Jenova. He became the new Jenova and he has ALL of her powers, including Super speed, 100% over all J-cells, intangibility, and super strength.
Sephiroth also has extreme willpower/telekinesis, and he is capable of bringing down buildings with a thought. In Final Fantasy VII he held back Holy with his willpower throughout the game. Holy is so powerful that it is capable of destroying the planet. Sephiroth held that and contained it throughout the game.

Aklucard can’t be stopped unless he’s tricked into believeing he doesn’t exist. Which while he may be totally insane he’s not dumb at all. Those powers you metioned will slow Alucard down but they won’t stop him in the long run.
Even destroying the planet won’t do anything becuase he will just regenerate and then Sephiroth is in even more trouble becuase since Alucard’s dead he can fight in space due to his supernatural powers.
His newest and most dangerous power is:
Alucard upon his return 30 years after the Millennium incident that he has acquired the ability to control Schrödinger’s powers of quantum reality manipulation. He states that he is “everywhere and nowhere” as Schrödinger used to describe himself. If this is true, it would mean that Alucard is truly immortal in all senses of the the term, now utterly unable to be killed because, like Schrödinger, his existence is now solely determined by how and where he wishes to be.
He is now totally immortal and all powerfull.

@Battra Boy- Yeah yeah thats all very nice and all but Alucard is a TRUE immortal. All of Sephiroths abilities will mean nothing against a man that can regenerate from a pool of blood, can control the shadows and darkness, can summon MILLIONS of familiars, and has absolutley no weakness what so ever. Sephiroth would have to kill Alucard millions of times to which against someone with alucards powers is impossibel. But heres a list of all of Alucards abilities. Take of it as you will.
Immortality: Like other vampires, Alucard is immortal in that he does not age. It is nearly impossible to injure him in any way that actually compromises his health.
Regeneration: Alucard’s ability to regenerate is greater than any other vampire’s in Hellsing. His regenerative abilities appear to be without limit; upon receiving extreme damage, his body reverts to a shadow-like matter that appears to be his basic structure and reforms. He cannot die from being decapitated or staked through the heart as most vampires.
Superhuman senses
I
ncredible accuracy: Alucard can hit targets at great range using handguns while looking the other way.
Superhuman strength: Extent is unknown, but Alucard can physically rip humans apart with ease.[1]
Superhuman speed: He can move faster than can be seen.[1]
Intangibility: The ability to pass through solid objects.[2]
The ability to defy gravity to an uncertain limit.[3] He leaps impossible distances and travels up vertical surfaces.
Manipulation of shadows into physical form.
Shapeshifting: Alucard can transform into bats, insects, snakes, hellhounds, other human forms including a little girl,[4] and an amorphous mass of darkness. He has four known human forms each with different characteristics. He seems to be able to harden his body to such a degree.[5].
The ability to control the weather to an unknown limit, as demonstrated when he covered Dover in fog while aboard the H.M.S. Eagle.
Teleportation
Telekinesis: he made a half-destroyed aircraft cruiser move towards Britain. This power may also have been employed against Nail-Anderson, as seen when Alucard shatters Anderson’s blade and then burns the thorns surrounding him (Alucard) without being seen to physically destroy them.
Telepathy: In the anime, Alucard can speak telepathically to anyone, but in the manga, his telepathy appears to be limited to his fledgling.
Mind reading: In the television series, Alucard can read the mind of anyone he chooses. In the manga, this power does not appear to be demonstrated.
Mind control or hypnosis
Summoning familiars: the souls of those whose blood he has sucked either sprout from his body or swarm about him as an army numbering in the thousands. These familiars can include animals such as horses and the weapons and abilities that the familiars possessed in life. This ability can only be used when his last seal is released. This storing of souls serves as a backup against attacks that he normally cannot regenerate against (when Nail-Anderson nearly cut Alucard in half, it destroyed hundreds of Alucard’s familiars but did him no lasting harm). According to the last chapter, Alucard possessed over three million souls after the Millennium attack, and has since killed them off in order to exist with Schrödinger’s abilities.
The ability to absorb a person’s soul through their blood and consequently gain their knowledge and memories. He can also absorb blood through his clothes and skin.
Hibernation: Alucard survives long periods of time without consuming blood. After absorbing Schrödinger, he eats nothing for 30 years but appears normal upon his return, albeit hungry.
Apparent immunity or great resistance to the weaknesses most vampires possess. He is not compromised by sunlight or silver. It appears that the only weapons capable of harming him to any real extent are the most holy of Christian artifacts, such as Father Anderson after augmenting his abilities with Helena’s Nail. This augmentation may be also a result of the Hellsing family’s experimentation, as Count Dracula supposedly possessed all of the typical vampire weaknesses (garlic, silver, holy artifacts). Count Dracula had no weakness to fatal weakness to sunlight, but could not use certain powers in it (shapeshifting, moving through solid objects, etc).
The ability to sense supernatural activity. In The Dawn, Alucard knew the Captain was a werewolf the moment he saw him.
Centuries of combat experience. While he usually crushes his opponents with sheer power, he does at times use strategy. When he fought Alhambra, Alucard used shadow duplicates to distract him, allowing Alucard to close the distance between them and deliver the deathblow.
Note: While currently unconfirmed, it is implied by Alucard upon his return 30 years after the Millennium incident that he has acquired the ability to control Schrödinger’s powers of quantum reality manipulation. He states that he is “everywhere and nowhere” as Schrödinger used to describe himself. If this is true, it would mean that Alucard is truly immortal in all senses of the the term, now utterly unable to be killed because, like Schrödinger, his existence is now solely determined by how and where he wishes to be.

