Kharn & Thor Vs Hulk & Lobo

Long overdue Tag-Team match that has perhaps the greatest collection of fighters who can both dish out a ton of damage as well as take it.

After a long battle, it’d still be hard to pick a winner, so dear reader, it’s up to you.

    Never ending punch-up.

No end to the carnage, no end to the fighting. Only breaks, as one fighter tries to pryhimself out off the floor, or has to figure out how to return from the planet he has been thrown towards.

Epic, ultimately futile, and eventually everyone either goes home, or to the bar.

this is a spectacular smack down, but down to business.

now hulk has the capacity for infinite strength,so that could be a hassle.his base strength is well over 100 tons and he has shown to be able to lift FFFAAARR more than that.he also has regeneration that almost reaches lobo level(depending on the hulk version.) he also has some resistance to mysticism and the capacity to take blasts from some powerful people.he has also become a pretty good tactician since the events of WWH,so i think that may give him abit of an edge.

Thor is not as strong as hulk(i think) but has some key advantages like his hammer( that is made from uru that rivals admantuim) and has the capicty to destroy a galaxy.
another thing about thor is his ability to drain life force energy and open portals, nothing stops him from sending his foes to another dimension(although would that really be a victory?) thor with his access to the odinforce could probably will someone into nothingness.

Lobo’s strength however is varying on author to author, but for this battle,he is on par with superman(because that is he strength level most of the time.)now one outstanding feature about lobo is his regeneration,he has been rejected from heaven and hell, any injury he has sustained in combat will recover in time.another thing is lobo’s ability to track his targets,no matter where thor or kharn go he will find them.lobo also makes use of most weapons he has like his chain

Kharn is someone i dont know much about, but having the powers of the blood god on your side who is powered by the pretty much every single battle in a universe of chaos, has to have some benefits.their is also his gorechild which can slice a space marine head to crotch……in inexperienced hands.however, kharn has had ALOT of practice with this weapon, meaning he no doubt can use his chainaxe with deadly accuracy.lets not forget that should he fall in battle, khorne can resurrect(if he does a good job.)

this is a tough battle because while the hulk would most likely fall first(tough as he is) can he compete with the thunder god AND a space marine infused with chaos?than their is the fact lobo just doesnt die,so i think it could be a tie.

This is going to continue till one of them dies from old age, can that happen anyone? Kharne is already 10000 years old, Lobo cannot die, Thor is a God so does Hulk age? Also, I think the amount of time this fight will cover then by the end of it he’s gonna be angry enough to throw planets, or perhaps even stars, around like pebbles!

    “This was my suggestion”

And a good one it is. Still, admin gets props for hitting the “engage” button.

I am still quite torn on this one. I will probably side with Kharn/Thor just because i support the team 100% while I only support Hulk/Lobo by 50% (I cant stant Lobo). The other three are some of my favorite characters of all time.

However, given Hulk’s capability to exponentially grow in all physical as well as energy output attributes, I think he could very well be the one to decide the match.

But Thor might finaly unleash his true power when facing utter obliteration, and Khorne might decide to boost Kharn’s juice in order to stand against these goliaths.

I know that this is a lot of supposition, but still….

GGGRRRRR I dunno, man. I DUNNO!

hulk could beat thor it would be hard but he has done it b4 but only if lobo was distracting the other guy.. and on the cartoon where he beats thor the hulk took his hammer thing and hulk+hammerthing=hulk smash

considering i dont remember hulk being worthy of weilding mjlonir,he would not be able to grab mjlonir, thor has recieved a massive power up(odinforce) so he could wtfpwn the hulk.

Thor’s team can do it becuase Thor is a almost immortal a god and he almost always 1 kills with his hammer throw.

There is a big “what if…” with Thor. While he now wields the strongest powr there ever was in Asgard, he has neither fully explored it, nor has shown the willingness to unleash it onto one he considers an ally, if not an actual friend.

I don’t know how much Thor would unleash on Hulk, while Hulk will share no such sentiments (unless Banner has a say in the matter). Like I said, two big “what ifs…”

SHOULD we allow Thor to unleash his full potential, he wins this fight easy. Should we allow Hulk to unleash his true potential, he wins this fight with much havok (possibly destroying planets in the process). As you can see, hard to tell.

