Interesting fight here. While hand-to-hand would seem to favor Ryu, in a ranged fight the edge would go to MC.
But with all the blended fighting styles available to both fighters, the odds could be titled in either’s favor in a heartbeat.
While I think this match would certainly push MC to the edge, in the end, I think he would make the final blow.

First, Ryu can slice through androids and cyborgs very easily with the dragon sword as well as his myriad of other weapons.
Second, anyone who thinks that MC is going to even know that Ryu is there until his head is rolling across the ground is in denial.
Third, Ryu has the blood of the Fiends within him which gives him strength on par or greater than MC’s.
Fourth, at range, Ryu has arrows that can destroy tanks and helicopter gunships, let alone a man in power armor.
Fifth, Ryu can use his Ki to hurl balls of flame, discharge electricity, throw black holes, and create blades out of wind.
Sixth, Ryu can basically shrug off blows from missles, tank cannons, supernatural attacks, swords, and most other weapons without being killed.
Seventh, if DOA 4 is any indication, Ryu can destroy MC in hand to hand with his armor ON let alone off.
For support of these claims, please take a look at Ninja Gaiden I and II on xbox and xbox 360 respectively.

Umm lol? MC’s strength is supperior to Hayabusa’s. He has a gun, he is probably faster (unless ryu can run up to 65kph) not to mention he is ALOT tougher. This sounds like a cool fight, it may take a while. But MC will probably win.

ryu’s been shot at by rockets, tanks, helicopters,impailed,chewed on,and he would still live. if it was mc then he would be dead before you know it. ryu would just use his talisman of rebirth and come back to life plus he’s got elixers and no armor to protect himself mc on the other hand needs the armor. plus ryu can cut through body parts like it was no problem even if they had armor or overshield. so now we know who wins….RYU!!!

Well the dude with 6 points is correct…and speed wise Ryu moves faster than a kawasaki ninja bike (lol) not by running but by dashing..apparent from reference by doa 4 Ryu can surely pick up MC…and ryu has the ability to stop time..and i dnt mean bulletime..ACTUAL Time…in any case even with ry’s powerful loadout of skill weapons and ninpo (the fire and ish)…anyone who can manipulate time is guaranteed VICTORY…fans of both characters…just sayin
