Rorscharch Vs Punisher
Rorscharch Vs The Punisher

What looks like a great match on paper probably wouldn’t last very long if played out. I just don’t see the Punisher being able to withstand the assault that Rorscharch would unleash upon him.

What do you think?

Castle goes down. Rorscharch is far too cunning for him.

Rosach is like a murderous batman. No way the punisher could survive him.

Rorschach = Batman cranked to 11
    Batman > All
    You do the math.

i agree with Dracosphinx Rorschach seems like Batman without his ‘One Rule’ i don’t see the Punisher being able to handle his speed and cunning, The Punisher seems more like a stand up and fight head on kinda guy, granted i haven’t read the comics so this is based on the movies which don’t always give an accurate portrayal of the character.

    Thanks for posting. =)

In hand-to-hand, Punisher has no chance at all. Rorschach is way too skilled and fast; he’d take down Castle in under a minute without difficulty.

With weapons, Punisher might have a chance to either snipe Rorschach or gun him down, but Rorschach’s cunning as well as his ability to adapt quickly to his environment would likely trump Punisher’s arsenal.

So, it seems that in any situation Rorschach would finish the Punisher for good.

Okay… The Punisher is a former special forces U.S. Marine, who is trained from everything from guerilla warfare to hand to hand combat and has a overwhelming arsenal full of guns, grenades, missles, mines, etc.

Rorscharch is a man who, while extremely deadly and somewhat insane, is basically a street fight who doesn’t use guns…

I’m putting my money on punisher.

it does go to rorschark i mean he not only can kick some ass but he can also take alot of damage if anyone remembers that big final fight also the punisher is tough but i just dont think he has it i think hes been taken down more times then rorschark also rorschark thinks on his feet give him any kind of opening and hell use that to kill you so yeah this fight ha :) goes to him

    @16

So a man taught how to fight by a boxing club and street brawls (Rorscharch) beats a man, who is a trained special forces marine (Castle)….

    Yeah that makes perfect sense.

    NOT!

Rorscharch has no rules, he will use anything even cheap moves to win. Castle still has some kind of honor, this being I doubt he would go for groin shots/eye gouges/ etc

@Larz-I thought The Punisher did all kinds of underhanded things to people. In the games you can tourture them in very unpleasent manners If he has the balls to torture someone with a nail gun or even a prototype Iron Man arm he would kick someone in the balls

As for the match I think it can go either way. I mean Punisher has fought agile people like Rorscharch who are twice as ruthless including bullseye, Jigsaw in an iron man suit, and even bested wolverine via bullet to the groin. So it could happen.

frank all the way, i have read both comics. Frank would destroy him in every arena of combat. i love rorscharch and him dying was the saddest part of the book but he would be annihlated. He couldnt hurt ozzy mendez, not that frank could either, frank has killed super villians and duked it out with some of the best super heroes. my only real question is why would they fight each other, they have way more in common then just about any other two super heroes. together they could take out all the crime in the world

Well, it depends on the area and the situation. Rorchach is alot faster. Well, Everybody in Watchmen is faster. For some reason they move at high speed. But if the punisher has a gun i doubt rorchach has a chance

    @ Kenny C.

He was awesome throughout the whole movie. The prison launch room scene was just my favorite scene. My second favorite scene was his death scene in the link below.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IReCgN2T-Tw

The Punisher is a badass and so is Rorscharch. If there was a badass meter out there with 10 being the highest and one being the lowest. Both will be a 10 on the badass.

But I have to go with Rorscharch. He stuck to his guns to the very end knowning that Ozymandias would have him killed. He knew who his killer was when Dr. Manhattan appeared in front of him and stuck to his guns to the bitter end.

I know that ain’t enough for anyone to win a match on Factpile but I have to go with my soul. The semi-honor of his final moments. Sticking to his believes knowing he was going to die when he could have easily lied to survive. So Rorscharch meets his end.

Punisher could and would do the same thing. The problem is Marvel has never let the Punisher or any of their characters face their final moment. Why because that have a large fan base and so they can’t die. But for me anyway that is kind of it’s downfall though. Because a hero has a strong fan base they can’t have him face his final moments and that is a weakness in well in comic books and movies. Sure the supporting characters will die but never main hero.

Now some who read this is wonder what does the bottom half of this comment have to do with the Rorscharch Vs Punisher. Well nothing really it’s just something about movies and comic books that I just want to get off my chest. For years I seen moments in history of men and women have died for what they believed in. Maybe it’s unfair for me to hold that standard to comic book, movies, and video game heroes but I do.

So in short however dies with their head held high I will support.

@Megaraptor18: While not dying, the Punisher did have a similar moment.

    http://morb.wordpress.com/2007/02/06/feburary-comic-reviews-punisher-war-journal-civil-war-3-marvel/

Punisher War Journal #3: Because he only sees good guys and bad guys, he refuses to attack Capt. America to the point he lets the Captian beat him to a bloody mess. This happened twice, before Frank went to the Vietnam War and again in the middle of the Civil War. To stick with your beliefs when Capt. America of all people told you to attack him, I believes rivals that death scene.

I got to do more research on Rorsharch before I can come up with my own conclusion, but I just wanted to mention this to show that you can stick to your beliefs and not die for it.

Thank you for the information now I know a little bit more about Frank Castles. If he lets the Captain America beat him to a bloody mess. Now I know even more about him and greatful that Marvel was at least willing to give him an almost death scene. Thank you for correcting me.

Rorschachs a badass and all but really,I wouldn’t sell Castle short in terms of wits.

These two loons are very similar, and would probably work well together, yet I can’t imagine Punisher losing as easily as people have stated.

Rorschach is a skilled boxer and gymnast. Frank Castle is a former marine who has been trained in hand-to-hand combat, weapon-based combat and tactics. So he’s more then just ‘that one guy with guns and a skull shirt’ that people make him out to be.

    Rorschach vs Moon Knight anybody?

Rorscharch is probably as Joker and is a McGyver without the conshence. Ror is my bet. Punisher does have a little insanity but he’s not as tuned in to his inviroment as he needs to be.

So…… your saying that insanity… in a fight that has already commenced… somehow trumps being an actual trained killer and having the option of using guns….brilliant.