Isn’t Alucard pretty much omnipotent and omnipresent by the end of the manga? Doesn’t he have to think that he himself does not exist in order to be permanatly killed or else he will just pop back up in a second or two?
Also Sephiroth’s Super Nova attack is both his strongest and weakest attack. Many people omit the part that the attack only causes the target’s current HP to loose a significant fraction therefore the lower the target’s current HP the less overall strength of the spell; the attack itself is incapable of causing a kill. Oh and it is an illusion anyways (the animation of it at least, not the damage dealt on target), otherwise Sephiroth wouldn’t be able to cause the sun to explode multiple times in a matter of minutes.
When was Sephiroth ever intangible?

Alucard is easily capable of most of those things accept elemental magic. He never needed a close range weapon, he just tore people apart with hi bare hands. He fought a guy who used magic playing cards, Alucard tore his arm off after they met blows, His arm plowed through the card and then the rest of the other fellow’s arm. All damage to Alucard’s limb was immediately healed.
I don’t know how much this counts for, but after consuming warrant officer Schrodinger’s blood, he gained the ability of quantum reality manipulation. The character was a cat boy based off the thought experiment known as Schrodinger’s cat, conceived by Erwin Schrodinger. Quantum reality manipulation is the ability to recognize you’re self to the point where you can control reality regarding yourself. Alucard is everywhere and nowhere, if he believes he is alive he is, if he believes he is in a certain place, he is.
Fun fact: after consuming Warrant officer Schrodinger’s blood, Alucard had to kill and drain three million people’s soul’s he consumed in order to recogniize himself and gain Schrodinger’s powers.
While that is not completely confirmed, it implies that Alucard is now immortal in every way, if he believes he is alive, he is. Through this ability, Sephiroth would be incapable of killing Alucard

^ The comment about Sephiroth you made is a fact, if you get hit by a meteor and a supenova let me know. Anyway, Seph also could use “Sin Harvest,” on Alucard, most likely resulting in a devestating defeat for the Vampire.

Is Sephy’s supernova attack a real super nova? If it was then he would only really be able to use it once since everything would be destroyed. That begs the question about whether Sephiroth needs to breath as there is no oxygen out in space. So that kind of attack would kill Alucard……once. Even without schrodinger’s abilities he has about 3 million lives that function much like they would in a video game. Also since he is undead air is not a problem for him.
Also is Sephiroth bullet proof? Even if normal fire arms dont work on him the JAKAL is a practically a hand cannon that is desinged to kill regenerating and heavily armoured enemies. If this is with Schrodingers abilities then its impossible for Sephiroth to win as just needs to think he wasnt hurt and he is fine.

