MySpace - Can you make money from those users?

November 15, 2006 by admin · Leave a Comment

If you haven’t heard of MySpace, I suggest you pull the plug to your internet connection and return to your life as a hermit.

MySpace is essentially the web’s hang-out place - it’s intentions are to get you re-introduced to your old high school friends (unless you’re still suffering through it), sets up possible dates, lets you see local events, and tries to give everyone a sense of Internet coolness.

This is all great, but for the amazing amount of traffic that the site generates, can you target any one audience, and try to sell a product or service to them?

Methinks that would be a hard task.

Not that you shouldn’t try, and I am sure there are enough products and services that the MySpace crowd would be interested in.

But can you get your message to them without getting flagged as spam? Craigslist users do a great job of policing spammy postings, when there are avid readers of a certain topic.

To get rich in America, you need to have a product that has 2 things:

1.) sell for $20 or less
2.) can be purchased at Wal-Mart

Every piece of white trash can afford a $20 item.

So, with that in mind, I ask if anyone “out there” has had any success in doing this - I’d love to hear your thoughts…

How to get 10 “Diggs” on Digg - and make the front page!

November 13, 2006 by admin · Leave a Comment

If you don’t know about the site named digg.com, then, you need to go back to your blind AOL world and stay there.

For the rest of you, here’s how you can game the system for diggalicious results:

1.) Post about Digg - Flattery gets you everywhere
2.) Be a digg junkie and buy a shirt like I did digg
3.) Steal other people’s articles on getting dugg on digg and 10 steps to guarentee your digg
4.) Then steal articles on Digg making it harder to get dug and how now that YouTube got sold, is digg next?
5.) Use diggSpy to see what people are digging - duh!
6.) Bash Microsoft, Google, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo WII, Halo 3 and Final Fantasy.
7.) Praise Apple, WikiPedia, Google, Microsoft and Digg.
8.) Harass all your friends to “digg” your post.
9.) Post your Digg list and tag your site on De.licio.us, Technorati, reddit, etc.
10.) Make sure you write a “Top Ten” or “How To” post.

Enjoy beyatches….

OK, I am quick to admit that wikipedia is pretty good, but it’s stiull got some issues - since I know a “black hatter” who is supposed to be on the “editorial” committee, I know that wiki is being gamed for seo purposes. It’s becasue of that I have no proiblem posting this halo 3 link to W. Or this link to Halo 3 Cheats

Halo 3 Pre-Release

November 9, 2006 by admin · Leave a Comment

Yup, I saw it today at GameStop - Halo 3 was officially available to pre-order. So, of course, I entered and plunked down the $100 for the “Legendary” version - apparently you get all kinds of collector crap with the game.

But while it was cool to see that I could pre-order the game, they told me that it wasn’t coming out until November 2007.

Crikey!
