This match falls into the group battles category in order to make things fun. While I would personally give the edge to the Chimera, it doesn’t completely rule out a possible victory by the Flood.

What say you?

They built the halo rings as a last resort weapon if all other plans would fail.And that’s what happened mendicant bias attacked the forerunners and they had no choice to activate it.Who said they didn’t built any fleet or sentinel army?
Those 5 gouys were possibly the only survivors but we don’t know that.They secured flood amples to studie them and to learn their weakness.The forerunners themself left the galaxy behind.

mendicant bias may have turned on the forerunners, by they created offensive bias who was able to hold his own against on enemy that far outnumbered him, so if the resources used to create the halos was put into ship building, it would have given offensive bias the ships he needed to beat mendicant, epecially if the downsized halo tech to be able to be used in fleet vs fleet battle, and once flood controled ships where destroyed, the forerunners could take their time to wipe the planet bound ones out.

but the greatest stupidity, is leaving flood samples alive, if the forerunners are alive and choose to leave this galaxy why leave flood behind, for others to come across and release which they did, and if the forerunners died when they used the halos, why leave behind samples of the very think you sacrificed everthing to destroy only for it to come back and bite everyone else in the ass.

Personly, I would support the Flood as they have the Gravemind, a huge, Flood sopre who feeds information to the rest of the Flood. He is a genious and can program any circuit.

Regardless, the flood work via a virus and can coordinate via unknown yet instantaneous means.