@Battra Boy- I just made it plain and simple that Alucard can NOT die unless he wants to. The only way for him to be defeated is for himself to believe he does not exist. Secondly about Sephiroth’s super nova attack.
1. It is Sephiroths both strongest and weakest attack in that its damage depends on your current hp. If you have near full health it will do uber damage to you. If you have low hp it won’t kill you and will do very little damage.
2. The nature of this attack makes me believe that its an illusionary magic kind of like what Freddy Kruger does. I’ve come to this conclusion because first its scientifically impossible for him to pull off multiple super novas because a super nova is a sun exploding. Second a sun can only explode once not 20 times. Third if it was an actual super nova not only would Cloud and his buddies be destroyed but also the planet and most of the solar system with them. Instead the ground is not even scorched which leads me to believe that the damage is illusionary which means the damage itself is real but the attack itself is not and is only in the minds of the recipients of the attack.
Now I give you the fact that Sephiroth is very powerful but he simply cannot hold a candle to the power of Alucard. There is nothing he can do to permenantly put him down while Alucard can take his soul, gun him down with those oversized guns of his, rip him to pieces, summon thousand of familiars to rip him apart, destroy him with his own shadow, use his vast arsenal of transformations, and many other things that Seph cant counter. He can read his mind to know what move he will make before he does it. Now I’ve provided actual evidence of why Alucard will win. Now its your turn and I don’t want your opinion this time.

I have provided fact, your posts are far more opinionated than mine.
Such exampes incude;
“nothing he can do to permenantly put him down while ”
“I’ve come to this conclusion because first its scientifically impossible for him to pull off multiple super novas because a super nova is a sun exploding.”
“If you have near full health it will do uber damage to you. If you have low hp it won’t kill you and will do very little damage.” <— please note, thats for gameplay purposes, if Seph pulled off a real supernova.. Final Fantasy VII would be the sorst game ever. You'd turn it on and get supernovad.
"Third if it was an actual super nova not only would Cloud and his buddies be destroyed but also the planet and most of the solar system with them." <—– once again, gameplay purposes.
Were you not listening? Seph can slice bullets in half whilst they are still in the air, Seph's powers also include that of shadows so Alucard's shadow powers are moot. Alucard would rip Seph in half? Yeah, okay… suuuuuuuure (sarcasm) You can't rip a man in half whom weild a twelve foot magic swords like a feather. Masamune can also fight by itself. Thousands of familiars? Seph can create clones of himself. Seph's true abilites have also never been witnessed.
Alucard can only die if he believes he can? "Shall I give you despair?"
Can Sephiroth answer Alucard's final wish of death? Hell yeah!

@Battra Boy- My posts don’t have an ounce of opinion to them and your last post was full to the brim with bullshit. Lets take a look.
“please note, thats for gameplay purposes, if Seph pulled off a real supernova.. Final Fantasy VII would be the sorst game ever. You’d turn it on and get supernovad.”
That is your opinion that it is gameplay mechanics but do you have any proof or even a hypothesis? I do and like I said before Sephiroth has power that involve the mind like mind reading and telekenesis. As such he could also plant images into other being minds. Characters like Freddie Kruger and even Artemis Enteri can use illusionary magic to hurt you with your own imagination in being that the attack itself is not real but the damage itself is. Why do you think that super nova is the only magic attack in the game that fluctuates with your current hp level?
“Were you not listening? Seph can slice bullets in half whilst they are still in the air, Seph’s powers also include that of shadows so Alucard’s shadow powers are moot. Alucard would rip Seph in half? Yeah, okay… suuuuuuuure (sarcasm) You can’t rip a man in half whom weild a twelve foot magic swords like a feather. Masamune can also fight by itself. Thousands of familiars? Seph can create clones of himself. Seph’s true abilites have also never been witnessed.”
Alright I’ll give the ineffectiveness of guns against Sephiroth even though Alucard’s guns is about as big as your arm, use .223 round amunition, and have infinite ammo but fine you can keep that. But since when can Seph control the shadows? Maybe I forgot but as far as i can remeber he couldnt do that but whatever it doesn’t matter.
“Alucard can only die if he believes he can? “Shall I give you despair?”
Can Sephiroth answer Alucard’s final wish of death? Hell yeah!”
Alright now I’m convinced your a fanboy. Did you read the above posts? Well if you didn’t here it is and read it slow this time and soak in every word.
While currently unconfirmed, it is implied by Alucard upon his return 30 years after the Millennium incident that he has acquired the ability to control Schrödinger’s powers of quantum reality manipulation. He states that he is “everywhere and nowhere” as Schrödinger used to describe himself. If this is true, it would mean that Alucard is truly immortal in all senses of the the term, now utterly unable to be killed because, like Schrödinger, his existence is now solely determined by how and where he wishes to be.
There you go. Alucard has untop of his vast collection of powers now has the ability of quantum manipulation. He can be anywher AND everywhere he wishes. Even how he wishes to be which means he can change his form into that of anything or anyone he wishes. That leads to an interesting prospect because if Alucard wishes he can change into cloud or hell he can change into Kharne the Betrayer and that=epicroflcurbstomp!!1!!1111!! Fanboy banter aside there’s nothing Sephiroth can do to counter that. Now I’m waiting for you rebutal.

