Wow. Great tag-team battle here.
As much as I would like to think that Arby N Chief can win this match, I think the Fett bloodline would win this match…
How does this play out?

I still think that the arbiter and mc win, even if the fetts have many equipments
mc and arbiter are better fighter
they have more skills, have better reflexes and are faster(only if the fetts have no jetpacks)

To be honest with you L-W, i couldn’t remember the names of the explosive devices the Fletts use, only that they where incredibly powerful for their size! Another thing, i apologise for insulting you it was unessesary. Now we have those confessions out the way I can clarify and re-adjust my statement thus :
The only scenario in which Master Chief and Arbiter could have a chance of defeating the combined might of Boba and Jango Flett is if they were inside a bunker designed to take a direct impact from a low to average yield nuclear weapon that contained something that the Fletts, for whatever spurious (spurious to this debate at any rate, obviously the Fletts have a reason for everything they do) reason, were trying to gain possesion of. The Fletts woud have to enter the bunker in order to retrieve whatever they were after and so Arbiter and Master Chief would be able to fight on their own terms.
p.s. I know that the construction of such a bunker would be extremely complex but it could be done.

I think the cheif and Arby would come out on top.
Firstly i highly think there whould be a bit of cover on the map. Master cheif and the arbiter could take cover and wait for them to 1: run out of ammo or 2:run out of fuel. Then the Fetts are most screwed
Secondly: If the cheif and arby are a li’l impatiant and the map ends up to have no cover (which i highly doubt) the could dodge and weave through the laser bursts. The SW laser does travel quite slow. And even if the cheif and arby do take a couple of hits their armour should hold. I mean the MC could take a full clip of plasma when his sheilds are full and still be standing. The Lasers are just like plasma(Extremely hot bursts of energy). The master cheif would get to them pummel em or just shoot em to death
Thirdly: Arbiter could just stealth with his cammo and sneak up on the fetts and beat em to death wth his superior strength. Easy cheif dosnt even haveto do anything; except maybe play a lil game of ball squashing after for fun.
And if the Fetts get their ship the Slave. Then it would only be fair that MC and Arby get their own ships. A Longsword attack craft for MC and a Seraph fighter for Arby which they are both exceptional at piloting(please refer to book)
Any way Cortana could just hack into their armour and suit and sabotage it like screw the oxygen or dump the fuel .etc etc (u can think of more bad stuff) MC and Arby can just have a nice cuppa cofee.

MC/RP, try not be such an idiot future, please.
1) The Fett’s utilize weaponry that would make the whole concept of cover totally redundant. Thermal Detonators, guided missiles, plasma gels that ignite the air upon contact and a screen of neurotoxins capable of bringing down a Rancor.
2) Slow? When did the speed of light become slow? Neither the Arbiter or the Master Chief are going to dodge an arc of ion cannon or Disruptor rifle fire. Idiot.
3) If it’s not too much trouble, try grasping your gray matter around the fact that we’ve proven Star Wars Blasters and other variants to be wholly superior to that of Covenant firearms. A single Blaster bolt is going to tear through their armour like a lightsaber through butter.
4) The sensors built into the respective helmets of the Fett’s are designed to detect cloaked enemies, by utilizing the full spectrum of visual, EM and auditory stimuli to detect even the slightest of movements or interdiction within the immediate perimeter.
The Arbiter using his cloaking device would be the equivalent of wearing a neon sign flashing “Kick me”.
5) Finally, that’s not how hacking works you dolt! According to your logic Cortana could hack a coffee table or a Bar stool.
Either way, I sincerely doubt a primitive 25th century could compare to a Star Wars era A.I. construct, any attempt to hack Slave-I would be the equivelant of a machine from the 50’s attempting to interface a modern military supercomputer, especially one that either of the Fett’s could afford to install.

you mean the 26 th century and please they aren’t primitive
and what about the spartan laser, are you again going to say that it’s only designed to fight against vehicles and not infantry?
i killed many people with the spartan laser on multiplayer

I am glad that this site keeps getting good and fresh trafic from the webs due to the Master Chief and Halo, but I wish that the ones that do come by tho check it out had more of the always elussive “common sense” that doesn’t seem to be so common after all.
IF common sense would have made an appereance here, MC/RP would have bothered to read the posts above.
To which I must conclude…
Epic fail is epic.

Hotshot, you are a perpetual migraine. If there were a button I could use to dispose of you, I would have used it long before without guilt or hesitation.
Cortana is incredibly primitive compared to even the most basic of Star Wars constructs, in fact I would even go as far as to say that the basic farming Droids used in the outbacks of the empire outclass even the most advanced of 25th century A.I. constructs.
And considering that the Riemann Matrix that created Cortana was first founded in 2452, that makes Cortana a 25th century construct, idiot.
But so far I’ve been kindly overestimating your intelligence, so I apologize for misleading you in any way that may have concerned or led you to believe that you were sufficiently intelligent to coerce with others. So I’ll reiterate the point that so many others have pointed out before, in a simplistic manner that you can understand.
Yes, the Spartan Laser can kill infantry, it’s energy output is capable of thus (Although it would take more than one shot to hurt Boba). But it is not *DESIGNED* to do so. Do you understand this? Am I making it clear for you?
For one thing, the output of energy per shot exceeds the efficiency of the input. Meaning it is far too wasteful to use effectively against infantry.
It is incredibly heavy and cumbersome and can only be effectively used from a stationary position. Thus it is not effectively operable to be used against infantry.
It fires only a single burst, of which it is only capable of firing five after periods of recharge. It has far too low a fire rate to be effective against infantry.
IT produced not only a visible reticule, but emits a distinct three second tone before firing. Does this sound like something you want to bring to a firefight?

