Master Chief vs. Boba Fett
There are many “versus” series out there, but I haven’t seen this one so here goes:
Master Chief:

Boba Fett:

If these two faced off, who do you think would win? I’d have to give a slight edge to Fett, since he can fly to get out of the way, but with MC’s regenerating shields, he could keep Fett at bay and just outlast him.

Fett: he has wrist rockets, a miniature flame-thrower(MC’s shields in CE get eaten by fire), his jet pack also has a medium range missile launcher. Fett can also call his ship from his wrist comm. I shouldn’t know that much about star wars.

well honestly there is no way to tell without more specifics for example does the master chief have any of the weapons or vehicles in the halo series at his disposal? (id assume fett has all of his shit cause his weapons n stuff are pretty much attached to his armor right?)

Definitely MC. He could use lazers (well, plasma, but big diff) if he wanted. And though boba could get away much better if needed (jetpack and all) MC would only need to get away for 10 seconds. And the jetpack loses a little bit of effectiveness when MC has a motion sensor and Plasma nades

Master Chief. No matter how far Boba flies, every bullet of MCs will hit him, and hurt him - and hurt him permanently. Master Chief has regenerating shields, goddamnit! Oh, and one well-placed plasma grenade from Master Chief, and Boba’s gone for good

Matt don’t forget the sheild can take a hit or two, not to mention master chiefs’ armor enhances his strength, total he is strong enough to rip off boba’s arm and BEAT HIM TO DEATH WITH IT.

I also have to go with Boba Fett. The jet pack would help a lot. And he has a rocket launcher. Even with his shields, we know a Spartan can’t survive a rocket. Also, Boba Fetts ship could nuke the planet.

Master Chief would win. For one, he single-handedly defeated an army of Covenant, which Boba did not. Second, if he gets behind cover, he could just recharge his shields. Boba would slowly bleed to death. Third, if Fett tried to use his ship…rocket launcher = win.

well…..bobba’s armor….kinda hard to get threw with bullets……and he has way to many weapons to tair him up….in a hand on hand fight…mc…but in a tactical weapons fight…..fett….of coarse thy both fight with thr standerd weapons:mc batle riffle,smg,pistel and fett: 4 kinds of rockets,flame thrower,dual moded pistels,blaster rifle hand stunner….he has more…o and nades..i like fett cuz hes got a JETPACK!! And Master chief’s feats for those that don’t know:Can run at 112 km/h,dodge bullets,he was able to deflect a rocket with his arm and that rocket was over ten times faster than him.In his Mark IV he was able to destroy concrete targets with his punches,MC can flip a worthog which weighs around 3 tons and he can lift above his head 1 ton.But he punches much more hard due to his speed increase.
Without his armor and while he was a 14 year old kid he was able to kick a 300-400 kg exosuit so hard that it flew 8 meters into the air,was able to rip a steel machine gun off of the exosuit’s arm when he wasn’t wearing his armor.and while he was a 14 year old kid and without his armor he was able to dent heavy plates of armor with just two hits from his punches.
His movements are so fast that humans can barely track him and they can’t even react to his speed.MC in his mark IV armor was thrown by an explosion right through a wall and hit another wall and got back up like nothing happened.He’s bones are so strong that if an armor piercing bullets his one of his bones it just bounces off.In his mark V armor he punched an Elite’s head so hard that it was completely destroy,a rocket exploded just a couple of feet away from him,sending him and the half ton armor 6 meters into the air.MC was hurt but he could still fight at 100%.
He hit a 5 centimeter thick steel door so hard that it bent straight out,was able to fight against the flood and covenant for a whole week without sleeping.MC in his mark VI armor can take the heat that is made when reentering earth’s atmosphere.The mark VI is more powerful,has better shields and they recharge faster.
And MC has dodged bullets,read the three novels and you’ll see that MC dodges bullets almost everytime and he deflected a rocket.

Well, as much as I love MC, Boba would take this fight to the death. MC can run and jump and flip tanks, but Boba’s got rockets, which, anyone who has every played rockets on hang em high would know, are super hard to dodge if they hit the ground. Saying that Boba was taken down by Luke is silly considering Luke is the Jedi-Grand Master of the Order. Boba also has Slave-I which would kill anything in HALO less High Charity. Lasers and plasma are completely different things entirely btw. Boba’s armor is made of a) laser/plasma resistant material(which means bullet have no effect on him) and b) Cortosis which is very resiliant to a lightsaber attack. Boba wins. Period.

I TOTALLY agree with Tyler. I have read all of the Halo novels including the Ghosts of Onyx and beaten all off the games.
MC has titanium reinforced bones, superhuman strength, and superhuman reflexes. He jumped from a Pelican dropship while in the upper atmosphere without a parachute and survived the fall intact. MC excells in hand to hand combat and could literally rip Bobba Fett’s head off.
While Bobba Fett is highly skilled, he’s still just a regular human. Sure, he has neat toys but against a SPARTAN, how much do you think these would really help him. His jet pack carries a very limited ammount of fuel, as proven by the fact that he only uses it in short bursts.
In a competiton between armor, MC’s MJOLNIR mk.IV is far better than bobba fett’s mandalorian armor. While mandalorian armor is extremely hard, it is also static. MC’s mk.IV on the other hand is reactive, meaning that it absorbs shock and distributes it dissipates it evenly across the armor. Also, the mk.IV is able to contain an AI, namely Cortana. I belive she should be included as one of MC’s weapons considereing that constantly helps him analyze tactical data and hacks into enemy equipment for espionage and sabotage.
Hands down, MC would destroy Bobba Fett in any combat situation. I think a more reasonable fight would be one between Bobba Fett and an elite.

