Dark Light
Furon Saucer Vs Slave I
Furon Saucer Vs Slave I

Two great crafts face off against each other. For this match the battle takes place on a planet, so that interaction with the environment is more likely (and causing more destruction).

While this would be a fun match to watch, in the end I think Fett’s ship will win the day.

What say you?

Doesn’t the Furon Saucer have a black hole gun, nuclear bomb generator thing and a tornado producer? Yeahhh it wins because of the ridiculous factor.

Hmm… I can’t find much info on the saucer. Knowing that the Slave 1 can withstand several turbo cannon blasts without phasing out too badly, (turbo blasts are like nuclear explosians the world over, they would make Truman blush) do you think the saucer can withstand the same thing? I can only assume that what the Admin meant by “and causing more destruction” meant that this battle took place in a city, correct? If this is the case, Fett is very tricky in enviroments like these even in slave 1. Do you think Crypto’s saucer can withstand a couple sonic charges, or if he was caught in Fett’s tractor beam and received multiple missle strikes. I havn’t played Destroy all Humans for a while, but I’m sure Fett has the advantage here. But then again, I’m not too keen on Crypto’s saucer, or Crypto himself for that matter.

The saucer definitely couldn’t stand prolonged fire from Slave 1, but does have the ability to recover health from other vehicles that would no doubt be around the city. Still, it might not have the time to do so.

I’m inclined to agree that Fett wouldn’t give Cryto the chance to do so. With multiple shielding systems, (one of which is on par with a victory 1-class star destroyer) unspeakable firepower, sophisticated jamming systems that might disrupt the saucer and make Slave 1 invisible to it’s sensers, high speeds in spite of what the Rogue Squadron games suggest, etc. Plus this is the Fett Man piloting Slave 1. Still, I don’t have a grand knowledge of the saucer.

Has anyone mentioned the Hyperdrive engine ten times faster than the Imperial-1 Star Destroyer?

This is without a doubt, the greatest ship in the Galaxy.

    And that’s no overstatement.

So Boba’s ship is so powerful you shoot it down using a blaster pistol in the Shadows of the Empire game?

“So Boba’s ship is so powerful you shoot it down using a blaster pistol in the Shadows of the Empire game?”

Most of the game is considered non-canon. Very few aspects of the game have been taken in to the SW timeline seriously.

I find it to be 100% canon, it’s not like Luke faught the Emperor before Return of the Jedi or anything…I mean the whole story is plausible have you read it?

Yes. The book and comic is cannon, but not the game. A little bit of it was considered canon, even refrenced in some source books. But for the most part it is non-canon

Oh crap! I forgot to ask in the other post. How? I keep trying to debug the system, with no avail… I’ve even tried the wampastompa cheat…

    “IG-88 was a bitch to beat though…”

That stage completely dominated me for the longest time. All those grav-carts and then to face a very tough IG-88…

    It was brutal.
