Here is the first of it’s kind on this site - a match between two powerhouse corporations in the gaming realm.
For this argument, all of the places that each company has a hand in are fair game for discussion to help determine a winner…

Shinra Electric Company wins.
They got both the Turks and Sephiroth. That alone is enough to take down the Umbrella Corporation.

Well, there is no certainty that shinra will have sephiroth because this may be after his split with them but he would win it for them if they were still tight. The turks are a force to be reckoned with but t virus and umbrella troops may be able to take them. I’m leaning toward shinra on this but umbrella stands a darn good chance.
I give it to Shirnra if it involver straight combat, but I would give it to Umbrela if all their unholy creations (virus included) are involved. I dont think Shinra has anything in their arsenal to fight off the virus. There is no Anti-Zombification-Contagion Materia.

Ok Good idea. Of course I only saw the first movie but isn’t it true that it can only be spread through a cut or a bite. Plus Shinra is technologically advanced. They could find the cure or a vaccine. If nuthin else Hojo (Although I hate Hojo so much) could find a way to fight off the virus.

true, but considering the game is japness based, cloud is kinda normal. Anyways, shrina has this in the bag. Almost any main charcter except the female one and the cat could probley take on umbrala by themselfs. Just think of summons people, and you know no zomibe stands a chance.
Which female character? Aerith or Yuffie I understand, but Tifa OWNS! She may be a girl, but she is almost as strong as Cloud.
This is how I see it all going down
Albert Wesker arranges some sort of meeting with the president of Shinra, with the offer of a new biological weapon … and promptly infects him and his board of directors with the virus, unbeknownst to them. He makes his retreat, and soon all hell starts breaking loose in the Shinra building. Half of the upper management is infected before the troops are sent in. The chain of command is thrown way off, and at first, only the basic Shinra troops are sent to deal with the issue.. but like every other T/G - Virus infection, it’s not eradicated… only spread to the military. Soon a good portion of the Shinra troops are infected. SOLDIER is sent in to deal with the issue, and of course they kick zombie ass …. but again the infection is not eradicated… but spread to SOLDIER.
At this point, Hojo is keenly aware of what’s happening, and has been instructed to find a cure… however, as always, he’s taken matters into his own hands and began infecting mako showered troops and creatures, with the intention of building his own super army … eventually, Shinra is largely infected and battling itself, and Albert Wesker is somewhere in the shadows watching …. and fulfilling his own secret agenda, as always …
I researched the umbrella agents and the tyrant weapons and and I think umbrella may just win. With people like Wesker, Ada, Krauser, HUNK, and nemesis like enemies that are basically too tough for most weapons they might just have the stuff to bring shinra to it’s knees.
