Godzilla Vs Bahamut
Godzilla Vs Bahamut

A true clash of the Titans match here, these two combatants would leave a ton of carnage on the battleground floor. While I’d like to think that Godzilla could win, I think in the end, the victory would go to Bahamut…

What say you?

Bahamut, King of dragons versus the mutated abhorration that is Gojira?

Little to no contest I’m afraid. Bahamut comes out on top.

    “Bahamut comes out on top.”

    I agree.

Further, this is only if we are taking Final Fantasy’s Bahamut into consideration. In other examples (such as in Dungeons and Dragons) Bahamut is a God. Sufice to say, Godzilla wants nothin to do with this particular God.

So much for sci-fi of the 70’s…..I think it would be better If Mecha Godzilla backed up by King Kong will be the ones to challenge the Bahamut……Anyway the Bahamut will just use a mega flare to turn Godzilla into dust

That would be a cool fight to see Diana, with Kong and Mechagodzilla. I still say Godzilla wins. Bahahmut looks resiliant enough (As most dragon gods tend to look, I’m sure. Haha.), but I say Godzilla holds it for the win on the basis that he always comes out on top whenever he fights, even when it seems he’s dead! Godzilla is the type of fighter that, in the beginnin’ of the fight, he usually gets his ass handed to him. But that’s his instinctive strategy. He’s like the Rocky Balboa of giants. He can take all the blows he’s delt, then when it looks like “Oh no, there isn’t gonna be a 500th. Godzilla movie. (Their’s sooooo many of those movies!)”, then BAM, his back ridges start glowin’ and he shoots his atomic breath, gives a few tail whips, a few punches, throws ‘em around, then usually rips somethin’ off his enemy. Then they play the Godzilla victory music as his enemy runs away, plannin’ their next move on how they’re gonna finally defeat the king. And they never do, in the end. So, Godzilla wins.

are all of you stupid?… im a huge FF fan but if cloud can take down bahomet i think godzilla can bahomet isnt realy godly like how you would expect he also isnt quite in the same size ratio as GZ if its not that i dont think it would be epic i just dont think you are putting enough thought into this its just reguler bahomut not any of his super forms. end note: godzilla survived in a volcano for like 10 years… bahumet from FF could never do this. godzilla wins

Why is it that whenever someone starts with “I’m a huge fan of X…” it always ends in “and thats why X would lose”?

When did Cloud beat Bahamut? do you mean in the movie? that half atrophied, wanna be bahamut hard.y counts for as much as Bahamut Zero, or Blingmaster Bahamut from FF X

What do you get when you add strength to to the ability to fly? Win for Bahamut, godzilla just can’t keep up. Most of you are imagining two behemoths slowly walking toward each other in a city environment and then grappling in crappy production value. Wrong. Bahamut’s mobility is the key factor in his victory here.

Godzilla has more than enough experience with fighting flying foes and as for Godzilla’s easy slowmoving walk, he has been known to break out some fast moves when needed.

Not only that but his though hide, high resistance to attacks and his fast regeneration makes him very durable.

That and his atomic ray and other powers makes him the winner.

If we’re talking the final fantasy Bahamut, then Godzilla *might* stand a chance, if he can grab ahold of Bahamut and keep him on the ground.

If we’re taking the D&D Bahamut, then it’s no contest, Bahamut wins. Period.

Bahamut. All he would do is fly way above Godzilla’s head and blast him with his mega flare and other attacks. Then if Godzilla somhow beats Bahamut then there’s still Neo Bahamut and Bahamut ZERO to deal with. Plus, not many people know this, but Bahamut is actualy the Babalonian God of Destruction. In reality he is, so Godzilla has no chance of beating Bahamut. Win goes to the God dragon all the way.

The ultimate battle, the mother of all battles, godzilla vs. bahamut. Firstly, I’m a big fan of both. Based on strength, I’d say godzilla is stronger than bahamut, speed wise, bahamut tops it.
Which is more powerful, Godzilla’s hyper breath attack or bahamut’s mega flare (not taking into account tera flare though), I’d say its a tie. Still, if you ask me, my bets on godzilla as he’s the king of monsters and has bitten the crap out of a lot of baddass monsters (ghidorah)
However, I’d like to see bahamut go against ultimate weapon or tiamat (ff 8).

I think you give too much credit to Godzilla. Bahamut has so many references where he’s moved mountains in order to attack an enemy. One example can be found in the Babalonian transcripts of Bahamut’s rage. Anyway Bahamut’s strength is alot more than what you may beleive. O and Tiamat would beat Bahamut. Tiamat is another dragon god of old. Tiamat is a female dragon and is the mother of all monsters so Bahamut would lose that battle. But I still say he wins against Godzilla.

In GMK (Godzilla Mothra King Gidorah Giant Monsters All Out Attack) Godzilla is eventually defeated, but at the end of the movie, the camera goes into the ocean and you see Godzilla’s heart still beating and slowly regenerating a new body. Even if Bahamut shoots him with his flame breath, Godzilla has survived being in a Volcano in Godzilla 1984 and is released in Godzilla vs Biollante. The flame breath from Bahamut would do nothing. Godzilla’s atomic breath has the power 100,000 nuke bombs. In Godzilla Final Wars he defeats 9 monsters in that one movie.

