Not sure how much the AT-ST has a chance in this match in any given scenario. Just about any terrain the Hammerhead has the advantage. So, is there any scenario where the AT-ST can win?

So, is there any scenario where the AT-ST can win?-no theres not. Simple.

AT-ST loses badly. The advanced Imperial “armor” won’t save it. The thing explodes when it falls over for Emperor’s sake.

AT-ST will get rammed and be destroyed lmao.

If they miss the first shot then it will be a two shot kill

What are the dimensions of the Hammerhead?
If its wider than an AT-ST, then an AT-ST could win in a room with a low indestructible ceiling and a forest of indestructible pillars that creates gaps so that an AT-ST can maneuver but a Hammerhead (and its turret) can’t.
Basically, a situation in which the Hammerhead can’t move or bring its weapons to bear but an AT-ST can…
But such a scenario is highly unlikely so the Tau win.

Who decided to pit a Main Battle Tank against a Scout transport? You may as well put a Humvee against an M1 Abrams for crying out loud?

c’mon give the gunship the award… and perhaps another one for shortest fight ever? I don’t know but its possible.

I don’t see how this is even fair…. one universe’s most advanced tank vs. a fucking unbalanced walker that can de defeated with catapults.

That implies that the AT-ST is atleast as maneuverable as the hammerhead.
No contest here

This is just fiction abuse. In no way, shape, or form is this even remotely close to fair.

So I think an award is due, there has been no -wait there can be no defense of how the at-st could win.

Why not have a sentinel vs an At-St, they’re pretty much the same thing.

If the gunship deployed the gundrones it had than that might be remotely fair any other scenario no chance.

@chewie6000
We have not had that match, we had one similar:

I’m sure that an AT-ST would have a considerable advantage over any Sentinel pattern. However, feel free to make the Battle Request or go to the Alternate Battles section of the Forums.

“God I was an ass there ”
We live, we learn, we grow. If we all looked for our early posts, we will most likely see them as less than favorable.

the tanks of the god emperors imperium have trouble dealing with hammerheads
a sentinal wannabe has no chance.
railgun=win
burst cannons= smaller win

wow thats sad the at-st’s have lazers so its like a sentinel with twin mounted lasguns vs the tau hammerhead gunship with like what 7in. wide rail gun, gun drones and more speed, armour, firepower, and manourability, lol.
