While this might look like a close match on the surface, for my money, there is no way Voltron loses this fight. Megazord would just be another robeast for Voltron to eliminate with a swipe of the sword. It would be fun to watch though.
What say you?

While Voltron does have the ability to fly, Megazord does have some powerful upgrades with the Support Zords. Also the little known fact the Mastadon’s Head doubles as a shield could help as well.
Need to hear from Voltron experts first to find out my thoughts.

I don’t know much about Voltron, but I think I’ll throw my support behind the Megazord for this one.
By the way, which Megazord is it? Is it just the classic Megazord from the Might Morphin Power Rangers or the most recent? ( Keep in mind that there more than one Megazords in even the first series, such as the Dino Megazord, the Ninja Megazord, the Thunder Megazord, and the Shogun Megazord )

Given the pic Admin choose I think it’s the classic Megazord

The chosen picture doesn’t really mean anything considering it’s merely the result of “random google searching.”
But anyways, the reason I ask is because even if we’re using the classic Megazord, the most recent Mighty Morphin Power Rangers have the power to automatically separate it into its constituent Dino Zords, instantly upgrade them using the power of thunder into the Thunder Zords, and reform them as the Thunder Megazord. The Power Rangers can also call on Dragon Zord, Tiger Zord, and the Titanus, which are also “Classic Zords” and fuse them to create an even more powerful mech.

It could hardly be considered a “knock off” considering that Power Rangers is an
Americanization of Japanese Super Sentai and both that and Voltron were created by Toei

Voltron wins because of his power ranger like multi-build and his sweet battle skills.

Ah…Power Rangers…I’m assuming that we’re just talking about the classic Dino Megazord that MMPR started off with…so I’m leaning towards Voltron for this one.
Again, this is assuming that the Megazord can’t call on outside help like the Dragonzord. So definitely going with Voltron on this one, even if his series doesn’t have a catchy themesong.

okay i gottas give it to the megazord because for all intensive purposes the dragonzord is a part of the megazord just an optional part as well the ,egazord has two forms artillery mode and battle mode so thats additional fire power and the megazord has a shield the mastadon head voltron has no shield i gotta give it to the megazord

Really if either one of these mecha take out there swords, it’s over. Just how it happens in almost all their episodes, they get their ass whopped for a few minutes, they take out the sword, and then win.

“they take out the sword, and then win.”
or; They both pull out their swords and the galaxy implodes.

Voltron would CRUSH Megazord. If Megazord gets dragon zord, then Voltron II (Vehicle Voltron) gets to jump in too. Voltron has fought entire space armadas, giant robots, and all sorts of planet-destroying monsters. The Power Rangers fought the same thing over and over: stupid smack talking monsters that were easily defeated with a single sword swipe or blast from a cannon. Voltron has faced bigger, meaner villains and more of them. The MMPR were too busy getting pushed around by Bulk.
