This would make for a spectacular match up. The relentless pursuit of Agent Smith and his ability to possess any person/thing during a fight would make this battle last for quite some time. Even though this fight takes place in the Matrix, I don’t think that would help out Smith all that much…

Like I said in mc vs neo, for mc to win He has to let go of the rules of physics in the matrix like morpheus and neo did.
Matrix fights are always hard to decide, due to the fact that, in the end, it’s only a program. Albeit, a very powerful, and immensely diverse program, but a program non-the-less. And if an above/average human can pull off hacking this system, then the pinnacle of military technology and hacking in the year 2552 could definitely take down the defenses here. Not take down the program, because like I said, it’s huge, diverse, and incredibly well crafted. But for a top-of-the-line AI like Cortana, this wouldn’t be much of a problem. I mean, look what she did to the Halo systems, the havoc she caused the little blue ball when he tried to set off the rings.
But anyway, we’re still talking about the Chief, right? Well, in a fight where the matrix has been hacked, and the Chief is fighting with Cortana as back-up, then this fight would go to the Chief. It would be just like fighting the Elites, just much faster Elites that look human, and have very bad dialog. And we all know what that was like. Halo 1 and 2 anybody?
Now, it’d be a much different story, if Cortana’s brilliance wasn’t added to the picture. Then yes, either the Chief would have to be tipped off about letting go of the laws of physics, or he’d have to come with some serious crack and overshields.
Anyway, I vote for the Chief on this one. Cortana is a fair “weapon” in a matrix fight, and the victory’d go the the Chief.
Hw could cortana help? she can hack military networks and teleportation grids, I believe a perfect simulation of the world, the minds of the population, and agents who are allowed to manipulate the system hunting down and destroying threats seem like a bit much for her.

ok first off agent smith has super strength risistence to bullets and a modified desert eagle mc has shealds guns and expereance in combat though mc has cortana but the matrix has far to much informaton to hack even for a super avanced program like cortana so this is a fair fight . if agent smith got up cloce
mc can’t win agent smith wolud just punch him through a wall or sompthing but at long range mc might snipe him . hmmmm

I don’t know about this one. master chief may have all of his fighting skills but if master chief did manage to injure agent smith really bad agent smith could just transform into another person like he did in the first matrix movie. this fight may go on until everyone on the earth was killed by the cheif. Eternal fight????

i meant that she can do more than just hack milatary networks,she has hacked systems far more advanced then her own creators.

Smith is to big, your gonna need a 2 gig flash drive and toss it in a lake.
Mr. Smith would definitely win because all he would have to do id say “Hello Mr. Anderson” And MCs head would blow up

Agent smith is a computer program that was designed to have super strength and can dodge bullets. So Master Chief would fire at him with an SMG, Agent Smith would dodge them and splatter MC’s head with his desert eagle.
