Both of these mecha are making their debut on FactPile. The UEF Mongoose is from the Supreme Commander franchise, while the Spartan Destroid is from Robotech.
For my money, the only way the Mongoose could win is in a mid-range fight. The Spartan has the range advantage with the missile capacity, and in close combat, they are extremely flexible and fast.
Is there any chance for the Mongoose to win?

Here we have a match in which I think is for the Goa Uld to lose. Covenant weaponry has a lot to offer, but I just don’t see how they could pull off a victory here.

Here we have two weapons that are typically used to deliver victory for the character using them. Especially here on FactPile, Master Chief always seems to end up having a laser when going against a tough opponent.
Regardless, I think I’ll take the BFG 9000 for the win.

This falls into the Mecha category since it requires someone to hold the weapon to use it. While the Force Pike certainly can be lethal, I just don’t think it could withstand the attack of someone who has had their halberd for a great period of time.

Here we have a match in where I am taking the complete fanboy route and pick the SDF-1 from Robotech to win while I wait for L-W’s reply to show me at least 13 ways in which the SSD is superior.
But take it easy on the old Admin, he’s celebrating his birthday!

While it’s common knowledge here that just about everything from the Warhammer 40K universe is typically overpowered when matched against other weapons and vehicles from other universes. However, where they have strength in the power, some sacrifices must be made. And that is how White Glint would win this match.
Sure the Imperator has a ton of weaponry. But unless it can hit it’s target first, White Glint is just too fast and that maneuverability is what will give it the victory.

Here we have an interesting match between a fictional and real vehicle used today. While the Warthog might look better to some, it doesn’t provide for much protection. Even if the Warthog was armed with a Gauss cannon, I think I would like my chances better in the Humvee.

I have to confess that previous to this request, I had no idea what the “Bolo” was about. After doing some research it seems to be a very cool series worth checking out. Now, we all know the power that the Warhameer 40K universe brings, but I am going with the Bolo for this match.

Excellent idea here. While I truly enjoy my smart phone and all it has to offer, there is no way it will ever replace my trusty pc. My computer just offers much more power and ability to get things done. I know I couldn’t run FP without it!
