Wow, this is an amazing pair up.. These two should be on a tag team match.

Man where to start, the two ultimate icons of warfare against each other. I need to do some research for this one..

Well first a quick recap on what everyone already knows about Master Chief.

*Without his Armor*
-Carbide ceramic ossification bone grafts
-Capable of running at speeds exceeding 55 KPH (34.155 MPH).
-Capable of lifting three times their body weight due to increased muscle density.
-Virtual night vision.
-Reaction times of 20 milliseconds and even faster in combat situations.
-Capable of unprecedented teamwork that resembled “telepathy”.
-No physiological or mental instabilities.

These results were taken from a few months after augmentation, CPO Mendez himself said that the Spartans will only get better as they adjust to the augmentation.
These abilities were tested completely independent of the MJOLNIR armor, which only enhanced the Spartans’ unprecedented capabilities even further.

*With Armor*

-Energy Dispersing Coating (External) *Protects from lasers, plasma, and other heat or beam weapons.*

-Luminous Green Refractive Titanium Alloy (External)

-Matte Black Alloy (External) *This fills all the gaps in the armor, its flexible but still just as strong as the actual armor and is still coated with the energy dispersing layer.*

-Shields (Outermost External layer) *Blocks any type of projectile or energy weapon, but power does dissipate eventually and then recharges*

-Hydrostatic Gel (One of the Innermost Layers) *Conform to the wearer’s shape and body temperature, keeping the wearer from getting too hot or cold. The Gel is automatically pressurized to various levels, allowing it’s wearer an amount of cushioning during hard impacts. This way, a wearer can survive powerful brute force impacts, and falls from great heights or other similar conditions.*

-Reactive Metal Liquid Crystal Layer *flawlessly enhances the speed and power of the wearer without motors. The “Crystal Liquid Layer” is amorphous, yet fractionally scales and amplifies force. Because of this advancement, the design more closely resembles an actual suit of armor, as opposed to a powered exoskeleton * I can’t find any numbers on the amount it amplifies his base abilities, but I know it’s a horrendously high factor.

-Also don’t forget he’s been trained since he was six and has nearing like 30 years of experience under his belt.

*Now for a look at the “almost” super human capabilities of Captain America*

Height: 6 ft. 2 in.
Weight: 240 lbs.

Captain America represents the pinnacle of human physical perfection. While not superhuman, he is as strong as a human being can be. He can lift (press) a maximum of 800 pounds with an extraordinary amount of effort.

Superhuman Powers: Captain America has agility, strength, speed, endurance, and reaction time superior to any Olympic athlete who ever competed. The Super-Soldier formula that he has metabolized has enhanced all of his bodily functions to the peak of human efficiency. Notably, his body eliminates the excessive build-up of fatigue-producing poisons in his muscles, granting him phenomenal endurance.

Captain America has mastered the martial art of American-style boxing and judo, and has combined these disciplines with his own unique hand-to-hand style of combat. He engages in a daily regimen of rigorous exercise (including aerobics, weight lifting, gymnastics, and simulated combat) to keep himself in peek condition. Captain America is one of the finest human combatants Earth has ever known.

*Conclusion*

Well you guys are left to come to own conclusions, but I think Master Chief appears be too tough, too fast, too strong, and too well trained for Captain America to handle. In any case they would make an awesome team. Old school soldier and future super human warrior. Hell, throw in Snake to represent the present and you have a near invisible team.

mc is not gonna get past the shield

Cap is trained heavily, and though MC was trained since he was six, techinically, Cap has experienced combat for many decades, including WWII and many bouts through to the present. Physically, Cap and MC are likely equally as strong, fast, and agile, but MC’s tech and weapons might give him an advantage. Unless Cap can use his adamantium shield to deflect gunfire until MC runs out. Once hes out, Cap can throw his shield to knock out MC’s shield and much of his armor. MC without weapons and tech and Cap without his shield will likely just put the two of them into a hand-to-hand fight similar to Peter Griffin fighting the Chicken in Family Guy until they both decide to just end up going out to the nearest bar for beer. =)

hmmm….mc could set a trip mine…wait for cap to come over..the cap would get badly hurt, making him beat 9/12,the mc could use a rocket launcher or spartan laser and kill cap.END FIGHT

His shield…..The shield Stops all inertia, energy, and Pure pwnage.