Spartan John 117 would win easily. While a rocket can kill a Spartan it can also kill Boba so no winner. As for weapons I personally prefer bullets (usually .45 an upwards) and since Boba’s shield isn’t made to withstand bullets MC has the advantage there. As for MC himself his shields were stolen from the Covenant and thus were made to deflect both bullets and lasers. A well placed sniper round will take Boba out along with a plama grenade frag grenade duel wielded SMGs or a full 60 rounds from the MA5B rifle. But then again Boba does have the Rockets and Flamethrower which will hurt. Boba’s jetpack would be a liability, not an asset due to the fact that if you shoot a jetpack it blows up. And if Boba calls in his ship, guess what, Master Chief can call in the USNC Carrier class ships Atlas, Magellan, and the All Under Heaven. Do I really have to push my point any further. Maybe in a hand to hand fight with out any armor or guns Boba would win. 99.9% of the rest of the time it would be Master Chief (Go America)

Boba Fetts armor can withstand plasma and Master Chiefs armor does regenerate…..and you know what? Boba Fetts reflexes are just as good as MCs. To be able to take on a Jedi without having the Force or holocron crystals…thats good. MC basically “has the force” physically, but not mentally (he can’t force choke). Boba Fett has also taken down the Guild from the inside out, outsmarted Kud’ar Mu’bat and evryone else hes come into contact with. Boba Fetts not just some bounty hunter, He is the greatest there ever was even more so than his father. If it’s a matter of reflexes, there a match….strength, MC……tactics, its a match….gadgets, Boba Fett. Also, Boba Fett is not just human. The way he is trained to his suit and weapons pretty much makes him half robot. They are just as much a part of him as his beating heart. So MC is genetically enhanced while Boba Fett is Everything else enhanced. hmmm….lets see….Jedi defeats MC……Boba Fett defeats Jedi AND outsmarts the Sith………The ONLY thing MC has on The Fett is height. Fett wins. Period.

Fett can simultaniously use his flamethrower and rockets or blaster at the same time. so when he’s eating up MC’s shield with fire he can shoot at just the right time and MC’s dead. and Boba Fett does dodge bullets. bullets, lasers (point blank), arrows, missiles, Force thrown objects, lightsabers, etc. i admit he made a mistake when Han Solo bumped into his jet pack when he wasn’t paying attention but it’s not like MC NEVER made a mistake (he crashed a Banshee into The Pillar of Autumn). And also the only reason MC would need to run that fast is if he’s running from Boba Fett cause if they were in a distance race for some reason Boba Fett could use his Slave 1, which by the way kept up with the Millenium Falcon, one and a half time light speed. Try and rip a hole in that space time continuum and judge it right. If you go too far and wait for Fett, he’ll blow right by in a split second. And if the race was through an asteroid field, forget it. Fett Wins!!!!!!!

first of all his mark six armor is resiliant to flamethrowes and dont even talk about there ships u deusch because if he takes a covenat ship(he has before) he would kill bobbas ship. first of all it has withstood over a hundred missiles and a nuke at point plank and just drove away and they can go faster than the speed of light. and ive seen and read about bobba fett and he cannot react as fast as mc, without armour and adreniline mc can react at 20 milliseconds. and first of all mc can pown a jedi all he has to do is shoot duel smg’s at them because ya they can reflect lasers but those go really slow compared to bulletsand according to the books he can withstand a rocket. a missile designed to destroy tanks went of a meter or two away from him and he got right back up ad ran (and that missile is double the size of the ones in a rocket launcher)

ok lets look through what each has:
MC
Trained to kill from a little boy and was genetically enhanced at the age of 14 which ontop of his training he has superhuman strength and speed with a Mark IV Full body suit capable of withstanding a tank blast from 2meters lasers,bullets and fire once his over shield is down master chief still has his suit wich is impervious to bullets and can probably withstand a laser shot.
weapons of choice id give master chief a needler which would home into bobo n if enough hits him BOOM aslo a Spartan laser which is an anti tank laser which is certainly capable of getting through mr bobos aclaimed laser prof armour and a energy sword for close combat which would slice bobo in half id also give master chief plasma granades and shield granades which can happily withstand a plasma cannon blast from a wraith seen in the 59 second trailer so that takes care of bobos missles which are like 1 fifth of the power to a plasma cannon strike from a tank.