  • demongrave

ok Bahaut doesn’t use flames. He shoots high concentrated, pure energy out of his mouth that causes more destruction than the most powerful weapons known to man. Plus I’m pretty sure that Bahamut could withstand Godzilla’s breath attack by casting protective magiks over himself.

Firstly, Bahamut Zero does not even exist…mind you, this is only a (in-game) showing, that’s like saying “Knights of the Round Table” exist! Which is absolutely ridiculous.

To go, this match is a no contest, Godzilla wins, easily and utterly. Firstly, Bahamut himself is a powerful creature, however, he himself can be defeated by Power Soldier Classes. Zack was shown in Crisis Core single handedly defeating Bahamut, which goes to show again, even powerful single human beings in the VII world is capable of doing so.

Which goes to another thing, Godzilla’s capabilities far surpass that of Zack’s and with this, he would easily defeat Bahamut. I don’t see Bahamut blowing up meteor’s or Black Holes with his Beam attack. Godzilla wins this one, although Bahamut is a mighty creature, it is not on the same level as that of Godzilla.

Yes, the Advent Children one was indeed a Bahamut, it was made on purpose to look differently, as ugly as it was. Cloud was shown being able to single handedly kill Bahamut as well, along with other characters like Zack, and I’m sure Vincent would have been capable of doing so (With his Form, he’s more powerful then Cloud is, only beaten out in abilities by Sephiroth) along with obviously Sephiroth.

    Godzilla>>>Bahamut.

It depends on the Godzilla. Bahamut is a dragon god, sure, but he’s not THAT big, but compaired to GZ he’s faster, but pacts WAYY less power than Godzilla. A good tail whip could shatture a bone or wing and a few ribs, plus the Atomic Breath…. Boom. The fight will last long sure, but Godzilla (anyone Except babay) will win. Also, Godzillas taken down bigger and badder monsters that dominate in over him in both power, speed, and most with epic weaponery or an ability that dominate over him. Sure he needed help for a few of them, but Still, Godzilla dominates.

    Godzilla defeats:
    King Ghidorrah
    Gigan v.1 and Gigan v.2
    American Zilla
    Mechagodzilla
    Titanosaurus
    Megagurius
    Orga
    Rodan
    Kiryu
    Monster X
also the Mighty Space Godzilla and the Terrifying Destoroyah!!!!!!!

so Bahamut doesn’t have any chances to defeat God’s pet to defend earth and destroy the destroyers…… GODZILLA!!!!

really, is that so well from what i’ve seen about bahahut that is very unlikely, first godzilla has way harder skin than bahamut . plus if your talking speed wise godzilla killed mechagurus witch is a dragonfly monster, it moves with amazing speed by this i mean faster than bahamut.and one last thing explain your statement of ”he would eradicate him from existence”.

I’m going with D&D Bahamut here since Final Fantasy only stole him.

First off, between his raw size, regeneration, and insurmountable will, I’d say godzilla has a good chance at not dying instantly.

That being said, Bahamut is a mid-tier GOD. He and Tiamat are to dragons what dragons are to komodo dragons. We’re talking continent curbstomping power here and the intelligence to apply it in fashions human minds aren’t built to fathom.

Later, Godzilla finds himself reincarnated as a golden dragon…

well now that you ask he withstood a meteor impact, missiles bombs and thunder weaponry is useless.and since he can be in a volcano for 10 years and he withstood a mirror weapon that reflected his own laser with 10x the heat and power of godzilla’s laser and shrugged it off, not only that but he overloaded it and destroyed it.so is that what you call PROOF. plus describe the destruction facts of megaflare.

idk if this is D&D bahamut of FF bahamut..
but against book godzilla and comic godzilla he’s done if its FF version.

Godzilla himself as several impressive feats such as battling Thor and the God of Thunder comparing him to the great Serpent, destroying a black hole the moment its event horizon activated, reacting to a FTL comet carrying Monster X/Kaizer Ghidorah, moving the Earth’s tectonic plates from the indirect force of Heisei Godzilla and Batarah’s battle.

before throwin around fanboy, you should really look at who to accuse, people are throwing around god-bahamut from D&D, and bahamut Zero from crisis core. no one is really on subject and which one isnt specified. which is what you bahamut people need to do because godzilla is pretty much consistant, only with power leaps in the comics.

If we’re going with the Dragon God of D&D Bahamut, then more than likely a single Wish spell should do to BFR Godzilla and win. In a straight physical confrontation, I’m not sure who to put my bet on, but I do think Godzilla would be more than capable of hurting the Platinum Dragon. Really, D&D Bahamut’s biggest advantage would be his magical prowess.

If we’re talking about the Final Fantasy ‘verse Bahamut, I think Godzilla has a much easier time in the fight, and could possibly win fairly easily. The problem with FF is that Bahamut is usually limited to summoning, and so we don’t really get to see what he can do beyond the one attack. Speaking of which, Godzilla’s atomic breath could negate a Mega Flare, from what I’ve seen, and I’m sure the super spiral ray would be able to protect the big G from “Bahamut Fury” and his uber planet-asplodin’-in-your-face-attack.

  • cjrodarte
    February 12, 2010

so godzilla has close combat and ranged advantage but Bahamut has the power of magic on his side. even if he could destroy godzilla, he would regenerate back to kill him. unless he is specificaly has a immunity to heat but if not godzilla wins.
