A longer version to the previous video. I think my only complaint is that by just watching this video it looks like all it takes to make a Spartan are some injections and POWSA! instant Master Chief…

No actually, that is the creation of a Spartan III, not a Spartan II(What MC is). While the Injections are much safer then what was used for Spartan II’s (99% survival rate vs something like 60%) they are still not as good as the II’s.

The survival right for the spartan lls were 56 % for the augmentation.
And yeah the spartan llls had a 100 % percent chance of surviving.

4% off, not that big of a deal, I was just trying to remember it off the top of my head.

Funny, I don’t recall Spartan-IIIs being given the MJOLNIR armor right off the bat, They used SPI right?

Yes but these guys aren’t just your normal Spartan III’s (One of them being a Spartan II afterall), they are also (Said by a Bungie Employee, so may be different in canon) testing these new armor’s and ability’s.

Yeah the ODST one was by far the most exciting and well thought.. Good music and I liked the way they depicted the boot camp and the fact that they were speaking a different language. I believe it was Hungarian.

I must say, it’s nice to see what the Hopeful looks like. Maybe Bungie will show us some more of the Human and Covenant Armadas than just the UNSC’s Frigates and cruisers (which I though there were only 20 left) and the Covenant’s Assault Carriers and CCS Cruisers. One of the things I think Halo Wars did right was introduce the badass looking Covenant destroyer.

Here’s my thoughts on this vid: ZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz MJOLNIR! Serious, talk about boring. What happened to the awesome vids with the developers talking about their game? What’s with this boring stuff filled with stoic young men and the piano music attempting to be moving? They did it with Halo 3 and Halo 3 ODST and now they’re doing it with Reach. Good God, I thought I’d never say I missed Halo 2. I mean the clips of the troops fighting the Brutes was cool but this is boring, boring, boring. It doesn’t feel like Halo it feels like an ad for a special on the History channel.

My friend got in on the early beta, so I got to play it today. Overall, while they do have some things to work on, I’m really excited for the finished product!

I tried the Beta and it was incredibally fun for a beta. It almost felt like a full game’s multiplayer.

It’s got a lot to live up to, especially with games like CALL OF DUTY MODERN WARFARE 2, BATTLEFIELD BAD COMPANY 2, GEARS OF WAR 4 (or 3 I don’t remember), RED DEAD REDEMPTION, & KILLZONE 3. I wonder who will be left standing after the year ends.

you sure its a spatan 3 but anyway first you have to be a candiate for it (i think) and 2nd you need training to be a spartan