Hotshot, we all know that you are incredibly thick. To deny this would be the equivalent to deny gravity, or electromagnetism. But for the first time I feel that your stupidity is more than just your burden, but the burden of the entire Human race for generations to come.
That scares me, that genuinely scares me.

Although I don’t want to defend him, but I think that when he said:
“you mean the 26 th century and please they aren’t primitive”
that he meant that Cortana wasn’t primitive in the halo world.
However, when L-W called Cortana primitive, it wasn’t in the context of the Halo world, it was in the context of the Star Wars universe, and thus she might be a useful program for an ordinary person, but useless in any combat situation.
Maybe I’m giving him too much credit but… it is possible he didn’t understand the context of your statement when you called Cortana primitive….. it’s…..possible……

OK people we came here to debate who would win this fight, not how idiotic hotshot is(although I whole-heartedly agree). I think there is one point that most people have neglected to act on:
JANGO AND BOBA HAVE LIGHTSABERS!!
And Boba has sufficent skill with it. He was even able to hold off Darth Vader, jedi prodigy, midi-chlorian count of upwards 20,000, and the freakin’ CHOSEN ONE, for a significant amout of time. Just think about that! Boba is completely outclassed in every imaginable way and it takes Vader a half-hour to subdue him. That is extroardinary talent.
Mid-Range:
Boba and Jango win easily. I do think that people are exagerating SW weaponry, but it would only take 4-5 shots to wipe either of them out. However Jango does not have mado iron armour so it might be penetrated by a UNSC assault rifle.
Close Quarters Combat:
I would say that Arby and the Chief would win this. If ther were in a hallway or elevator, I think there superior strength would end it. However, one does have to factor their lightsabers and flame throwers.
So consider ing the extremely remote chance of this fight happening in an elevator: Arby and Chief I think you guys are the best of the best! But the Fett Duo are just the best-er of the best.
At the end of the day:
All combatants draw their weapons and prepare to battle. Then they figure out they are way to cool to be fighting each other. They then spend the rest of the day drinking beer and slaying the Nazi Zombies that conviently attack at that moment.

As much as I liked that entertaining little comic, it is infact non-canon. They are called Infinities, included in Star Wars Tales 11 I believe. An actual canon source where Fett and Vader clash is called Boba Fett: Enemy of the Empire. Very fun little mini-series… He was skilled stalling Vader (it was noted that he infact diddn’t want to kill the Sith Lord due to the entire might of the Empire taking their vengence upon Fett) But the fact that Fett fought and stalemated Mace Windu as a twelve year old would be a better refrence.
“Boba and Jango win easily. I do think that people are exagerating SW weaponry, but it would only take 4-5 shots to wipe either of them out.”
It was proven otherwise. The common E-11 houses 4.2 terra joules of energy, while the Covinant plasma rifles house 17 mega joules. The plasma rifle takes a little less than ten shots before MC’s shields start to collapse, right? Boba Fett’s armor can take the heaviest of firepower in his respected universe without phasing out too badly, and Jango’s is blaster resistant as well… Yeah, Arby and the Chief is seveirly outclassed on this one… But you already knew that.
“However Jango does not have mado iron armour so it might be penetrated by a UNSC assault rifle.”
You would be surprised just how resistant durasteel is. believe me when I say a primitive slugthrower won’t do anything to Jango other than maybe, just maybe leave a boo-boo. And thats sort of a stretch to think about, as Fett’s flight suit is reinforced with thin strips of durasteel and a small yet effecient energy shield. It should be noted that Jango’s armor is hinted to have dallorian alloy in it, making it incredibally resistant to heat. Don’t get me started on Boba’s armor…
“I would say that Arby and the Chief would win this. If ther were in a hallway or elevator, I think there superior strength would end it.”
Again, a stretch to think about. especially when you can take repeated strikes to the head by Durge when you are a kid in Jango’s slightly primitive armor without phasing out.
“Arby and Chief I think you guys are the best of the best! But the Fett Duo are just the best-er of the best.”
Well said, cudos.
“At the end of the day:
All combatants draw their weapons and prepare to battle. Then they figure out they are way to cool to be fighting each other. They then spend the rest of the day drinking beer and slaying the Nazi Zombies that conviently attack at that moment.”

“Well, since I haven’t seen any more support for the Halo due come forth, I hereby nominate Father & Son for winner.

Took me 20 min to finally finish this entire post (i am a slow reader), and I have to agree with L-W, Matapiojo, and AlphaCommando. There logical argument proves (to me) that MC and the Arbiter would fight a futile fight. I can understand the argument of MC and the Arbiter being physically better than Jango and Boba, but tit has been proven (over time, though there might be some exceptions), that technology will always be superior to brawn. Look at the cross-bow in Medieval History. A lowly peasant who wasnt very physically fit, could kill a knight who has been training his entire life in warfare. Now, imagen if the peasant had the same amount of training as the knight, but was using a M-16?
@ Hotshot and his arguments. I do not agree with them at all, but I do appreciate how Cpt Olimar is…more polite than some other people……..(meaning L-W).
@ L-W, I understand why Hotshot seems….to have been unfortunately cursed with not developing his arguments well, but a little more politeness can never hurt anyone (yes, even being slightly less mean to Hotshot, though his arguments are bullish most of the time).

im sorry if this has been posted before but i believe this is all the proof we need

and since it has been posted than the arbiter is basically the covenant mc just double the results since jango and boba are extremely similar as well

sorry about the double post but…
Jango was know to fight jedi hand to hand and win (during the battle of Galidraan, were his entire family and most of his army of mandalorians were wiped out by a small army of jedi) so he would have absolutely no trouble with either of these opponents
