Here is a fight that would have a ton of carnage. In order for the Daleks to win, they’d have to strike first, hard and heavy. Otherwise, the victory would swing to the other side.
What say you?

While 8472 (is that a mistake I can spot up there btw Admin?) are the pinnacle of evolution, the Darleks are arguably the pinnacle of technology.
I’d say the Darleks have this due to their weaponry, capable of vaporizing pretty much anything. As well as their shields, capable of shielding against…pretty much anything.
And of course, there’s that reality bomb of theirs…

Thanks admin for doing this one, two of my fights in one day, awesome! I think this would be an amazing fight as both species are incredibly powerful, but I think that the Daleks would win after a hard fight.

As much as I like the Daleks, I’m going with 8472. Species 8472 defeated and instilled fear in the hearts of the Borg. A designation given by the Borg (the species’ real name is unknown, although the Hirogen refer to them as ‘Fluidians’), Species 8472 has a dense genetic structure, with each cell containing more than a hundred times the genetic material than that of a human cell because of their tri-helical DNA structure. On the cellular level, Species 8472′s own somatic cells can become extremely virulent when in a foreign blood-stream, duplicating themselves rapidly. When a member of Species 8472 attacks a victim with its claws, some of the former’s cells are left in the wound. These stray cells multiply, spreading out through the victim’s entire body, consuming it from the inside out while the victim remains conscious. As the attacking cells employ the same advanced immune response as when inside the creature, they are able to resist conventional treatment methods.
Species 8472 are telepathic and in Star Trek: Voyager send Kes and Tuvok telepathic messages.
This species is from a different dimmension, know as fluidic space. Species 8472′s anatomy is unique in that they possess three five-jointed, even-toed ungulate feet or hooves. They have cross shaped pupils, and communicate exclusively through telepathy. They have a tall, thin, skeletal body that possess very little soft-tissue, and appendages appear to be supported by sinuous strands of muscle. Their outward appearance is marked mainly by bony crests located on their chest and disproportionately large heads, giving them a generally gangly appearance. They have as many as five genders, each of which apparently occupies a different region of Fluidic Space. Species 8472 can also survive the unprotected rigors of normal space, and appears to not need to breathe an atmosphere, or even the organic fluid present in its own realm. Members of Species 8472 emit a biogenic field around their bodies which interferes with normal transporters and renders it partially invisible to sensors. It is one of the most evolutionarily advanced species encountered in the Star Trek universe. However, while species like the Borg have reached the pinnacle of technological achievement through assimilation, Species 8472 has established dominance based on their biological superiority. Their powerful biology renders them immune to most Federation scanning technology and has prevented their assimilation by the Borg.
Species 8472 possess incredible strength and stamina as demonstrated in the episode “Prey”, when a single member of Species 8472 was attacked by a Hirogen hunting party with heavy weapons. Thinking it dead, they then took it back to their ship. They soon found out otherwise after the alien badly injured the Alpha Hirogen and decapitated his subordinate. When the alien made its way across Voyager’s hull, it tore open a bulkhead to gain access to the ship. Though the alien was badly injured, it eventually regenerated its wounds, and it appeared to be capable of surviving and recovering from significant injury. Members of Species 8472 exclusively attack with their claws and raw strength; they never use a handheld weapon, instead allowing their superior immune system to be used in an offensive role.
Species 8472 live in fluidic space, a different dimension (possibly outside our universe although it is stated that it is only definitely outside our galaxy). Fluidic space is a continuum filled with an organic fluid. Fluidic space has no stars, no planets and no nebulae. However, in Star Trek armada II, fluidic space has several nebulae which are refered to as fluidic nebulea, and are identical in nature to the ones produced by the massive behemoth class bioship.
Species 8472 uses a type of organic spacecraft known only as a bioship, controlled by a single pilot (or at least capable of being flown by a single crew member). Because bioships are made of the same organic material as their pilots, it is possible that Species 8472 control the ships telepathically, although Species 8472 have been witnessed operating a console to pilot the bioship. A bioship explored by the Voyager crew had a breathable atmosphere; however, as it was attached to a Borg cube at the time, it may have simply taken on air when it penetrated the hull.
Each bioship possesses an electrodynamic fluid circulatory system presumably for the distribution of power, a neurological computer core, an incredibly powerful biogenic energy weapon system, and warp capability. The hull can change shape to attach to other ships, melting through the hull, and can rapidly heal damage. The vessel can function effectively in both normal space and Fluidic space. The bioship’s main weapon is powerful enough to destroy a Borg cube in only a few shots. Likewise, when a Borg cube rammed a bioship to destroy it, both vessels were annihilated despite the comparatively smaller mass of the bioship. The weapons of eight bioships (referred to in Star Trek: Armada II as ‘Species 8472 Battleships’) can be linked with that of a larger ninth bioship of modified design (referred to in Star Trek: Armada II as a ‘Species 8472 bio-frigate’); the collective weapon thus formed can destroy an entire planet in seconds.