well hes a guy who was trained also to kill as a kid but he wasnt made superhuman and doesnt have the strength or speed of MC but probs better than the average human ill give him that. His suit isnt exactly a full body suit as like 50% of it is cloth lining that has a few resistances which i read his suit up and it says it reduces pysical and blast impacts REDUCES them not totally counts them out and reduces injurys and the likely hood of knockdowns and it got added protection to fire acid and intence heat and cold hmmmm nothing about stops laser shots bullets only Reduced the shock from them looks like a spartan laser from MC would isintegrate him and u cant dodge a spartan laser unless mr boba can run at the speed of light but oooo boba has a jet pack people say read that up again it says it has enough fuel for a constant 1 minuite flight ooo thats big ye boba has missles, lasers and bombs comming outa his butt hole but master chief just has to slam down a granade shield n sit in his Jacuzzi with a martiny whilst boba throws and shoots granades and missle at him then when there both out of ammo n bobas fuel is wasted close combat is a dodle for master chief hes not slow with his punches just because master chief has bulky armour doesnt make him slow but infact makes him Faster! and boba is only a human and has human strength and reflexes MC has super human strength and agility and one well placed punch from master chief will send boba flying or dead boba can punch master chief but wtf will he do against master chiefs over shield then when he gets that down if he ever does how the hell is he gonna get past the full body suit hes wearing im sorry but there is no competition of who would win master chief hands down, ur comparing a man who is genetically enhanced a full body suit with a over shield on not to mention his years of combat training from a kid to a guy who was also born to kill from a kid but just doesnt have the strength speed or suit to match master chiefs.

Sure, boba has neat toys, but the whole point is, SO DOES MASTER CHIEF. Master chief dodges bullets, has unbreakable bones, and can outrun cars!! boba’s just some ordinary human with some nice gadgets, but once mc gets in his face, all mc needs to do is punch boba’s face and fett’s head will literally fly off. chief has dealt with everything, including these twelve foot tall hunters, nine foot tall elites, brutes which rip those twelve foot tall hunters apart and these crazy parasitic alien life forms which frickin’ swarm you! he pretty much defeated an entire covenant army on halo in ce, and what has boba done? eat lightsaber!!! chief knows how to use energy sword too…and he has stuff better than rockets…SPARTAN LASER, anybody seen that for halo 3? that owns boba’s little rocket launchers.

Dude above me, you need to know more before you make an opinion. I don’t care how old this is but Boba has dealt with MORE than spartan 117. He’s dealt with numerous entire armies, just as bad aliens, jedi’s and everything! He has perfect accuracy and knows how to use hand to hand combat weapons very well. He’s stronger than your average dude and very clever. And seriously he has shields too. You’re right, screw the rocket but what about the flamethrower, various gernades, sonic rifle, dual pistols, grappling hook, numerous helmet performances including control over his ship (that alone could blow him to pieces)and 360 degree HUD layout of battlefield, other rockets hiden in knee-pads, guantlets, and belt including acidic, explosive and stun tips and a gernade launcher plus the other smaller things. What now b####?! And according to the game 117 can either hold 2 weapons simotaniously or switch between 2. Ohh and he can jump high. So, not only does Fett have more weapons but he is definetly faster, even without his jetpack. So look it up in wikipedia which I just did and everything I said here will be confirmed. Oh, wait no. They don’t actually write that the Cheif would be creamed. Prove me wrong fan boy.

umm if fett calls his ships master chief could just jack an installation and blow that ship to pieces. also fuel, in the back of a person, bad idea. also it seems a light saber will cut cleanly through him, well mc has an energy sword, plus with his strength to knock in steel walls i think that would cut just fine. I also forgot to mention that a covenant installation can turn planets into like glass or whatever(haven’t read the books). Okay and enough with the boba has rockets and flamethrowers, his new armor doesn’t get damaged to fire. rockets, pshh read every other comment and you’ll see that he can outrun, or take the damage of it. Also mc has fought the flood, an organism that feeds off others body and use them as a host and what not, all boba ever faced where some jedi’s and siths. thats like, an elite and a brute which master chief has slain, many. Don’t forget about Cortona who could easily just hack his shit and make it useless and make mc and boba fight hand to hand. ughh im sure that a hit from master chief would be like a car going 200 miles and hitting you only in one place. Boba would only have one advantage, he might be a tad smarter than mc, but when the hell has a nerd in real life ever beat a bully up? Now lets take them both out of there armor, and just leave it at that. ugh mc took drugs that crippled, killed, and made others go mentally impaired and survived which makes him better. I’m sure that gave him some kind of tolerance to other things like poison.
Now for fun lets just put the whole halo universe against the star wars universe. the covenant not to mention the unsc could own anything flying. elites, brutes, and hunters could easily handle a handful of jedi’s. Grunts, jackels, and drones could easily take out anyone else. the death star would be easily destroyed by any installation. sith powers like choke and lightning would work, but from far away?
Okay back to the point, masterchief would win every time no matter what way you go through it, master chief could counter any move boba made. Also i take back that boba would be smarter, i just wanted to make it so that way you boba fans wouldn’t be so mad but i don’t care anymore lol

Boba fett all the way. It comes down to if they start with their default weapons. Fett Would easily take the cake. First off Mandalorian Steel(what his armor is made of) is immune to lightsabers so master cheifs bullets would be entirely harmless.
and Boba Fett is always prepared for a fight long before it takes place so he will have tricks up his sleeve for anything Master Cheif can throw at him. Boba Fett also has blaster pistols a blaster rifle rocket launchers on his wrists and a giant rocket on his jetpack.