I thinks its mostly because this match has kinda been done already, but with ghost-rider in place of hulk.

So some people confuse it for that,. some people don’t want to see the same arguments (and yet MC continues to be popular…maybe not)

Who can say. All I know is, Marvel and GW need to team up.

It could be Kharn and Thor VS Lobo alone and Lobo would still win. The truth is, he’s totally godmodded and pretty much impossible to stop. Unless, of course you can prevent him from healing and cloning himself.

It won’t be a tie, I mean Kharn has been around a while but he’s not immortal. I think that may be the only thing that lets lobo and hulk win.

“It won’t be a tie, I mean Kharn has been around a while but he’s not immortal. I think that may be the only thing that lets lobo and hulk win.”

That is still plenty arguable. As we have demonstrated on other posts, Kharn is readily “reconstituted” by the protection of the Blood God. Khorne might keep his champion going no matter what damage is inflicted, so it IS possible that he is immortal. It might have a hint of speculation, but there is nothing that would suggest otherwise either.

In addition, not unsimilar to Hulk himself, Kharn gains strength when the battle is fiercest.

Like I tried stating previously. Out of this match of goliaths, Lobo is the weakest link. He might outlast them all, but he doesnt have the same “juice” the others can bring to the battle, and that is an immesurable power source as an ace up the sleeve. Then again, Hulk might be able to make up the difference here.

This is why I will most likely stay undecided in this match unless something big happens in the canon of these characters while the match is still open.

(I’m looking at you, Thor #600!!!)

Lobo himself being with hulk is just win in my book. I mean I might be wrong and gore child might hack straight through the hulk but I kinda doubt it. I just think that a combatant that’s pretty much unbeatable and another one who is immortal and has tons of prowess is a pretty hard combo to beat, even for kharn or thor. Just my thoughts.

“I mean I might be wrong and gore child might hack straight through the hulk but I kinda doubt it.”

Logan’s claw slash Hulk open all the time. Adamantium shells were about to kill him in WWH. Gorechild is absolutely capable of hacking the Hulk to pieces. Not to mention what sort of reaction to Hulk’s gama radiated being the “souldrinking” process of Gorechild might happen.

Wouldn’t he regenerate in almost no time?

    All I’m saying is this:
    .Unbeatable
    .Immortal

Its a hell of a team.

Don’t get me wrong this fight would be long, bloody, ugly, epic, horrific, jaw dropping, awe inspiring, mind boggling, confusing, orgasmic, and painful, but in the end I think The hulk and lobo will win.

i don’t see the point in including kharn in a team game since that incident on skalathrax hes never exacly been the team playing type his only friend in the material world is gorechild and that isn’t even the most stable relationship

gorechild would hack hulk in peices

keep hacking lobo in pieces but lobo would keep regenerating and kharn would get bored and throw gorechild at thor. thor would go wtf then they would start fighting

    It’s freakin draw man….

Three of these guys are immortal and Kharn can just be resurrected again, and again, and again….

    Outcome-

The most awesome fight that would continue when we’ve all turned to dust.

Must agree with those gone before me….this match is too Epic to think about….TO EPIC!! My mind is about to go into shut-down mode. I guess, Lobo being kicked out of heaven and hell means he would win in eternal conflict. Maybe Khorne will get bored of his warrior not winning the fight? Who knows. So many what-ifs. Arrrghhhh wish I could find a victor, but alas, i think it is impossible.

I have to go with Kharn and Thor.

Thor possesses the god-like power of the Odinforce, with which I don’t really think Hulk stands much of a chance. He’ll be obliterated into nothingness by a God Blast or have all of his powers drained away long before he can reach the level of anger necessary to be at Thor’s level. Similarly, Kharn’s gorechild could very well end him by attacking his soul.

Lobo I think, being a threat to Superman, could probably beat Kharn. However, again with the Odinforce in Thor’s hands, the battle may seem a bit too uphill to win.

If Thor doesn’t have the Odinforce, then Team 2 might very well win if they can prolong the battle. If Thor can take out Hulk early on, then Lobo outlasting everybody is the only real hope, and Kharn and Thor are hardly short-lived themselves . . .

I go for the first team. Gorechilds ability to rip out the soul and feed it to the god of war is kinda badass. And the targets have souls so…

Don’t get me wrong, all of them are great. But some things are just outta your league.