sephiroth has an immense amount of experience with making people doubt themselves. His way with words is astounding, if he can make cloud beleive that he is a worthless son of a bitch then he can sure as hell make an insane as fuck vampire believe he doesn’t exist.

@Dracospinx-What you said there is pure speculation with evidence to back it up. Cloud is your typical emo japanese made character. Dark, feminine, and self doubting. It would have been an easy feat for Sephiroth to break Clouds spirit. Now take a look at Alucard. He’s twisted, cocky, sociopathic, and has the utmost confidence in himself. He breaks guys like Spehiroth on a regular basis for fun. Don’t even compare Cloud to Alucard mentally as they have to very different personalities. But my evidence stil stands untested as there is now way for Sephiroth to permanantly kill Alucard while Alucard has many ways to obliterate Sephiroth.
July 21, 2009

@DracoSphinx
Trying to trick Alucard into believing he doesn’t exist is like saying you humans can make the universe implode by using a can of tuna.
The sad fact is that Sephiroth can’t stop Alucard. If Sephiroth uses the super nova attack and it blows up, Alucard would just be standing there looking bored while Sephiroth head explodes from disbelief.
Fact: Alucard can’t be stopped! If you tried to use anything against him he’d just rise back up and kick A$$.
Also Alucard said that the only thing that could beat him is human. Sephiroth is not a human being. He is definatly not human and therefore Alucard won’t let him kill him.
Fact: Sephiroth can’t kill, break, or destroy Alucard in any way to win this fight

@midnite marauder your the real fan boy you say theres nothing sephiroth can do to kill alucard your implying that sephiroth cannot do anything to alucard as he is a being that exists the same as sephiroth. if supernova were to happen you say alucard will use his quantum abilities to be some where he wants. alucard can only wish to be a place that exists in his mind. he cannot be in a place he doesnt know you cannot think in your mind random objects and envirements if it does not exist. in dreams we tend to think of these places citys buldings trees forests etc that are not real but real in our head but does not exist. Schrödinger’s abilies he obtained states if he wishes to be some place he will be there. if super nova was illusionary then alucards mind would see everything destroyed being no where else to go creating the illusion he is not there. he can see space in his mind and want to be there but that doesnt mean he will. you can think of a random black background in your mind and think its space but its nothing. alucard does not no every spec of everything in existence he is not a god his ability does not contract with himself. your basic facts are not all right but you add fanboy critics and saying things like he will have to kill him a million times they mean nothing. your points for adding his abilities do not show his defeat for sephiroth and not the many ways he can kill sephiroth. if sin harvest were to happen from my knowledge for game references it depletes your hp to 1 and mp to 0 so if this were to really happen alucard would only need to be damaged in which he could not exists anymore. an attack that can erase a persons body and soul right there. firaga wall seems to do so. you may say that he will just come back if he wishes to do so. he is undead and he surely has a soul everything living not living must have a soul even the devil himself has a soul in which im fond of him. sephiroth has absorbed life itself on earth as portrayed in advent children if there is no life essence on earth there is no way you can live and simply wishing to be some where thats not alive wont happen. if a place that does not exist really exists then reality is not what it seems like. images in our brain is not reality like dreams. alucard cannot make things exist or happen by reality. alucard is a being that exists because its allowed to exist as we all are it seems. god could exist or not but i will not get into that its not the same subject. i am using facts not fanboyish opinions.