Yeah and to point out to the idiot that thinks because Master chiefs been training since he was 7…. Boba Fett is a clone of Jango Fett and was raised by said Jango Fett to be a mandalorian warrior and a bounty hunter from birth. And to those that think master chief can hack slave 1 (boba’s ship) wrong again. Slave 1 is rigged with more boobie traps and security systems that no one could possibly survive hacking into his computer. Not to mention the technology in slave 1 is at least 10,000 years ahead of anything master chief has seen. No Boba Fett isnt bio engineered like MC but he has many more years of Experience fighting all sorts of enemies. Boba Fett also has every sort of locking system and detection equipment built into his armor that master chief has plus many more. AND Boba Fett Survived the Sarlacc Pit. amd yeah that guy that thinks boba fett has a lightsaber is a total nob. The whole thing about MC being faster smarter and more accurate is also wrong because boba fett is the most fearsome bounty hunter in the star wars universe and you dont get to be the most fearsome anything by not being strong, fast and accurate.

Fett would win. His armour is able, and designed to take high punishment. Fett could withstand MC emptying an entire battle rifle magazine into his armour and not be affected, his mandalorian armour far withstands anything the Master Chief has. Also Fetts weapons are far more advanced, and as such MC has no defence. Fett is also an assassin, one of the greatest of his universe, and one on one, would never be beaten by MC.
Once again, you all give MC to much credit. This fight would be more fair in terms that Fett cannot cloak, or use the force, but Fett would be the undeniable victor.

Boba all the way. Jetpack, Flamethrower, Kamino Saberdarts, SKILLS… “Chief” lacks all of these, and Boba hunts and kills more than just silly aliens that try the same thing every time. When Boba goes after a bounty, there is no telling what can happen. Don’t try to come back and say chief is better, your just a halo fanboy and you dont know the facts. Chief isnt nearly as disciplined and hardened as Boba, and those make all the difference… Fett has the advantage. Period.

To whoever thinks that Boba is more disciplined or faster than SPARTAN-117 is a dumbass, SPARTAN-117 started his training at age six and is around forty-something and has genetic augmentations that makes a normal humans movements slow to him and his bones cannot be broken. He also has defeated numerous Covenant armadas, single handedly defeated the Flood on Alpha Halo, and also destroyed said Halo. Master Chief has more capability’s then Boba Fett, no im not counting the tech. Boba Fett is strong and powerful with his suit and items, but Master Chief is strong normally without his suit. Now with both in full gear and capability’s, Boba Fett has a ship yes, but if fully prepared Master can call in a whole mess of marines, Longsword fighters or even Spartans as his comm is built into his suit. Plus he has the ability to make split second battle plans with the us of an AI such as Cortana. But if they just have their suits and BASIC armaments or the stuff they carry around on a average basis, Boba Fett would be a worthy foe but Master Chief is usually used to be under powered against someone else. But honestly if we had a true Master Chief and a true Boba Fett, They would not fight each other because Fett is a bounty hunter and Master Chief fights enemys of the UNSC. IT’S ALL OPINION! Look, I’ve read all the Halo books and all the Fett related Star Wars books. I know the full capabilities and personalities of each of them, and I have to say that Fett would win. It’s not that it’d be an EASY fight, but Fett would win.
Let’s assume neither knows anything about the other, so they start with standard armament foe both. That gives Chief his Halo 2 armor, an SMG/pistol, and his BR. Fett has his standard assortment of goodies, including his BlastTech EE-3 blaster rifle, concussion missile launcher on his back, knee-pad rockets, flamethrower, wrist-rockets, wrist cannon, and whip-cord. To name a few.
For those of you who say Chief can dodge bullets - which he can - do you really mean to tell me that the speed of sound plus some - Which is the FASTEST a bullet can move - is faster than the speed of light? And what are lasers? Oh, right, coherent light.
And as far as Fett having no skills, read the episode 2 novel. That’s where you’ll see him being trained by Jango, and even when Boba throws a dart with perfect accuracy, Jango criticizes it and tells his ’son’ to always strive for the BEST, not just adequate.
Okay, so they start off, we’ll say, on Halo Installation 04, on the way to the Temple where Truth was killed. The spot where you fight the hunters with the Marines at your back, you other Halo nuts.
Neither knows the capabilities of the other, so they both switch to their default threat mode. Chief takes a bead and opens fire with his BR. Boba Fett takes off defensively with his jetpack - which can sustain flight for 90 seconds and has a recharging fuel cell, thank you very much - and begins peppering fire at Chief.
Chief, not willing to remain in the open, allows his shields to absorb the brunt of the damage - and plasma is weaker star wars lasers if you read First Strike, where Cortana turns the Covie weapons in to lasers and annhialates all the covie ships in range - and hides behind some cover, waiting for his shields to recharge.
Taking advantage of his opponent’s momentary delay, Fett activates his rocket on his pack, preferring to be prepared for anything. After all, if several direct hits from his high-powered rifle didn’t destroy his target, he’s better safe than sorry.
Back on the ground, Chief realizes his quarry has a massive advantage with the jetpack. Altitude is crucial in any engagement. Deciding against a plasma grenade - which can be easily dodged by somebody who ISN’T enhanced like Chief - he figures he’s got a better chance at knocking out the jetpack with his BR. Of course, his target isn’t going to present his weakness so easily, so Chief has to aim for a nozzle on the pack.
Fett, seeing Chief poke from behind his cover, allows himself to lose some height in favor of increased accuracy and power on his waeponry. Chief’s aim proves true, and Fett’s jetpack responds wildly. Having hit the nozzle, though, the jetpack is merely damaged, not destroyed.
Fett allows himself to fall to the ground, but as he falls, he targets and fires his concussion missile, deciding it’s better to keep his prey on the run rather than using such deadly accuracy against him.
Chief sees the rocket coming, and dives out of the way. The rocket explodes on the ground behind him, sending out a massive shockwave as it was designed to do. Fett is knocked off balance, but Chief, who was slightly airborne when the wave hit him, is thrown wildly in to the wall, dazed from the explosion and the impact.
Fett’s Visor adjusts to the smoke and debris, and he takes aim. He notes his quarry’s armor glowing slightly as the shields begin to recharge, and Fett would rather end this quickly. He pours fire in to the glowing spot on his visor.
Chief’s armor begins blistering as the refractive coating begins to bubble away, and the insulating gel begins heating uncomfortably against his skin. Dropping his BR, Cheif rolls awkwardly out of the way, still dazed from the explosion and draws his SMG. He peppers fire at Fett, who is still raining searing energy on Chief.
The bullets spang ineffectively off Fett’s armor, and Fett is amused that the wearer of such an advanced armor system would use slug-based weaponry rather than energy based. Fett pauses his withering fire long enough to snap off a wrist rocket.
Minutes later, Slave I lands in the clearing, and Fett carries the helmet of his fallen quarry to his little trophy rack. Slightly battered, but no worse for the wear, he enters the coordinates for the nearest system that has a Holonet tranceiver and prepares to collect his due.

