As funny as it is they did tried this and I bet this was not the only drug they tried. It wouldn’t suprised me if current governments are trying to use drugs to make the perfect soldier. None of them never work.

These are the drugs in the Spartan IIIs systems all of these drugs are illegel even by UNSC standards this must mean the fact that even though it’s safer than the ones given to Spartan IIs it’s still dangerous.

Drug 88005-MX77: A fibroid muscular protein complex that boosted muscle density and strength.
Drug 88947-OP24: A retina-inversion stabilizer drug. It boosted color and night vision capabilities.
Drug 87556-UD61: Improved colloidal neural disunification solution, which in turn decreases reaction time.

Modern day Special Forces has faced the stress of fighting constantly. In the Battle of Mogadishu This is were 180 US Army Rangers and Delta Force faced off against 2,000-4,000 militia and civilian fighters. The Rangers were outnumbered and outgunned and still survived. The Us only lose 18 to 19 men while the militia lost 1,000 and 1,500 Somali militiamen. Even today in Afghanistan of troops are outnumbered and still do their duty. In fact history is full of a handfull holding off thousands sometimes millions of troops.

Now to the ability to take pain the whole SEALs, Green Beret, and Marine Force Recon, and other SF units are put through nothing but pain. They must get use to the pain or they can never be known as America’s Best not only take the pain but to also think clearly while they’re in pain and all of this without drugs.