I’ve just changed my mind this wouldn’t be a hard fight for the Daleks they would beat Species 8472 easily, because as powerful as Species 8472 are they have nothing to compete with the Daleks superweapons. Easy win for the Daleks(sad to say though because I think Species 8472 are awesome).

I’m thinking species 8472 infect The Daleks via their immune system and confuse them with telepathy.

“I’m thinking species 8472 infect The Daleks via their immune system and confuse them with telepathy.”
I’d like to see them try that after all of fluid space has been destroyed by a Dalek superweapon. Even if they got into direct fights with Daleks, Species 8472 wouldn’t be able to infect them as they would be inside their sheilded armour. Also I don’t really see the Daleks being affected by Species 8472′s telepathy very much as I believe they would have fought telepaths before(telepathic abilities are quite common in Doctor Who) and if Species 8472 started trying to mess with Daleks minds I think it would just make the Daleks angrier.

daleks might be immune to bullets
daleks might be immune to grenades

I’d like to see one that is immune to claws

Well, The Doctor managed to kill Dalek with a hat (by covering its eye piece) so I’m willing to bet the psychic abilities of 8472 could have a major impact. Don’t get me wrong, I love the Daleks.
but I think 8472 could just beat them.

@Battra Boy: As I said though, the Daleks have superweapons that will wipe out every member of species 8472 in one blast. They just don’t have anything to stop/resist that.
P.S. About the hat thing, I think that sort of thing only works for the Doctor as the Daleks often act like complete morons when they go up against him LOL.

The Daleks would just use the reality bomb

“I thought the reality bomb only affected the so called normal universe. Not fulidic space”
The reality bomb was said to be capable of destroying all of creation, also, it was to penetrate a time rift, ensuring that all alternate universes and dimensions would be destroyed as well.

Excuse me peeps, but you are all forgetting that the daleks have the reality bomb which has the power to destroy every dimentions, universes, realities and hell, just about everything, so poor joshmcface it does destroy everything. 8472 may need the Docs help in that area

the doctor beat the daleks and he is usually opposed to violence, in fact, he beat the daleks uncountable times.
i think that the daleks are great aliens as far as dr who goes, (though i prefer the cybermen, DELETE, DELETE).
in the end, the fury of the 8472, a race that WIPED THE FLOOR with the borg, one of the most overpowered race IN STAR TREK, would win.

I just think the Dalek’s shields are too powerful for Species 8472 to contend with and the Daleks aren’t effected by psychic paper, so I kinda have my doubts about them being affected by 8472′s psychic powers not that it would matter seeing as that just about everything in the Dr. Who universe is psychic…

The Daleks also have universe and galaxy destroying weapons, they have ships with instant FTL, ships that can crack planets like eggs and shatter stars, they have grenades that can destroy mountains, they have the Crucible, and the standard armor used by their soldiers can survive on a Planet when it goes boom, being mostly intact.

The Daleks, with their superior armour and weapons capable of vapourizing most anything, will prevail over Species 8472. 8472′s ability to infect the Daleks with their cells is a moot point, since the Daleks have armour that is unaffected by ranged weapons, plus the Daleks would vapourize 8472 before they even got close enough. Even if 8472 reaches a Dalek, it still has to contend with its armour that its claws won’t get past. Daleks win, end of story.
