The Expert Zone – The Return of the King
Well I had hoped that this day wouldn’t have to come to pass but it is now here.
For everyone that wants to blame others for my return all I can say is that you are a complete idiot. The only people who need to be blamed for me having to come back to Factpile is yourselves… Let me explain…
History lesson – For those of you who don’t know
I am the first person to ever comment on this website. I’ve been here since before it was even about battles and I am 100% percent confident that I’ll be here still after everyone who currently does anything on this website is gone (except for the admin of course). I’ve helped the admin turn this website into what it is today. I’ve provided him with tons of graphic support and suggestions and ideas which have turned this website into one of the best sites on the web today! So one of the main reasons any of you are even here writing anything on here is because of me. So pay some respect monkeys.
Well over a year ago I made the suggestion to the Admin that I start writing my own column or having my own section on the website. After sometime we agreed on it and I wrote a bunch of articles and designed some banners for them and got “The Expert Zone” started.
A lot of people weren’t happy about this and they cried and complained saying things like “why does he get his own section”, “I want to write my own articles”, “I’m a loser and suck at life…waaaaa”… Anyways you get the idea. So the admin had a contest to get people to actually write some stuff and put it on the website. While all of this was going on I continued to write my column and maintain my section of the site.
So then the time came and I had spoken with the Admin and he had told me that a lot of people were submitting stuff and I was really excited about this. I thought for sure that there would be some really good creative things to read that were fun and interesting.
So with all of this great news I decided that I’d take some time off because I unlike everyone else on here have a really good life that I live on a daily basis. So I thought it was a perfect time for me to step aside and let a few select others grab the spotlight for some time and really do some great things.
What the hell happened?
So time passed and I had been busy and really didn’t even check the site for sometime. Then we I did I found some really bad articles that were really boring like the entire
“The Triumvirate’s Royal Inquisition”. While I have respect for the three individuals writing this article and section. They just lack any creativity in the least and really over write everything that they do. It really was very bad and very sad to read.
I then thought some others would write some good stuff so then I went through a lot of the other articles and I would find stuff like a article about FarCry 2. Which complete sucked and then an article about the Forge on Halo 3. Which was a complete waste of internet space and I must say I was amazingly surprised that the only person who wrote anything good was “Baron Somebody”. I really like what he did with the star wars stuff and really did a good job with “The Mystery Behind Sir Daniel Fortesqure”. His only problem that he has is he really doesn’t try very hard to get new stuff up very often.
Also another big problem is the fact that people are just lazy here it seems because I think the same article has been up for over a month now about stupid “Far Cry 2” with a whooping 17 comments on it…
All and all my point is this is very sad and far less then I expected when I left to take some time away several months ago…
Back and Better then Ever!!!!
So that is why I am back. I can not sit by any longer and watch this site turn to crap because of the lack of effort of the “so called Factpilers”. Due to the lack of navigation space the “Expert-Zone” will now have to reside in the “Factpilers” section. I’ll probably just end up taking it over since no one else writes anything any more.
Things to be Excited About!
- I just wanted to clear up a few things… Everyone my name is not Rob nor Expert-IMP any longer and I actually have official changed it to just “Expert”. I feel as though that best describes me and what I bring to the table.
– I’ve got a lot of new things to talk about and do on the website. I’ve actually in my spare time been working with the Admin to design a new look for the website and get this thing updated to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL.
- You will be getting a healthy dose of the “Expert-Zone” on at least a bi-weekly basis. I might sometimes do a weekly article and maybe even sometimes do multiple articles during the course of a week. But rest assured you will get sometime at least every other week.
-I also have a ton of new ideas I’ve been that I’ve been flying pass the Admin that he has liked and we will be working hard at implementing as much as possible.
- Besides getting a dose of my article section all the time you will also be getting several other things I will be putting together for everyone to enjoy. I think its very important that I make up for the time I lost while I was away and give you double if not triple the amount of Expert you were enjoying before I left.
To Those Who Challenge “The Expert”
Face it the website was ten times more fun and better with me here and doing my thing. While I was gone it sucked and was boring and plain and just not entertaining enough to even look forward to on a daily basis. But now with me back I am going to change all of that. I’m going to shake things up big time! Also I’ve been reading whatever one has been writing in the comments on my teaser banners leading up to my return. I just wanted to take the time now to address those individuals and you know who you are and who I am talking about.
Who ever is stupid enough to take the time to write an entire “Factpile Declaration of Independence” against me is the biggest loser I’ve ever meant in my entire existence.
I mean seriously?? Come on and get a frakin life… You want to know what I’ve done with that Declaration. I’ve printed it out at a custom printing place on a fabric known to common folk as toilet paper. This fabric was then taken and hung upon the section of my mansion known has the royal flushing room. I’ve begun using it on a daily basis and it’s brought great joy to my life. So thanks!!
In Summary – ARE YOU READY!!!
I’m back on Factpile. I have my own section again because everyone else sucks at doing anything to help support anything or anyone. There is nothing anyone can do or say about it. I know that there are a lot of fans out there who are probably really excited right about now and to those people I just want to say thank you.
To the Admin I want to say “Thanks for having me back