Uhm, actually Douche Bags, Alucard is now currently EVERYWHERE but NOWHERE. That means he can be EVERYWHERE in the world, in different dimensions, in EVERYONE’S HEAD ( he can mind hop just like Schrodinger could and kill people via killing and shutting off their brain ) on the moon, anywhere.
Proof is how would Schrodinger even know where the Hellsing, Vatican and The Queen of England’s meeting be if it was kept of the highest top secret priorities, or even go to the Hellsing mansion when he’s NEVER been there before. You contradicted yourself.
Alucard >>> Sephiroth.

well, i DEFINITELY agree with the Alucard side. i’m sorry, but Alucard is quite literaly unkillable. and from what i’ve seen (i read pretty much the whole post) sepiroth is very powerful, but Alucard (who i love, and have seen both animes, AND have been reading posts such as these for some time now, so i know a fair bit about him) is AT LEAST a demigod if not more. something like a supernova, even a real one, would most likely kill Alucard for roughly three seconds. the only thing worse than this argument that i’ve seen is when a few people on here suggested NARUTO could kill him. i could post facts and such, but it’s been done already, so my last point is this. the point of such a powerful character is that sometimes we WANT someone omnipotent, sometimes it’s NICE to have the “bad guy” win. i remember that dr. Horribles sing along blog was a HUGE hit. so this is just my opinion, but it’s based on a LOT of facts, so i stick by it. i nominate Alucard.

This is no contest. You cannot fight insane, sociopathic super-killy omnipotence. It just won’t work. Alucard can quite literally decide to exist inside your head. He also wants to be a very small but deadly nuke. Then he explodes in your head, regenerate somewhere and laugh out LOUD. Tell me how the f**k Sephiroth can even touch that kind of power?

Aeris could defeat Alucard. Fact 1. She can pray to the planet and ultamitly always win because of divine provision from the help and power of all life itself, such endless power certainly eclipses Alucard who is not the embodiment of life or death and certianly is not a God Fact2. Aeris could then kill or defeat Alucard if she needed to because she has the power of life itself at her disposal. Fact 3. Sephiroth killed Aeris. So… Sephiroth can kill Alucard. Sephy wins no contest. Sephy can destroy all and not for a second has his true power ever been witnessed or even imagined according to Cloud’s statement from the game…

So…HOW does he kill Alu? When he is INSIDE sephy’s body messing stuff up? Or when Seph obliterate every single molecule in Alucards body only to find the vamp laughing behind him seconds later? Unless you can negate the ability to be way beyond life and death, plus the laws of physics, you are in for one hell of a beating.

The question was not how, but rather an inquiry on simpy the winner. I propose that Seph is capable of winning because of acts from his past. That being him Killing someone who could most certainly defeat Alucard and a reference to a statement from the game that no one has imagined the limits of his power. I would answer your question with “The same way he somehow Killed Aeris”. The details I do not know, the details were not asked but I am compelled to say he has demonstrated beyond a doubt that he is most certainly capable.
Also I would like to note that it has been said more than once here that Alucard is all powerful and immortal in the full extent of those words, based on a few statements such as he is everywhere and yet nowhere. This statement referencing an area of Alucards life that is limitless does not mean he is infact without limits or all powerful at all. Him not being confined to any geographical location does not equal omnipotence or any other context of limitlessness other than the specifically stated one. Right? Him being everywhere and yet no where does not mean he cannot die, is all powerful, all knowing, or any other statement of unlimited anything. It must remain within the context of the statement. It was also stated by Schrodinger that Schrodinger was infact everywhere and nowhere as well… Schrodinger is dead, was consumed, absorbed, overcome by Alucard. Based on these last stated events and facts, being everywhere and nowhere does not imply immortality or omnipotence in any form or fashion. It will take more than his nowhereness to be unkillable, because it was reasonably true of Schrodinger, who is infact dead.

I would also like to state that Sephiroth is the ultamite enigma, everything about him is shrouded in shadow and the unknown. He leaves everything in his wake frightened and confused knowing nothing about what happened or even themselves for that matter. Sephiroth almost destroyed a world, a reality, he is a consumer of worlds, he has experienced life and death and remains to be feared by all that remember him. Little is known of him, except that you are compelled to be very very afraid.

