Killswitch Engage Vs Five Finger Death Punch
Killswitch Engage Vs Five Finger Death Punch

Suggested by Dracosphinx
Here we have more two bands facing off with similar styles. While 5FDP’s new album “War is the Answer” gets released tomorrow (9.22.2009), Killswitch recently released their last album this past June, named “Killswitch Engage”.

So, all that being aside, which band do you prefer?

Five finger Death Punch. Killswitch has really gone downhill. I find them extremely overrated.

    FFDP…hands down.

They have way more aggression and intensity, and they give the hardcore genre a good name.

Yes I do and Axl Rose sounds like a rip off of Robert Plant…Slash is only a decent guitarist that relys too much on his own image than playing skill

“Slash is only a decent guitarist that relys too much on his own image than playing skill”

He had his name engraved in the Pavement of Rock, Next to jimmy Hendrix!

GnR is neither average or generic! They were an exceptional band with each member haveing a great talent for his own instrument. Axl’s unique voice oaired with their whole persona is loved by people accross the board of music lovers.
Furthermore the image of the band is EXACTLY what being a rockstar is all about…..I’ve never even heard of the Yeahs Yeahs Yeahs!!!!!!!
Oh yeah, the reason I came to tis sight…. 5 Finger Death Punch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with Sapper, Baron, GnR WERE the 80′s band.

Guns and roses …Meh. Axels voice is too nasally (but then rock has never been about good vocals). Slash is amazing, as are the others guys no-one really cares about. Its all about axel and slash, and Axel is… not that good.

Having said that, I’m a country western fan, which apparently means I’m predisposed to disliking GnR

I hate techno, modern country is complete shit and certain types of rap can be good (namely ILL Bill and Scarface)

Five Finger Death Punch hands down. I have seen both bands live. Adam D and his Superman Cape, not so much – while the 5FDP show was a massacre.

In the ring? I think 2 of the Death Punch guys are professional fighters.