My question is when does this occur? Between movies boba fett is the man but by episode 6 he is past his prime and i think would lose. Unfortunately in episode 6 he gets eaten after solo who was BLIND! at the time ACCIDENTALY breaks his jet pack. It goes to show that fett lost his 6th sense when he started working for the empire. As for the chief he is pretty unlikely to make the same mistake unless being played by my aunt who couldnt get up the stairs on the first lvl of halo2

ok as soon as the battle begins MC runs at fett, fett bewildered at the recklessness of MC takes out whatever pussy laser he has and starts shooting at MC noticing a strange glowing he shoots a wrist rocket at MC who catches the tiny missile and throws it back at him lucky that he has pretty fast reflexes fett leans forward dodging the missile and shoots the bigger missile
MC notices this and (unable to simply catch the large misille without detonating it) he knocks it aside easily but takes some more damage
fett realizing hes about to have a mjolnir mark 6 boot shoved up he a$$ turn on his rocket launcher and uses the flamethrower which will kill his sheild but by now MC is close enough to punch the living f#@! out of fett if by a miracle he does not die MC will pull out a 1945 colt (yes 100 year old weapon by the time MC is now using it) and blow fett up
there u have it a battle that will last 15 seconds at most
and then MC would allow people to piss on fetts dead body for a quarter because the fight was not worth it

Boba wouldn’t even get close to MC to fight close-quarters, he’s not like that.
Boba wouldn’t even appear on MC’s radar as he doesn’t have a Halo ID device - tag, (Read: First Strike for more info of this) therefore ‘invisible’ on radar (If MC’s radar detects anything, why don’t you see any terrain blips on it or animal & wildlife blips such as birds?).
MC is very weak. Wow, so much training and cybernetic implants, chemicals, super-strength, lifts 3 tons, smashes through concrete, yet a little hunter can squish him or kill him just my smacking MC a little. Wow MC is REAL strong. A sad little FRAG (Frag grenades, are grenades that kill solely by SMALL fragments of metal) grenade kills him. The grenade isn’t even advanced like napalm, or explosive or high explosive or EMP or anything! A FRAG grenade! Wow some ‘bullet-proof’ armor, he dies by SMALL LITTLE metal fragments from a frag grenade. MC also dies by bullets too. (Halo & Halo 2 multiplayer, remember you fools?)
I thought he has unbreakable bones, one whack or melee in the back, kills him instantly.
In Starwars, the lazers are only seen for visual interest.
Starwars has TOTAL space combat control. What does Earth have? Pathetic projectile weapons & sad conventional explosives.
Starwars has lasers beams, ions beams, pulse energy cannons, proton torpedos, concussion missiles, fusion bombs etc. Not to mention shields.

