I think marvel wins simply because they have a larger roster and more heavyweights to deal with. You could even add wildstorm to dc and it wouldn’t be enough. Thats not saying that justice league can’t beat the avengers or that superman isn’t the most powerful man on earth. In fact dc sometimes ,not always ,has better stories with less books where marvel you may have to buy 50 books to complete a story arc. DC doesnt handle as many powerful foes or big time disasters as marvel does. Sure you can say that one universe has one all powerful being that trumps everybody else but thats a cop out. anybody can come up with a character and say that he’s got a bigger schlong than anything they have. You got to look at it as a whole. one companies line up against anothers.

ok, i simply say DC, because they have superman. who has gone up against most of the marvel people and ended up curbstomping them in the end. sure marvel may have more heroes, but most of them are all flash and no bash, they don’t really fight like other heroes do. and most of the DC people fight better than most of the marvel people do, marvel has the advantage of numbers, but DC has the advantage of skill.

well considering marvel has a race called the infinites one of them could probably solo most of dc by themself so long as dc’s omnipotent was neutralised by toaa

Marvel heroes tend to out think their opponents at the very end. They get beat up, bashed up, and nearly brought to death. But they have grit and determination. DC would dominate, but Marvel would epically blast them to nothing at the very end.

marvel win this. Superman and Lobo may cause some problems, but marvels much bigger team can handle them. marvel ftw!

The Beyonder’s power is omnipotence.
The phrase ‘Nuff said has never been truer.
Both are usually the strongest fictional universes and both have an omnipotent being that are pretty much benchmarks for other creator entities in fiction, so it’s a draw. And as far as preference goes, I was never really a fan of comics, but I’ll go with Dc, since their heroes seem to be more classic and their women are so much hotter (fap fap fap).

@akelz7, Dc has the Presence, so it could only end in a tie and nothing more.

First of all, EPIC of any battle EVER! While DC came out first, Marvel has so much more characters. The charachters I consider in this match for DC, Ozymandias, with his squid psycic bomb, Dr. Manhattan, because nothing can defeat him, and Superman, Because his only weakness is kryptonite. For Marvel, Galactus, he can destroy the whole planet the battle is taking place on, Wolverine, it is very unlikely anyone on DC will have an adamantium bullet, even if they did Wolverine would still be alive, and Magneto, you know how much metal would be on the battlefield. Even If Galactus destroys the whole planet, DC will never truly be defeated, because there is nothing that can kill, or hurt Dr. Manhattan. Read or watch the movie, WATCHMEN, everything I say about him will make better sense. Theoretically, Marvel wins, but Dr. Manhattan can obliterate everyone and everything. DC, Marvel, etc. always have alternate endings, dimensions, realities, etc. but DC wins with one man left standing, Dr. Manhattan.
