So this idea of MC taking on an army had popped up a few times, but how would an elite group of soldiers handle taking on a one-man army?
I think “THIS IS SPARTA” might actually win. Even with all of the technology, 300 against 1 just seems too great. Sure MC could laser or kill a bunch of spartans in a group, but they know that if they keep advancing, he has to re-load at some point in time…

You’re all assuming that MC’s shields would deflect the spears, based on how bullets act on the shields (another physical projectile) a few would be incinerated but the gratuitous amount of metal-tipped wood would overwhelm the capacitors in the armor. Based on how the actual hard-plating of the armor cover’s very little of the actual body, a few of the spears would make it into the bodyglove, past the gel and into the flesh, sure that would not bring down the might juggernaut that is the MC but we are talking 300 men here, enough poking with the swords and the MC will fall, sure MC can engage in melee but with 300 men all stabbing him with swords he doesn’t have a prayer to survive that….

Lets not forget that Chief has armor enough to stop infinite spears (he fell out of space) and has enough super strength to kill them all with his bare hands. No contest at all. Bronze spears don’t break through the metal in his armour, let alone the shields. Three hundred people breaking their weapons on his invisible shield would make no difference. The MC could take a nap part way through and he’d be perfectly able to kill the other hundred and fifty. And even at that, the MC doesn’t really need guns to acomplish this. His arms shatter concrete fairly easily. What does this mean? Bronze go by by. Their weapons, shield, helmets and lack of armour are crushed in the perfect meld of man and machine. And in that chasm the Spartans chose, they’d be lead to slaughter fairly quickly. Using their own tactics.
And the MC has fought much larger armies than three hundred at a time. Two Scarabs would slaughter the three hundred men in a second, but you fight that before entering the control room in the third game.

In the game mc is easy to take down by human weaponry for 3 reasons, 1 Its like the year 2556 or somethin, 2 they are the most advanced human weps they have really. Or high up there at least, Also armor piercing. 3 the game Had to be built that way, so he was killable.
Oh and the 300 spartans held of thousands of persians, Mc killed 10′s of thousands of SUPER advanced Giant Aliens, Saved the Universe, and stopped a MASSIVE armor of millions of undead monsters that can take over other peoples body’s. Now compare them =D

Master Chief can pound the Spartans with AR burst-firing. If they are clumped, “Stick” and “frag”. After all, the Spartans don’t know wtf a grenade is… He’ll probably be showered on with stones from slingshots, and those will make his armour-tender real cross over NC carelessness.

Man some of you guys are dumbasses. I mean really, Master Chief’s armor and body glove are completely bullet proof. Even if his sheilds go out, those stupid toothpicks they call spears would splinter as soon as they touched him. Even though the spartans are at the peak of physical perfection, there is no friggin way they could possibly get through his armor. They aren’t that strong! In fact, they wouldn’t even be able to move him 2 inches. When in his armor, Master Chief ways well over 2 tons. Shoot, he could just wait for them to get tired. That is all.

Get your facts straight. John’s suit weighs 1000 lbs. 2 tons is equal to 4000 lbs. Unless John himself weights 3000 lbs, and I highly doubt he does, then he most certainly does NOT weight even remotely close to 2 tons much less surpasses that weight.
The idea of John actually weighing 3000 lbs by himself though is endlessly entertaining. Hehe, super fatty soldier.

Someone in peak of physical perfection can left up to 800+lbs and having several men in top peak of physical perfection can easily carry MC. Because he weghits about 1000 pounds or a half of ton (Not 2 tons) and if you learned anything in Masonry or Construction Class in school you would learn if you have enough men you can carry almost everything. For example if you want to flip over a car then get a three to five people together (normal people now not peak humans like the Spartans or anyother kind of soldiers.) can easily flip a car. 300 Spartans at peak human can knock over and even carry MC around. Due to the fact that each Spartan wouldn’t feel the full weight of MC unless some asshole Spartans wanted to be lazy than they would feel it.
Trust me I know because everytime my masonry class was called to move some heavy things for the football game that night. Some assaholes would let go and trust you can tell when someone lets go.

I thought a man in peak phsical perfection could lift about 300 or 500 pounds with straining, but 800lbs seems a bit much. Think of what a person must have been doing to gain all that muscle mass and upper body strenght. They wouldn’t possibly be very good in the other fields such as running and jumping, and agilty. For a human to lift 800lbs and be at physical peak would mean he would have to be some type of super human.

I just occured to me, doe’s MC carry 300 rounds of ammo?
I mean, at the very least, nothing short of a headshot is going to stop a spartan in one shot and there is no way a 7.62 NATO is going through a shield, armor, and a human body more than once, especially if it fragments for extra stopping power.
I forsee MC running from 50 or so spartans due to lack of ammo. Ofcourse, the greeks are never going to catch the supersoldier, but that won’t stop them from trying.

I am biased because Master Chief is just awesome but I will try and be as honest as I can.
Ok, let’s pretend that your a spartan attacking Master Chief. First of all, you would wonder what the hell he is wearing and as soon as you attacked him you wouldn’t do anything to him. Their swords won’t do much, they will most likely leave scratches but his shield will absorb most of the force.
Next, imagine he starts shooting your friends and your friends all start dying. You are going to think to your self “what the hell is going on? is he some sort of demon?”
After a while they would retreat to come up with a strategy.
The rules say he also has decent vehicles which, would automatically win due to their confusion.
If he had a scorpion, theres no fight.

MC is also a ‘Spartan’ leading up from the originals themselves (you’ll know if you play Halo), but is an immense improvement upon the others. With numerous genetic enhancements giving him reactions of a micro-second, the vision of an eagle, riddiculous levels of strength, bones grafted with titanium, and all-round greatness.
Coupled with armour that can survive a drop from orbit and swathed with energy sheilding that can repulse molten-plasma for a short time, MC could repel all the arrows and spears of the persian army, let alone the spartans. The Spartans strength against him in close quarters would summount to nothing even if MC was without his armour, he could best them for speed and overpower them all at once.
MC really is the victor here, but it was the technology of genetic enhancements and armour that make this so (also he has a highly tactical mind and is focused only on his objectives).