poskov you are an idiot, MC doesnt use radar, its a motion sensor, IF something moves, it shows up. Since the Armor is decades ahead of current software suites in similar battle systems, The Mjolnir is quite capable of distinguishing between environment and targets. Sure MC may be weak, but Boba has the exact same weaknesses to an even greater extent, I dont think he can fall 2 kilmeters without dying, whereas MC did just that from orbit as well (so count in a terminal velocity plus HE WAS ON FIRE) and survived. Poskov you obviously never read the books, i highly doubt you ever played the campaign either. On more thing, plasma is so much stronger than lasers no matter how you look at it. Plus, the lasers in Star Wars are mere misnomers. If they did shoot lasers, there would be an instantaneous hit, just point and shoot at the speed of light, sadly thats not the reality. I wont say im an expert on star wars, but if we were to take the movies into account, star wars also uses plasma.
Stealth, in reality, spartan are very well trained in staying in the shadows, and moving wihtout a sound. Plus, the suit gives them protection against thermal detection, as it is capable of temperature changing.
All those star wars weapons are so easily countered….GRAVITY HAMMER + shield= dead boba
Now towards HunterFett…the situation you described shows boba havign the reaction time to dodge a headshot….while unaware of chief. Next, When the chief goes for cover, he goes for cover, not let his shield take hits…The master chief is capable of jumping stories high (not implemented in the game, but if you read the book, a marine using the protype system jumped 27 stories high before landing as a mush of a body) Plus, master chief is fully capable of hitting armor joints. The pistol is capable of a headshot against master chief who’s armor is definitely superior to boba’s. As for the rocket that boba has, Master chief outran a pelican missile…a rocket is shit compared to that…you obviously havent read a thing you liar…fact is, Master chief is faster, stronger, smarter (also trained forma a young age told alaways to win), than any character ever made wihtout magical or supernatural powers, or esp… He is not the mindless robot in the game, go read the books people.
A lot of Master chief’s abilities were toned down for the game, such as teh fact that unless you hit the titanium weave (the black) in chief’s armor, small projectiles and even ballistics (like rocks and enviromental hazards) have NO effect whatsoever on the main battle plates. Chief’s armor is SHIP grade titanium supported by a gel layer that absorbs any kinetic energy.
In terms of pure power of teh armor and himself, MC survived a two kilometer fall while already at terminal velocity. Basic physics, momentum equals his mass (hlaf a ton) times his velocity which i would estimate at around 100 meters per second, do the math, and youll find just how much of a beating he can take. Also remeber, this is the future, bullets, gunpowder, adn all are capable of ripping through Alien shields, that shows the chemical enhancements that have been made. Those guns that master chief use are not the same as present guns

Dude master cheif get hit by energy swords and servives and boba died to one swift blow from mace windu’s lightsaber not only that but boba fetts jetpack runs out. Did any of you play the boba fett game?? The jet pack runs out in like 3 seconds flat and not only that all of his weapons have long ass recharge times like his laser rifle takes him 15 seconds to be able to shoot again. Not only that but because of the halo ring’s spinning speed the gravity on them is alot so in reality in a location where therte is normal amounts of gravity the Master cheif will go super fast.

Boba would probably win, chief has excellent aim and shields and luck, but Fett is clever and plans ahead, not to mention he has lasers and many other weapons in his arsenal. Lasers are more powerful then plasma so they would melt through shields faster, and boba’s armor is made so hard that lightsabeers can’t penetrate it (mace cut jango at the neck which was relatively unprotected, boba also cheated death, I mean he survived the sarlac, blew his way out of it and recovered. also boba isn’t an honerable fighter, he’d wait until the chief was busy fighting and then snipe him or set undetectable explosives on a vehicle that he’s going to ride or something, but unless the master chief was using rockets or a sniper, his chances are nearly non-existant, and even he did have them they’d still be pretty low. So all in all I’d say Fetts ruthlessness and cleverness would win him the day

In the end i think that Fett could bat MC but it wouldn’t be an easy fight itd be really close. plus even if fet got really hurt all hd hafta do is call his ship and get the f*** outta there, get in a bacta tank and b ready to fight again in a few hours.

Someone earlier mentioned fett blasting his way out of the sarlacc and as stupid as i think it is its a fact and it definitely if considered possible by george proves me wrong when i said that fett was over the hill as well i recently thought of the ion setting standard on most blasters this is the blue beams you may have seen in the movies or games its a simple version of the more primitive connor nets used to overload electrical systems on starships this ion beam would not only drain the chiefs suit but also disable most of its functions for those of you who read the first halo novel youll note that the moljinr armour works by changing conventional muscle movements into electrical messages which command the armour to move. Imagine the ion beam as one of those pain in the ass power drains you can drop in halo 3 its basicly the same except the ion beam would also disable the chiefs ability to move with the suits agility

