At a glance, this might seem like a slam dunk for Wolverine, but of you take into account the penance stare of Ghost Rider, he could drive Wolvy insane, and pull off one heck of a victory!

Well, if Ghost Rider could actually force Wolverine into such exhaustion that he could use his penance stare, Rider will win.
Otherwise, I don’t see how each one could overpower each other. This fight will likely end in a draw.
Unless dawn approaches, then Rider will turn back into a human, and Wolverine will win easily.
Wolverine is resistant to psychic attacks upto level 9 due to mental shielding Professor X placed on him, not sure if Ghost Rider’s penance stare would get past that, and due to his healing abilities he doesn’t get tired as easily as others, and can fight for 24 hours without wearing down, so he’d deffinatly be able to outlast GR until dawn…
Wolverine wins easily. His bones are unbreakable and he would rip the rider apart!
Wolverine would easily fight it out until dawn, and when Ghost Rider turns human he doesn’t stand a chance against Wolverine.

no 1 seems 2 take into acount that ghost rider can only be killed by magic, not to mention that his penance stare is a magic attack not a psychic 1.
This fight will be LONG. Heling Factor = Mystical Invulnerability. No getting around that.
Logan has the upper hand in fighting skill, while Blaze has the upper hand in pure power. However, there is nothing in Wolverine’s arsenal that can really stop the Rider.
Ghost Rider has had his skull blown to shards, to be recomposed in just a few pannels. He has blown off and entire city block. Logan would need a little while to regenerate that amount of damage.
Then we have the overpowered Pennace Stare. Something that turns the pain of your sins against you. Something tells me Logan will be hurting BAD from this.
Unless the setting of the fight gives Wolverine a situational advantage, I give this win to Ghost Rider after many days of brutal combat.
Actually, I think we need to see more of the Rider in here. Its not his fault the previous writers for the title have sucked, the character is a total baddass.
I think he could pull wins against many top contenders.
The Rider would cheat the only weak spot wolverine has is his mind seeing as he has nightmares about his past he would go mad but other than that it would be a straight up stalemate since neithercan die easily

Really, the only hope to WIN the rider has is to unleash a pennace stare that would drive Logan mad. Having as many years of strife, combat, and murder on Wolverine’s resume, I dont see it as impossible.

By that I meant beings that can affect matter at a molecular level.
Other than the Pennace stare, Ghostie can go nuclear and desintegrate every cell in Logan’s body down to the bone. However, this has been done before and Logan has survived it after a few moments to regenerate.
These are the powes we have seen, mind you. It has been suggested that Ghost Rider has the juice to put even the Incredible Hulk out of comission. Who said that, you ask? Stephen Strange. One of the most powerful beings in the Marvel universe. He said that to an angel right after waking up from a righteous beating…courtesy of the Rider.
And so this fight would go. Logan tears the Rider to bits (having superior fighting prowess). The Rider fixes himself. Blaze burns Logan to a chared mess. Wolverine fixes himself. Again, and again, and again.
Untill Ghost rider manages to bind Wolverine long enough to stare him down, then the mutant would be out.