The way that Alucard managed to bring down Schrodinger was through absorbing his soul. Without his soul, the cat boy couldn’t work. But Alucard has no soul. And therefore he cannot die the same way, or any other.
Okay, let’s throw out the opinion of EVERYONE on Alucard out the window, and say he can infact be killed if you pour enough into him. So what? Alucard is still everywhere and nowhere, so he can just place himself inside seph and destroy him that way. Hoe do you negate that? And if the theory is correct(which is above 99% probable) Alucards excistence is based only on WHERE and WHAT he wants to be, a complete master of his own self. So, he can be whatever and whereever, with the raw power of Alucard, and that will destroy Seph.
I’ll add something more later, but i got some cookies to sell right now.

I think sephiroth could fight his way through alucards pawns, kill every last one and fight alucard to the death, if alucard really wants to die (I think he does, but he wants to be killed) then sehiroth may be the one to grant him that.

Whacko,
Schrodinger died becuase he became souless? Why doesn’t this same event destroy alucard? It may mean nothing… just means that Alucard is not an enteresting a Character as Seph is to me. Thats cool. This infinite being named Alucard who wills his own existence and happenings may be able to end Seph, but bleh…I say two stinky toes down on that, sure Seph can lose, to lets say… God himself? Lame…
Ok, back on topic. to stay within the context and flow of the conversation.
1. Alucard could place himself inside Seph and kill him… I’m not sure this would kill Seph at all, I just don’t know. Seph isn’t just a material object or being. Hes a person who jumped into a Mako reactor, slept inside the lifestream, appears and disapeares, moves at near speed of light, controls peoples actions etc… came back from the dead… im not sure being in his body would do, anything really, it appears that he is well beyong such limits of tangebility and material. I say your theory here brings no evidence of victory to the table. How could Seph be killed ultamity… I don’t know really since he returned from his defeat in the game even stronger and upon his second defeat or exit he announces that he will never be only a memory, he turns the sky into a magnificent storm and vanishes. All leaving us with the sense that he is still very much in control.
2. Alucards existence is based on where and what he wants to be. How does this event become something Lethal to Sephiroth? Could it simply mean that he is atleast capable of a victory? maybe… I would ssay it means more that Alucard could be extremely survivable, not as much lethal or effectual upon septh. Thats the way it sounds to me anyway, but I have never heard of Alucard until now so… I am not an expert. Seph could withstand Alucard’s raw power, i think the game and movie demonstrate an act of raw power wouldn’t really be much of a threat to him…. he’s Sephy after all. The badest of the bad. Google Seph and see how hits you find… Emo kids everywhere want to be him! HAHA. Hes just the baddest and coolest mofo ever! Good luck with those cookies m8.

Alucard won’t die from no soul because he is a Vampire, a creature working without it. Not to mention he has absorbed more than 3 million other souls that shield his own version, which is his acknowledgement of his own existence. Even without his quantum reality manipulation he’s still pretty much immortal too, in that he can regenerate from seemingly any wound or damage. Even from a pulp of blood, or bodyparts scattered over a wide distance. He’ll just revert to some type of shadow, and put himself together again, even if it was anti-vamp weaponry that brought him down low.
1. Well, he COULD just rip Sephs whole body apart from the inside, cut his brain from the body, or rrip out the important parts, and dump them all in various stars. I don’t think he’ll get back anytime soon, really, no matter what he has shown before. Or, Alucard could absorb him. I don’t have all too much info on Seph, but if he has blood and a soul he’s utterly fucked. You pack that and Alucrad suck you up. If not, he destroy you. And his other abilities are within Alucards power as well. He can be whatever he wants, hence he can do those things. He can also just BECOME Seph, morph the body into his own and that’ll be the end of it. Theoretically, of course. We haven’t really seen him do it, but the general opinion in the community is that he is basically capapable of almost godlike feats with no problem.
2. I said some of this under point one, but i can add to it. Being whereever and whatever means he can be a nuke behind seph, a RPG in his chest, a sun in his boxer, etc. You get the idea. Not to mention he can be split to nothing and still return, if he wants to “live”, and he only wants to die at the hands of a pure human. And this also means Alucard can do far worse things than raw power. Since Schrodinger could enter you at the mental plane with no fuss, Alucard can too. A master Vampire in your head, playing games with your thoughts and ripping apart your personality while laughing? Not nice. For all of Sephs popularity with emo kids might be, this is a tad too much. Seph wants to become a god. Alucard is, in many respects, a god already.