Last i checked chief cant fly plus the fett is just as smart a combatant and wouldnt make the mistake of getting anywhere near masterchief anyone with a brain can tell that the chiefs suit gives him the strength of a constipated wookie on crack for those of you who dont get that it means hed rip boba fetts arms off and probably beat him with them. Ok….for those out there that think Master Chief would win, I think you all are wrong. It would be a fight of the ages, don’t get me wrong, but I think Fett has him beat. First, I’m thinking that the chiefs shields are the quality of Legendary skill level. This make him tough, not invincible. Second, Fett isn’t called the best bounty hunter in the galaxy for nothing; he can hold his own. Third, everyone here says “but master chief has shields + armor!” Please don’t forget that Fett has Mandalorian Battle Armor, which is the only reason he is able to blast his way out of the Pit of Sarlacc in Return of the Jedi. For those of you who thought he died in that scene, think again. If you don’t believe me, look it up. To win, the Master Chief would have to rely on luck, but as we all know , he has plenty of that……

Battle lay out:
Boba fett has his equipment
(if you follow the methos a blaster is super charger gas, ie Plasma, not lasers)
MC has Battle rifle, Plasma pistol and a handful of grenades.
If they shoot it out, MC shields will give him a huge advantage, If Fett uses Jet pack, MC hits him with super charged plasma pistol (Emp effect in halo 3) would stuff his pack (the pack has an electrical pilot light to ignite, Right)
If fett uses his ship which is ion meshed to stop emp, and chief is in a banshee… pretty even. What it comes down to is whilst Fett is awesome, he is still only human, MC is a skilled as fett but also has stupid amounts of bio enhancements for speed,reactions times and strength, Sorry fett. You probably wouldn have much chance.

I am not a big fan of BF but from what i heard, i think its a tie. MC has the skills of an experienced combat soldier. BF has weapons of assassination. Even if MC had the weapons and vechicles to kill BF, I think BF could have something else up his sleeve and deflect or block MC’s attacks. I know he don’t have shields but he has a jetpack and hidden weapons. MC would have to use long range weapons to kill BF before BF uses his. But assassins are heard to be quick and successful. A assassin versus a cyborg, I don’t know who is better. I think they both outmatch each other.

Well, I must say something. Notice that in the Video games of Halo, normal bullets can–and will–eventually penetrate MC’s armor. With Fett’s superb flechette rifle, he could possibly defeat MC (laser rifle). And, Fett’s armour is strong as well. Genuine Mandolorian armor. It can withstand many lasers until it penetrates and kills. So, if his armor can take powerful lazers, it is sure to take normal bullets.
And Fett’s jetpack will definately give him an edge. He is masterful at using it. So, since Fett would have the high ground, that puts hiding out of the question for MC.
Fett also has saber darts in his arsenal…I am not sure who overlooked this one! One neck shot or an open area and MC would be instantaneously dead. Mc definately wouldn’t be able to catch it either, for, it is faster than a lazer. And lazers are energy, which means a saber dart will go faster than the speed of light…Anyway…look what happened to Zam Wessel in episode 2 due to Jango’s saber darts…that is a clear example of what they can do–and will do.

*sigh* Boba Fett fans are majorly clueless to Halo. Master Chief takes on hordes of armies, Can come through space and survive whilst on fire, can lift warthogs tanks etc, and while MC doesnt have his own ship, he can still call for back up (even though the marines suck why not call the Covenant >:) lol coz they could side with him for once…lol I wish) he has armour that sustains pretty much anything and everything. He has taken on a whole Hell load of Flood (which are frickin annoying and sometimes fast) a even more hell load of Covenant (which I think are cool
but are sometimes weak in cramped and surrounded situations) and he has taken on 343 Guilty Spark and his so called Guardians that are known as Sentinels (which I find 343 to be really annoying Im sure everyone agrees with me that 343 is annoying and his laugh is retarded funny and freaky and he wasted his pathetic time to build a army of robots to stop the Flood which they cant even do that. One or two slashes from Flood claws and they explode. Time wasting fool. )

Boba Fett I admit is pretty cool to what people have said. But not as cool as Master Chief. Spartans are incredibly strong and trained at a very VERY young age. Boba Fett was trained by his father. BUT his father got his head chopped off by a Jedi named Mace Windu. BUT Mace Windu got his arm chopped off by Anakin and zapped to death by Darth Sidious. Which Darth Sidious got killed by Luke Skywalker and the inflict of the last zapping from Darth Sidious killed Darth Vader(aka Anakin). Luke Skywalker isnt as smart as Han Solo. Han Solo (while being blind) knocked Boba’s jetpack out of control and sent it haywire and he didnt even think to take it off and he fell into his doom into the Sarlacc. and even though he may have survived, if Darth Vader or Darth Sidious were still alive or Jabba the Hutt, they would send along their pathetic Mercenaries or Armies to hunt down Boba Fett for failing to do his job properly and he wouldnt get paid which would lose his confidence and he would probably do bad in the battle anyway. Also Boba Fett would take a while to get back to civilization, as his weapons will drain out and probably rust over the long period walk and his jet pack would run out of fuel incredibly quickly and as soon as he did reach a town with civilization, the Imperial Troopers would have taken him out for failing to eliminate the threat known as a Jedi (which by the way I thought that Boba could take on easy… obviously not. Obviously as pathetic as his father. Big mistake.) and a dumb blind man. and as I have heard and read about it, the Flood(while they may be smart and large in numbers) and the Covenant (big in numbers and kinda tough) are just as pathetic and weak as the Imperial Troopers. AND heres the good bit. The Master Chief has taken on the Covenant and The Flood and beaten them down ALL on his own. (pathetic Marines dont even do any damage stupid bastards) so if you trail it all down and add it all up and go through it properly, MC beats Boba Fett and everything else in Star Wars, without even thinking it out. Strength, Speed and Intelligence are extras that wont be needed as that wouldn’t be used in this easy fight. Master Chief Wins! The Whole Way.

