Here we have two soldiers who have given much for their cause. Where I think Templar would put up a decent fight, I don’t think it would take much for MC to win this match.
What say you?

“perhaps MC should fight an evil alternate reality MC(perhaps with a moustache)”
HOW IS FACIAL HAIR EVIL?!!?!!
ahem…
whilst jan is a respectable soldier, and a great leader. he just lacks the technological edge that the chief possesses.
jan was never kitted out with the highest grade technology that the ISA had on its hands, wheras the chief was given the shielding and gene-modding that cost the equivilent of an entire battlegroup in the UNSC
now judging from what we have seen in killzone, the ISA lacks quite a lot of the high grade UNSC spartan programme technology, so unless the ISA is keeping something from jan, jan has pretty much lost this one.

If Templar is armed with a M82 Assault Rifle with a grenade launcher attachment on the rifle might be able to take down MC. I think a (I’m guessing on the round.) 40mm grenade round can take down his shields.

I dont think that the 40mm grenade could take down MC’s shield. The brutes a grenade launcher and their grenades look a bit bigger than 40mm. i don’t know the size of them, but Jan would have to hit him with it first and with MC’s superior speed i don’t think it has much of a chance to hit him.

The chief could run at
34.155 MPH OUTSIDE HIS ARMOR,but with his armor it doubles.
Chief skills>jan
Proof:The Spartans endured a great deal of hardship during their first years of training, the Spartans were placed into situation and drills that pushed their abilities to their very limit and beyond. Their hard training was complemented with a good education, from math and science, reading and writing, to military tactics. His training methodology was tough, even brutal in some regards; Chief Petty Officer Mendez always instilled discipline, honor, respect to the Spartans. He taught the Spartans how to kill, but at the same time he taught them the difference between right and wrong.
The spartans always won CTF when they were 12 years old against Marines from tango company.
Chief weapons>jan
Spartan laser,sniper rifle,….
Chiefs strenght>jan
Almost unbreakable bones,Capable of lifting three times their body weight, which is double the normal lifting power of an average human due to increased muscle density. Results are from spartans without their armor, armor increases the strenght.
Chiefs reflexes>jan
Reaction times of 20 milliseconds. Significantly faster in combat situations or with A.I. assistance(cortana).Chief could deflect an anti tank rocket with his hands
Mjolnir 6 armor>jans armor

Actualy, in the games mc “walks” pretty fast. I mean, look at a marine, who is running, and watch you pass him by like he was frozen in time. The reason it looks like mc is moving so slow is because he is so big, and everything is put onto scale with him. So to what us might look like a ten foot walk to a 5 foot wall is actualy a 30 foot jog to a seven foot wall.

- Well I do, and considering your rep. around here, I think that my insane babbling carries more weight than yours. Besides, Radec is ah’ beast among the Helghast and I’m pretty sure having someone teleport all around you with an arc gun is not a good situation.

@ kenny
It doesn’t matter about rep
It matters on wether the facts are true or not.
Now I don’t know how much damage this arc gun could manage, but if its able to do damage any where near to a plasma canon then Radec might just get my vote.teleportation depends on how much times he could use it, the distance, and other factors.
If radec is able to react fast enough and teleport before a bullet gets lodged in his head then…
November 15, 2009

I suggest factoring in that the arc gun utilizes lightening as a weapon and the fact that Radec’s teleporter is limited to an unlimited cool down period. Range is a debatable topic on the teleporter and he uses it to indeed dodge bullets.

- “I don’t blame you if you can’t register what im trying to say.” – I can’t tell if this is an insult at me or not.
- The wonderful tag team of Rico the bullet shield/disraction and Sev the guy who gets an enormous arsenal of specialized weapons at just right time. You can also say Radec himself, as he was both hampered by both the plot demanding he die and PIS when it comes to his fighting tactics in game. Seriously, you needed a bullet shield, part of an entire helghan arsenal, and his own personal PIS to win.

Hotshot does have a piont about the Mark VI. As said in the books it nearly doubles the speed, reflexes, and strength of the Mark V.(Ghosts of Onyx when Dr.Halsey gives the surviving S-IIs a few upgrades to their armour) I think it was Vince that got the strength and speed upgrade.
AS for the whole rep deal…
L-W gets his rep from his intelligence. It is possible that you could find a fault in a calculation and prove him wrong. You get rep on this site from being smart, not you get smart from your rep.

@hotshot-Wait where the hell did you get the chief runs at 35 mph outside the suit cause i got all the books in front of me and none of them said that. book and pg number please or your a dirty liar. They can run at 60kmph out of the suit. That is around 18-20 miles per hour. In Mark 5 they can run at between 30-40 mph if I recall correctly from the calculations I did. That puts a Mark 6 speed at 60-80 miles per hour. Very impressive for a soldier on foot, actually that is impressive for a soldier on an ATV.

@the_man_with The_Answers-Once again you and that retarded piece of shit hotshot are making up your own statisitcs and selling them as fact. I just checked the fucking wiki and nowhere does it state inside the article for the Mark 6 that it increases runing speed. Here is an exerpt from the site.
“It seems that before John-117’s activities in the Battle of Earth, an improved reactive metal liquid crystal layer had been developed for this suit, increasing the mobility of the Spartan even further, although this has yet to be confirmed. However, this claim may be reinforced by evidence such as faster melee attacks in Halo 2 Campaign, slightly faster jumping speed, and increased jump height. John-117’s physical performance appeared to have improved considerably.”
You see that it says that it hasn’t been confirmed if the user speed hasn’t been increased or not and as such is pure speculation. As for the ending I’d chalk it up to game mechanics due to more open levels and complaints from the latter games. Therefore both of you are wrong and should cease your fucking propaganda cause its plucking my nerves.
And lastly for you calculations write them out on this message board so I can see them and check the math myself because based on you and hotshots english skills I wouldn’t put to much stock in your “calculations”. Besides the fastest running speed recorded is 26.7 mph achieved by Maurice Greene. Shit I top off at 17 mph but I’m Jamaican and that’s nothing for us. So you must have fucked i your calculations somewhere.

@Mega-Yep that mon can run. But when you live over there its a good thing to be able to run fast. Lots of stray dogs lol God I remember when I was 13 and I was walking home from school and out of nowhere this big ass dog came running after me. I had to drop my book bag and put the burners on. It almost got me too but luckily there was a fence I could hop to get away. Split my head open on the way down though. 7 stitches i believe. Good times lol

How do I know that the Mark 6 is double strength and speed? Read Ghosts of Onyx. Dr. Halsely gives the surviving S-IIs on reach some upgrades to their armour. I’m pretty sure Vince got the upgrade that almost doubled stregnth speed, and reaction time. Actually when I went to go redo my math I found that out of suit is 34-38 mph at age 14. Mendez said they would get faster as they grow. Putting it at around 40 mph for adult MC. The upgrades in Mark 6 therefore put him at around 70-80 mph. The people on halopedia don’t try to use any math at all. They often skip over facts from books and make up things that don’t exist. Anyone could go on Halopedia and make up a bunch of random bullshit. I could go on right now and add a statement that says that once Master Chief got to the age of 20, a side effect occured from the augmentations, causing him to start to decline in his physical abilities. Then sooner or later the people that use Halopedia will be posting that all the time and say it is a fact. There is a reason that people tell you not to get your information for a paper or project from wikis. They are often bais because if you don’t like MC, why would you right an entire page on him. Same goes for everything else. They also contain opinions and blurs of the truth.