Captain America wouldnt throw his sheild if he knew it would miss or get caught he’s not stupid. plus Caiptain america is a super soldier and has expierience fighting aliens and other crazy heros. his sheild can stop bullets so if he were to block all of mc’s amo he would have to fight hand to hand with MC. master cheif weighs 1000 pounds in his armor and captain america can lift 1100 pounds so with his sheild hand to hand combat would be an impresive fight. even with a grav hammer master cheif couldnt just swing and hope to defeat Captain America because captain america’s sheid is invincible and can’t be destroyed by anything except a tyranid broodlord which is a completly different subject. Also if captain america threw his sheild it doesn’t just fly off and get lost like i said he isnt stupid he plans out the course it will take and over 99.9% of the time returns to him. He can also fight without the sheild because its not like he doesnt know judo or how to box like a champion because he can. so i think because Captain America is basically the symbol of American patriotism and he is basically no matter how you classify it a super soldier he would put up a great fight and mortally wound and or kill master cheif.

umm did u know that mc has armour and shields plus he can carry 3 times his wieght and he is also fast when mc and capt america fight what makes u think that captain america will wound or kill him??

Master Chief and Captain AMerica share similar creation stories but Master Chief is more advanced.

im gonna have to go mc.i dont no anything about captain america other than what i saw on avengers vs hulk…lol but he didnt look that good and hisshield isnt big enough to defend every part of his body so mc would start firing then shoot the foot or something and cap america will fall down them mc will just grap him and tear him to pieces

It only takes one misake and MC can put a couple 7.62mm rounds in Cap’s gut.

MC is MUCH MUCH faster. When in his armor all he needs to do is think something and the armor reacts instantly.

And what caliber were these bullets? MC has ammunition equal to OVER 50 caliber at his disposal.

And what makes you think that MC would just ‘let’ him punch him in the jaw? MC has augmented bones, extremely fast reflexes, and his energy shied would recharge before Cap could throw his shield again.

I like them both, MC more, but……I have to agree with most of the others. Master Chief would win this combat.

I think Captain America could possibly pull off a victory. He’s not quite as strong as MC but he’s almost or just as fast because according to my research he can run a mile a minute and MC can run at speeds up to around 35 mph. Also Captain America’s suit is bullet proof so it should be able to deflect a few bullets from MC’s weapon’s. Lastly why are we limiting Cap to just his shield as he has been seen using guns before and is a trained soldier after all. I say give him a XM214 Microgun and he would standa fairly decent chance against MC.

I would just like to point out to you two that your doing the exact same thing Halo fanboys do when talking about giving MC weapons. Yes, CA has used guns before but he is limited only to his shield and abilities. Its just like when Halo fanboys say OMG MC SHOULD GET THA SPLAZOR!!1!!

Point is that CA doesn’t regularly use guns so why give him a gun?

Well considering that Captain America’s shield is even stronger than adamantium, nothing that MC has in his arsenal can get past his shield. Besides that MC beats him in all other physical aspects.

Oh, i didnt know the new one regularly uses a gun now. Still it may not change the outcome of the fight.

you all say caps shield can stop anything….chief is faster and stronger(by far) then cap,
caps 1100 bench vs chief lifting 3x his bodyweight(3000 pounds) chief could simply walk up to cap and take the shield and cap could do nothing but run away, at which point he WOULD get shot, there is no way cap can run full speed and even hope to out run chief let alone run and fully protect his backside, ultimately there really is nothing cap can do, on another note
*chief tosses a grenade or fires a rocket to caps side*cap blows up or blocks the explosion but wait a sec then chief still has one rocket or an AR out

,mc can easily hit wherever he wants,cap doesnt dodge hes dead period,
