Well, not much more to say then what the title says, right? It’s Dungeons & Dragons, Online, and now it’s free.
So, you really have no excuse not to play it now, right?

All of my runescape addict friends say D&D is queer and runescape done wrong. . .

Well, not totally free. You still need pay in order to get into some new areas, get better equipment, etc. My Dwarf will be forever trapped in the Inn where I left him unless I pay for the exclusive area content. Lord of the Rings Online will soon be “free.” Much better game in my opinion.
Everything will DIEEE when 40k: Dark Millennium comes out!

Unfortunately, Dark Millennium is no sure thing. The developer only has a single major game on their record as far as I know, the game uses rather old graphich which turns some people off, the 40K verse ain’t THAT popular and that damn Star Wars game is in the makings. I still think the game can be very good, and it already has a kickass setting, but these sorts of games are completely reliant on popularity.

Dark Millennium is still 2-3 years away from being completed. What I’ve seen already looks badass. I’m positive it will be a huge success.
New games, novels, and now a full length feature film. I would have to say that 40k is becoming increasingly popular and will continue to grow.

Horrible Mistake #2 , Having friends that think the God father of Computer RPG’s is Queer
Horrible Mistake #3 , those Same Friends Implying that D&D came AFTER Runescape

Overlord, I think you don’t quite understand what the discussion is about. Age of Empires is a strategy game, they’re discussing MMORPG’s
