Dark Light
Joker Vs Tyler Durden (Fight Club)
Joker Vs Tyler Durden (Fight Club)

This would certainly make for a fun fight to watch. While in straight up physical combat, Durden has the advantage, but the psychological edge clearly would go to the Joker. Tyler would have to win quickly in order to have a shot, otherwise, the longer the match goes, the more it would favor Joker.

Just my $.02, What do you think?

    HAH. This match is great!

I must admit that I don’t even know where to begin comparing these two epic basket cases. Without any real logical reasoning (yet), I think I am leaning towards the Joker simply because Tyler never trully got a chance to explore all of his capabilities.

My personal belief is that with time, Tyler could have been a peer to the Joker, but as it stands, the “clown’s” experience should dominate this fight.

my opinion tyler would kick joker round like a playtoy but im being a bit bias i never watched batman and tyler shot himself in the head and survive beat that

Tyler was an imaginary friend, which would kinda put a damper on a physical fight. But if he were to come out through the guy he was hanging around with, they never gave him a name.

These two have similar goals in life, so they would likely work together. But like I said Tyler is “imaginary” so this couldn’t actually happen, but in terms of fighting skill Tyler would win in the most epic of ways.

    “Tyler was an imaginary friend”

Just to correct this. Tyler was absolutely NOT imaginary. He was a fragment of….well, Tyler.

Tyler is the original individual. Meaning Edward Norton = Tyler Durden. The persona in question (Brad Pitt/Tyler Durden) is the fragmented portion of Tyler Durden’s mind, while the unnamed character played by Norton is the passive fragment.

I know its confusing, but Tyler Durded DID everything in the movie, while the Norton persona thought IT was in the forefront. THOUGT. Not was. The whole story WAS Tyler Durden and how he allowed the Norton persona to gain some autonomy bit by bit.

In the end, the Pitt persona allowed the Norton persona to come to the front full-time after the Norton persona accepted they were one and the same.

I oversimplified when I said he was imaginary. I should have went into detail. Tyler was an entire persona of Norton, Tyler was not truly real, norton took the name and acted like tyler and observed in strange out of body experiences without ever knowing it.

I know what you mean by him doing everything in the movie but he more or less did it by proxy.

Joker is to insane and dosnt care about life. Tyler is the product of a scitso-man. Joker can take hits from batman and laugh. tyler dosnt carry around knifes, smg’s,and shotgun’s.

It’s an equal match. If either one of them started losing a fight they’d just start laughing and build themselves back up. If they were plotting against each other it would be equal too. Project Mayhem vs Joker’s Clown’s. Awesome gang fight.

@ Jordan Thurman. Joker may take punched from Batman, but Tyler takes punches also. Maybe not from such an accomplished martial artist, but from some very large guys.
All in all? I have a feeling Joker might be suffering from Tyler already :)

i do belive tyler would win based on the fact that he is everything that the actual tyler wanted to be. the joker would loose because he takes a while to kill someone just to make it funny and in the time he is making a joke durden would ground and pound his ass.

I think that its not really a fight for time.Tyler is a figment of imagination he could be the reason jokers insane for all we know.It really depends on the arena in my opinion.