I would win. If we were to do battle on a map, I would beat Master Chief to any of the weapons on the map due to my jetpack. Most likely I would rush rockets and then hover above him, dodging his fire, while I laughed and bombarded himm with rockets.
Many of you seem to think I would use my jetpack to escape, but the reality is Master Chief will have no time to recharge his shields because I will be flying after him, guns blazing.
And I have flamethrowers on my wrists, you’ll notice that once a Spartan comes in contact with fire, he gets incenerated. He would be worthy prey, but prey nonetheless.

Most of the people here don’t know enough about either of these characters to really make any valid points. Killed by a fish? come on. they both fight hordes of seemingly unstoppable creatures single handedly, and have really bad days at the office. the movies with fett hardly count, mainly because fett is considered more of a villan in the movies in which we all know that villans must somtime fall. even with a really lame defeat. also movie characters back then could’nt be used to their full potential, we all know this to be true ( thank god for the books!) anyway they both have their own advantages. several people neglected to mention of fett’s ion cannon, (which is one of countless other weapons of fett) which would knock out mc’s armor and electronic implants (super strength, sheilds, etc.) mc’s armor weighs at least seven hundred pounds and the impact would most likely knock mc down. now that he is down and immoble, and before anybody could reboot his systems, fett would finish him off in a flash. However, if mc was able to evoid fett’s attacks and keep his fire power on fett, he could drive off the bounty hunter. but he would have to use his more powerful weapons to even dream of getting past fett’s armor ( it’s more durable than it looks.) if mc decides to ground fett when he flies off, that would be a death wish, the thing i wrote above would happen. and remember that mc doesn’t carrie all his weapons at a time, where as fett just by looking at someone has twenty different weapons pointing at you. but mc’s shields (if fett diddn’t use ion cannon) would probaly help mc last longer than fett. fett’s jetpack, though defective at times, gives fett speed highth and a massive missle, which if you remember in the games chief is killed with a single shot. an energy sword would be an advantaige to mc if he could reach fett, but light sabers apparenty have a hard time breaching fett’s armor. jedi academy. both mc and fett play a little dirty though. mc being a spartan soldier willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done, and fett being a mandaorian warrior, who is willing to do… well what i said above works for fett too. But both these guys are far too indestructible to die by each others hands or anyboby elses ( actually, wouldn’t it be cool if these two teamed up and fought against an army of fludd and yuuzhan vong?). But seriously, get on with your lives! you can’t beat either of these guys! you survive them! to close this thing, the chief and the fett man are the coolest characters ever! sorry about the spelling errors.

actually if fett wore crushguants (which we can be certain he has) he could just as easily rip through mc’s armor. but all of you are acting like the’re just going to stand still and take a punch. not going to happen. they would keep track of each other with their advanced huds. plus after the sarlacc incident, fett installed a 360 degree view to his hud so that no one could sneak up on him. i don’t care what you think but that’s pretty damn cool! plus now that i think about it, whenever you play any halo game, certain weapons can kill you with a single shot. ive played a sw game where you fight fett as a jedi and none of your weapons even work against the guy. that includes high powered sniper rifle, missle launcher, fletchet gun, thermal dets, a freakin lightsaber, and the force barely work against him, while pretty much one shot kills you in the fight. chief could only hope to some how turn fett’s weapons against him. and all of you who think that fett and chief have higher skills than the other, you’re partially wrong. they are equal in most things, exept fett has a higher intellegt than mc, and mc has higher strength (even without suit and implant augmintation) than fett. though both are strong and considered to have geinius intellegts. fett’s armor is alot more durable than mc’s, but mc does have a good advantage with his sheilds. people have one thing down though, bullets would only recocet against fett’s armor. and yes, that includes mc’s high-powered sniper rifle. and since thermal dets (the small bombs that have been known to level citys) don’t work against fett, i sincerly doubt that plasma and concussion grenades would work. i’m not taking sides, i still think that either of them are too powerful to defeat eachother, meaning a draw. but halo has become so popular that of course the majority of freaks and geeks are going to side with mc, so i have to still protect the original badass, savvy?

Boba Fett would totally kick this one. I mean, MC is the man and all, but seriously lacks the hand to hand that Boba has. You think he would go down with with just a little smack? Then again, assassins can only be assassinated….

and after actually reading the thread…. check out the wookiepedia link.. At one point, Boba fights Vader to a Draw using a lightsaber that he took from a Jedi he killed… so yes he does have a lightsaber… and how many jedi has MC killed…
don’t get me wrong… both are awesome… but Fett would win…
