Tough match here for the defender of the universe. I know more about Voltron than Ecsaflowne, but I know that anime typically has overpowered mecha and weaponry. I’d like to see Voltron take this, but I’m not sure.

I would go with Escaflowne only because I like the show and the movie better than Voltron. I don’t really remember what that mecha is capable of doing.

In the Movie Escaflowne was capable of destroying the world. In the series it transformed into a Dragon it was Badass for its world Ran on dragon hearts but I think it may be the underdog in this fight.

I used to LOVE Escaflowne.
But it isn’t aired in the UK anymore. 
Well, for this one I’m going for Van’s mecha, Escaflowne.

OH COME ON! ANOTHER uneven mecha fight? What the hell?!
sigh…
Anyway, while escaflone is several times the machine than some super sentai pile-o-feces, voltron is just plan BIGGER than poor Esca-chan. It’s like the M1A1 Abrams MBT squaring of with the Bismark. Game over man, Game over.

Last time I check an outdated WWI Swordfish open-cockpit torpedo biplane disabled the mightly Bismark and caused it’s fall. As the old saying goes Size Doesn’t Matter.

Yes, but the plane was fast enough to dodge the cannons and run like hell once it hurt the bismark. Note that the swordfish alone would not have a chance against any capital ship.
