For this match, we’re going to have some layers. First one is a brawl match. I think Axl can take all of VH by himself. The second battle is influence. Which band has made more of an impact? Thirdly, which band was bigger during the 80’s? And the final question, which band do you prefer?
I like a ton of Van Halen songs, but they just don’t kick ass like GNR does.

1. Yes, The Guns N Roses did drugs, So that will make them stronger in the brawl.
2.Guns N Roses had astounding members, Who, individually made impacts for themselves and the band. Such as Slash’s name going next to Jimmy Hendrix’s.
3. Guns N Roses WERE the 80’s rock band. They were copied by other bands, They ruled.
4. Kicking ass with music is the only thing Guns N Roses know. Except Drugs…And more Drugs.

1. Drug takers or the rock persuasion tend to end up as weak as doped up kittens, and about as coherant as a geriatric jibberjabber, just look at Ozzy.
2. Barring slash the othe rmembers are has-beens, nobodies and talentless hacks attempting to rekindle a lost youth.
3. No, the 80’s rock band was Queen. Followed by Spinal tap, The Beatles and a fair few others. Not saying G&R were below Van Halen. I’m saying they were both consistantly high performing second tier bands.
4. Kicking ass with music? Axel rose sounds like he’s perpetually getting his own ass kicked. Slash is damn good, but far from the best, and the whole band has been elevated on three merely good songs.
Plus, As any DJ will tell you, Sweet Child of Mine is a song to be played midway through a gig. Good, catchy, but ultimately won’t get anyone on their feet unless they are already there.
Van Halens Jump on the other hand is a surefire footstomper.
Van Halen baby, all the way.

hate to sound like a fanboy, but i am one….guns n roses all the way, no 80’s band has more kick ass and soulful solos than Slash, just because Axel went a little batshit doesnt make their music any less noteworthy, their influence is much more notable, at least to me, among modern music than the entire Hair Metal genre put together.
and LMFAO the spell checker thing for ‘kickass’ has Kickapoo as one of the options xD