“Aeris could defeat Alucard. Sephy can destroy all and not for a second has his true power ever been witnessed or even imagined according to Cloud’s statement from the game…”
Fallacious logic. If A>B and B>C in character battles this does not necessarily mean A>C. There are too many variables to make such an assumption, thus this whole reasoning is left void.
If you really want to suggest Aeris vs Alucard, go ahead, but I doubt it would last more than 2 seconds as Alucard himself becomes a sword piercing through her, which managed to kill her just fine.
Alucard is pretty much everything Sephiroth would ever want and hope to be. True immortality, and not dependent on any Jenova Cells, the ability to be anywhere at once. Sephiroth is incapable of this. The truth is that Alucard could just destroy all the Jenova Cells, and then eliminate Sephiroth once and for all as Cloud as failed to do how many times now? I guess you don’t give an emo boy a man’s job and except it to be done fully eh?
Sephiroth’s biggest problem is actually killing Alucard. If Sephy can be disposed of by a genetically enhanced human via means of a big sword, then Alucard could easily dispose of Sephiroth without trying. It also doesn’t help that Sephiroth has an incredible amount of arrogance, and often also “tries” after he has been beaten up a decent good amount. While Alucard might be even more cocky, at least he has the infinite regeneration to back it up.
The way I see it, Alucard is pretty much a Lobo, leagues beyond Sephiroth.

And if someone want to make the argument “Alucard cannot know of either the Jenova Cells or their position, duh!”, just remember he got the ability to read minds. And the fact he don’t even need to take em’ all out to win, he simply needs to destroy everything of Seph until there’s nothing more to regenerate from.

CPT Olimar,
Yes it was fallacious logic, i was wondering how long before someone pointed it out hehe, i was gonna ride that train as far as I could. Based on the statements given concerning Alucard, Seph would lose, though he don’t think he would die and completely end. But I leave with saying Alucard is well beyond not enteresting… bleh. Seph on the other hand is totally badass and completely enteresting!

But…. Twilight proved that all Vampires are gay, considering Seph’s beautiful silver hair, ravishing good looks and Charisma, Alucard would be Seph’s b**** lover for eternity would he not?

Alucard is interesting, mainly cuz he’s a dick, lol. Other than that, Seph has never appealed to me at all, so this comes down to taste.

Alucard’s Dracula. Sephiroth’s technically immortal. Hmm… I’d say Alucard wins. All he has to do is absorb Sephiroth’s essence.

I’d have to say Alucard. He can regenerate himself, but is Sephiroth got shot in the head I think he’d be a goner. But if this was a batter for sexiness I couldn’t decide lol.

I think that sephiroth well win cuz his power is unlimited and alucard can die when he regenerate is self and sephy only got to slice him once when alucard is regenerating…
So sephiroth got mt vote..

Alucard pretty much has this one in the bag. If it was pre-Schrödinger Alucard, it’d probably be much more fair for Sephiroth.

What’s with everyone thinking Sephiroth’s immortal?! He’s not immortal, nowhere ever said specifically that he’s immortal unlike Alucard whose said and is obviously immortal.

@Darkblade
You might be able to answer this question for me; does Sephiroth have the ability to cast the status effect spells like stop, etc? I ask because over in Dante vs Sephiroth, they say he doesn’t when I’m pretty sure it was stated that Sephiroth had access to magic without materia because of his time spent in the lifestream.

I’ve got this in the bag. I love Alucard but simply put, Sephiroth has too much access to magic and too much knowledge to lose. Either he would use holy magic, such as Raise to reverse any sense of undead immortality, or he could always throw a Phoenix Down. This would be hilarious to see of course. Healing him to cure the wound known as Alucard. Lmfao

@siggymansz
the only reason i said that is because death casts souls to the void…..if it just so happen to land on AL it could take schordingers powers from him. other then that no much sephy can do.
