What looks like a good match on paper probably doesn’t hold up well unless some handicaps were applied. A straight up-all-powers match easily favors the Sith. If you wanted to engage in physical combat, the victory would be for Raiden. Try as I might, I just don’t see any way that Raiden can win this fight.

Raiden the immortal Protector of earth, wielder of lightning in all its forms, opener of the gates to other universes and Played by Christopher Lambert versus a mere husk of a sith.
Have any of you seen that episode of Justice league unlimited with Aqua facing the Wonder twins? They try to drown Aqua man… I think this match will go just as well for Palpatine.

I am going to go with Raiden. Palpatine does not have the mobility to keep up with Raiden. So While Palpatine tores himself out Raiden will go for the kill.

Knowing that Palpatine has some form of minor ‘space storm’ ability, I’m tempted to go with him. Raiden has the possibility of being able to teleport around Palpatine and then proceed to disarm and punch him into oblivion, but the sith’s mind reading may be enough to stop this maneuver. I think it all depends on who acts first.

A Force Storm is essentially a tear in the fabric of Hyperspace, allowing the tachyonic particles to escape through the rift and pretty much rape the laws of physics as a result; this affects everything from individuals, fleets to entire Planets.
On a side note, Force Lightning isn’t lightning as we know it on Earth, much in the same way that Turbolasers aren’t actually lasers; it’s the physical embodiment of malice channeled through the force, used to literally drain the life from a victim in lieu of any actual electrocution. The appearance of lightning is just for show.

im thinkin raiden because he can call lightning down to kill palpatine which im sure is more powerful than force lightning because people in the movies and games can get hit with force lightning and get up and continue to fight where a real bolt of lightning will kill u

If you say a lightsaber can cu through Raiden’s bo staff, then you’re wrong. Raiden fought Sektor & Cyrax, both wielding Pulse Blades which are basically lightsabers. And second, I think Raiden can pack more lightning & lightning power than Palpatine. If Palpatine uses the ordinary Force and tries to push him, then Raiden will simply do a Superman or teleport. He can teleport right behind Palpatine & and do an electrifying fatality 0n him. And Raiden’s an immortal, & Palpatine, if it wasn’t for Vader, would die of age. And Raiden is a god. And you can’t read a god’s mind. If Palpatine tries to read Raiden’s mind, then Raiden can electrify him with his mind. And oh yeah I almost forgot, Raiden = Christopher Lamberd!!!!

When I first saw this match, I thought it would be a stomp for Palpatine ’cause I thought the Raiden we were talking about was the one from Metal Gear Solid.

Raiden, I admit is powerful, but Emperor Palpatine can see the future, so he knows when he is coming. If Raiden got past Palpatine’s killer force lightning, then he would still die because of Palpatine’s lightsaber.