It seems that only YOU can do what YOU do after all.
For all their claims of angst towards you, many kept uttering your name even when you were not there. That says a lot. One would think that such “hated” individuals would just be forgotten, right?
Keep on stirring the pot, sir. I rather like how the Pile goes into a frenzy over your antics, and have done so from the start.

While Expert’s opinion is his own, I’d like to say that there are indeed others that I know for a fact to be contributing to our community. The very existence of the Factpile Wiki (work in progress) can be attributed to Marche who is also one of the older regulars.

And I did look at your portfolio and was impressed so you’ve got my support there. the only reason people don’t want you back is because you spark flame wars that have no relevancy to battles. Other than that I think your articles were well thought out and should have been recieved bettet(the superman one is a little iffy though). So, yeah, good luck and try not to start another fire.

You know what, i had this long comment about insulting him and explaining to him why we dont like him and that what he does is only whats going to make us hate him. The Wiki is mainly all Marche. I joined up and gave him a hand on some things, and a couple others have joined recently and made their own contributions.
The Wiki is one of those things that have me EXTREMELY hopeful as I think it will be incredibly beneficial to the site in the form of exposure as well as aditional debating tools. It will be far easier to reference others towards his Character Profile there than to keep repeating the same examples of strength Superman has performed.
Feel free to join up on the group. We need a lot of work done in there, and every little bit counts.

Son, I have never hidden my true feelings on anything in this site, much less one Rob ExpertImp. There is a HUGE difference between sucking up and giving credit where credit is due.
Fell free to actually surf the site and see just how “nice” Rob and I are to one another…
We may have disparingly different views on many a debate, but I have always given support to his endeavors as I think they bring something to the community that others will find hard to reproduce. Every Asgard needs its Loki, after all. I am honestly looking forward to see in what new ways he will get people all riled-up.
On another note, your dissapointment means as much to me as a plucked hair from a Lion’s mane would mean to the king of the jungle.

I notice on the Wiki Battle Universes that only three are usable. I could help you locate info on the Gundam universe I’m a Gundam fan I have watch most of 0079 and played every game base on the Universal Century era and seen Gundam Wing, G-Gundam, 8th MS Team, 0080, and 0083. I have also notice that the Dragonball universe, the Killzone universe, and Fallout (For the record I have only played Fallout 3 however I wanted to learn more about the back story of the game so I looked some things up and learn a bit more about Fallout). That is all I can think of that this time.

You act tough behind the internet but I think in reality it would be far more likely that you were the one being beat up at school, and even if I’m wrong I still think that you should not start fights with people for no real reason. Something will always be better then nothing, and I for one will never object to an antithesis to oppose. A warriors greatest fear is becoming the strongest there is, for without a stronger opponent, there would be no point. While I do despise the vanity that one ‘Expert’ displays, the very fact that his existence was enough to get so many people riled up proves that he is indeed a necessary evil. I however, welcome the return of someone so pig-headed and stubborn. And for the record, I considered the whole Factpile Decleration of Independance all fun and games. I noticed that there is no Mecha section in the wiki that might be helpful to pull up vehicle specs in the Mecha debates and universe fights.
For example the Halo Rings blast radius is 25,000 light-years.
A Mecha section will make things easier.

Pretty much. It gives stats on strength, speed, equipment etc. It will make it easier to get character info and figures without having to scour through the web. I’d say just go ahead and makes pages for your favourite characters. I’ve already done Mother Brain.
And I hope the new design is going well Rob, would be nice to have something with a bit more character.
