For this match, they are staying strictly with their swords. While it might not be a battle to the death, of these two, whom is the better swordsman?

While I have seen more of Blades sword work and haven’t seen much of Deadpool’s. I would go with Blade however I remember seeing Deadpool cut a bullet in half which is impressive so I’m going to go with Deadpool for now.

According to the Marvel Database, both of these fighters are top-class users of the sword(and many other weapons besides) and possess superhuman speed, agility, stamina, and a regenetive healing factor.

I’m leaning towards Blade, however, because he has an advantage that Deadpool doesn’t. He has superhuman physical strength, while Deadpool is only at the level of a peak human. Blade’s much stronger blows and blocks will be the edge he needs to take this swordfight.

People can say something online without it necessarily being true. I’m basing my understanding of both character’s strengths on information from the Marvel Database, and it clearly states that Deadpool does not have strength beyond a peak human. If his upper level of strength is just shy of what’s considered superhuman in Marvel(lift 800 pounds), then it might appear nearly superhuman to observers, but won’t hold water against someone who really has superhuman strength, and can lift pounds by the thousands.

Deadpool wins this hands down. He’s the superior combatant, his healing factor is superior to that of wolverines, and he’s also adept at throwing people off the fight with his wise-cracks and due to Blade’s temper He would definitley fall to into that trap. Also Deadpool has defeated much tougher, stronger and faster opponents then blade one time seven at once. No Deadpool has this in the bag.

If its movie Deadpool he still wins since had adamanitine bone like wolverine and Cyclop’s optic blasts which are powerful enough to level buildings. Once again Deadpool wins.

Hate to break it to ya mate, but that youtube vid is nothing special. People have pulled the splitting the bullet trick for years using axes. In truth katanas are not the world’s greatest swords. They be good but they aren’t the best. they have their advantages and disadvantages.

Anyway, on topic, I personally think Deadpool wins this. The guy just won’t die, but as this is match in swords skills, I personally think Deadpool still wins this. Mostly because he’s so frigging unpredictable. Blade may be good, but he’ll most likely be thrown off by Deadpool. Plus DP’s regenerative abilities would allow him to pull stunts that most sane swordsmen would only pull if they’re desperate.

Deadpool’s healing factor will be only of minimal help here. While he might be able to outlast Blade in a fight to the death, this is only a fight of swordsmanship. I don’t see Deadpool’s moves as being enough to best Blade, given the Daywalker’s superior physical powers.

Deadpool gets this one without a shadow of a doubt. He is simply a better fighter and blade’s strength is of no real advantage since Deadpool has beaten stonger, faster, samrter, and better skilled fighters 7 at a time once.

True doesn’t Blade need to drink blood to heal himself. If he tries to suck Deadpool’s blood maybe he can heal himself. Which would be hard for him to do but I would love to see Deadpool’s reaction.

I don’t even think the Fangs would work. It want matter much Deadpool cells with regeneration in a rapid rate. I just stated that if Blade wants to heal his wounds he needs blood and the only person near by is Deadpool. Even if he sucked Deadpool dry he will come back from it.

If you know what you are talking abut you would know that Deadpool can attach any cut off limb and even attach his head because of his immensly good healing factor. some of you really dont’t know what you are talking about.

deadpool cannot die no matter how much you hurt him. its not my opinion he is cursed by death herself to not have the luxruy of death. The deadpool in the movi is shit so i go by comic deadpool. and blade didnt kill the blood god in a one on one fist fight. he stopped it from being unleashed. Blade also will lose control due to his blood lust and his healing factor is nowhere near dps cuz dps is always on.

Wade (DP) killed a god YEARS ago… and a much bigger god than Vlad. And he’ll lay waste to Blade as well (even though I do like the character). Why?

If it is based on swordmanship and they’re both top class, then it is their swords themselves that will decide. And Deadpool’s is made of stronger stuff.

Also, Blade’s speed doesn’t match Deadpool’s thanks to his teleporter.

Considering that Blade can’t regenerate nearly at the levels of Deapool I’d go with DP for a fight to the death. I would also say that DP is a better swordfighter as he does things only possible with his abilities with a sword.

actually, with fresh blood in this system, he instantaneously regenerates, so his healling can be better than deadpools, also blade has super human speed and strength so with just swords i think i might pick blade now, they both “die” the same way, removing the head from the body

I think I need to remind everyone of one crucial factor in this duel:

Healing factors mean absolutely nothing. That DP cannot die means absolutely nothing. That Blade could regenerate by drinking blood means nothing. This is purely a swordfight.

BTW, since everyone seems to think DP has superhuman strength, can we see some proof? A link or something?

can’t deadpool teleport and like shoot cyclops’s beam from his eyes, according to the movie? Blade won’t have much chance than.
If deadpool didn’t have all that, Blade might have a chance cuz he’s pretty damn strong, fast, and a skilled vampire tracker. But again, Deadpool’s bones are like unbreakable so…
