Once again what does this have to do with anything? You act as if MC moves so fast he becomes a blur. No 35 mph really isn’t that fast when a bolt of lightning moves at about 130, 000 mph. And Pikachu is fast enough to move in a blur. Actually according to the wiki the electricity om a Pikachu is at such an intense level that if several are grouped together they can create a lightning storm.

Never in my post did I imply that Master Chief could move in a “blur.” I am implying that his speed, coupled with his superhuman reaction time, makes him very capable at dodging. And in the show, Pikachu always announces his attack with the noise and takes him a very short time. He does not really do this attack instantly, and any warning at all would give Master Chief a high chance at dodging. And as Capt. Olimar already said he can react five times faster than Pikachu, who reacts about the same as a normal human.

What everyone is forgetting is that MC could run at 50-60kmph at age 14 with no suit. Mark 4 would be soemthing like 60-65kmph. Mark 5 would be around 80kmph anf Mark 6 is around 130kmph(Close to doubles the speed and strength) That would be around 80 miles per hour. AS for the blur issue, yes he would move almost in a blur. Arrows travel at 50 miles per hour and they are hard to spot in motion. This is because the speed for the object’s size causes it to seem to be less visible. Example, bullets and jets move at supersonic speeds. however you can see a jet traveling at the same rate a bullet is moving.

Their reaction time out of the suit was something like 0.2 miliseconds or something. Increasing that by a factor of 5 for the Mark 4 suit is 0.04. The put him in the Mark 5 with Cortana and you have something like 0.02. THen put him in Mark 6 with cortana and boom! 0.01 milisecond reacion time.

As for strength, MC could lift around half a ton out of armour at 14. In Mark 4 that puts him at around 2 tons for strength. Mark 5 and he is at 3-4 tons, and in Mark 6 around 6-8 tons.

While it is true that we cannot quantitatively compare reaction times, just remember that pikachu isn’t known for his speed or agility.

That’s not to say that he ISNT fast or agile, but that is not his strongest attribute. There are many pokes that are MUCH faster than him. Also, while I am not directing this at you specifically midnite, just keep in mind that speed =/= reaction time. Nothing is made of pikachu’s reaction time that suggests it is even significantly above average. I would certainly place his speed above average with agility, but not sure about reaction time. For all we know, pokemon have not significantly change the reaction times from the animals they are supposedly derivaed from (despite the fact that apparently only 500 species of animals exist in the pokemon world O_o)

If I had to make a guess as who had a better reaction time, I would be really in the chief favor. Genetics AND his armor enhance it by a factor of 5. That is a lot going for him, you must admit, and when his opponent can be KO-d within a split second of accurate attacking, that is a HUGE advantage in this battle.

cortana is much more than a piece of equipment to MC, i doubt he would fight his
way through a flood-infected high charity to rescue a talking assault rifle.

I have in fact read some of the manga, and I have to say it seems more realistic than the anime, and even the games sometimes to be truthful. I have yet to see anything ridiculously magical occurring in the manga ( that we see in the anime ), and there have been many times, where pokemon were involved, when the threat of death existed.

So its not as if they’re trying to avoid “not killing” somebody ( other than for character shielding of course ), for an age group or whatever. I also don’t recall to many situations where a feat had to be ignored for comedic effect. They ignore some of the more “ridiculous” pokedex entries and take it down a notch. They also might give feats or facts about we never hear about anywhere elsewhere. So really, there’s little reason to discredit anything we see in the manga if we take it as its own canon.

I’ve already agreed that Masterchief has a higher chance of winning this match, but we’ve already been through some of these failed arguments.

I don’t know a great deal about either contender, not having dug much into the Pokemon thing, or read into the Halo series and stuff.
