His trainer happened to a highly respected veteran soldier who has done dozens of missions, both open field and covert and has more medals than most soldiers would have, so you can bet that John would be very well trained in open and covert warfare. Then we have his genetic augmentations, those already give him a much higher advantage than a regular human yet they were fatal as well to many others in his class.

And of course the gear, the weapons he uses in all three games are top of the line UNSC weaponry and the same could be said for the other bits of equipment like the Bubble Shield, Regenerator, and more besides.

Plus the UNSC MJOLNIR Series of Powered Assault Armor he’s worn over the years are very powerful, with the Mark 6 being the top of the line. Batman uses Kevlar but that’s already an outdated material in the UNSC as they use far more advanced materials to make them.

All in all, the Master Chief is the winner in my mind.
